thereafter you are destined to die ,
ከዚያም እናንተ ከዚህ በኋላ በእርግጥ ሟቾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

and who destined and [ then ] guided
የዚያንም የወሰነውን ፡ ፡ ( ለተፈጠረለት ነገር ) የመራውንም ፡ ፡

everyone on earth is destined to die .
በእርሷ ( በምድር ) ላይ ያለው ሁሉ ጠፊ ነው ፡ ፡

except one who is ( destined ) to burn in hell .
ያንን እርሱ ገሀነምን ገቢ የሆነውን ሰው ቢሆን እንጅ ፡ ፡

we have destined death for you and no one can challenge us
እኛ ሞትን ( ጊዜውን ) በመካከላችሁ ወሰንን ፡ ፡ እኛም ተሸናፊዎች አይደለንም ፡ ፡

surely , hell is the place to which they are destined ,
« ገሀነምም ( ለርሱና ለተከተሉት ) ለመላውም በእርግጥ ቀጠሯቸው ናት ፡ ፡

only those who are destined to revert , are reverted from it .
ከርሱ የሚዝዞር ሰው ይዝዞራል ፡ ፡

from a sperm-drop he created him and destined for him ;
ከፍትወት ጠብታ ፈጠረው ፤ መጠነውም ፡ ፡

but those who deny the truth and deny our signs are destined for hell .
እነዚያም የካዱና በተአምራቶቻችን ያስተባበሉ እነዚያ የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡

so we saved him and his family except his wife who was destined to stay behind .
እርሱንና ቤተሰቦቹንም አዳን ፡ ፡ ሚስቱ ፤ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ ( በጥፋቱ ውስጥ ) ከቀሪዎቹ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

( o prophet ) , you are destined to die and they too are destined to die .
አንተ ሟች ነህ ፤ እነርሱም ሟቾች ናቸው ፡ ፡

for the day of sorting out ( the men of paradise from the men destined for hell ) .
ለመለያው ቀን ( በተባለ ጊዜ ፤ በፍጡሮች መካከል ይፈረዳል ) ፡ ፡

and we made the earth burst with springs , and the waters met for a purpose already destined .
የምድርንም ምንጮች አፈነዳን ፡ ፡ ውሃውም ( የሰማዩና የምድሩ ) በእርግጥ በተወሰነ ኹነታ ላይ ተገናኘ ፡ ፡

so we saved him and his family , except for his wife , whom we destined to be among the laggards .
እርሱንና ቤተሰቦቹንም አዳን ፡ ፡ ሚስቱ ፤ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ ( በጥፋቱ ውስጥ ) ከቀሪዎቹ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

and caused springs to gush out from the earth , so that the two waters met totalling a quantity that had been destined .
የምድርንም ምንጮች አፈነዳን ፡ ፡ ውሃውም ( የሰማዩና የምድሩ ) በእርግጥ በተወሰነ ኹነታ ላይ ተገናኘ ፡ ፡

but we saved him and his family , except his wife ; her we destined to be of those who lagged behind .
እርሱንና ቤተሰቦቹንም አዳን ፡ ፡ ሚስቱ ፤ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ ( በጥፋቱ ውስጥ ) ከቀሪዎቹ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

so we saved him and his family , except for his wife ; we destined her to be of those who remained behind .
እርሱንና ቤተሰቦቹንም አዳን ፡ ፡ ሚስቱ ፤ ብቻ ስትቀር ፡ ፡ ( በጥፋቱ ውስጥ ) ከቀሪዎቹ አደረግናት ፡ ፡

so those who believe ( in the message of the truth ) and do good are destined for happiness and a blissful end .
እነዚያ ያመኑትና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነሱ ደግ ኑሮ መልካም መመለሻም አላቸው ፡ ፡

how many towns did i respite at first though they were steeped in iniquity , and then i seized them ! to me are all destined to return .
ከከተማ እርሷ በዳይ ሆና ለእርሷ ጊዜ የሰጠኋትና ከዚያም የያዝኳት ብዙ ናት ፡ ፡ መመለሻም ወደኔ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

had allah not pre-destined a matter then , o muslims , a terrible punishment would have come upon you due to the ransom you took from the disbelievers .
ከአላህ ያለፈ ፍርድ ባልነበረ ኖሮ በወሰዳችሁት ( ቤዛ ) ከባድ ቅጣት በነካችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡
