« ሃሩንን ወንድሜን ፡ ፡

the lord of musa and haroun .
« በሙሳና በሃሩን ጌታ ፡ ፡ »

peace be on musa and haroun .
ሰላም በሙሳና በሃሩን ላይ ይሁን ፡ ፡

and certainly we conferred a favor on musa and haroun .
በሙሳና በሃሩን ላይም በእርግጥ ለገስን ፡ ፡

and we gave to him out of our mercy his brother haroun a prophet .
ከችሮታችንም ወንድሙን ሃሩንን ነቢይ አድርገን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡

and certainly we gave musa the book and we appointed with him his brother haroun an aider .
በእርግጥም ለሙሳ መጽሐፍን ሰጠነው ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም ጋር ወንድሙን ሃሩንን ረዳት አደረግንለት ፡ ፡

( musa ) said : o haroun ! what prevented you , when you saw them going astray ,
( ሙሳ ) አለ ፡ - « ሃሩን ሆይ ! ተሳስተው ባየሃቸው ጊዜ ምን ከለከልህ

and the magicians were cast down making obeisance ; they said : we believe in the lord of haroun and musa .
ድግምተኞቹም ሰጋጆች ኾነው ወደቁ ፡ ፡ « በሃሩንና በሙሳ ጌታ አመንን » አሉ ፡ ፡

then did we send up after them musa and haroun to firon and his chiefs with our signs , but they showed pride and they were a guilty people .
ከዚያም ከእነሱ ኋላ ሙሳንና ሃሩንን ወደ ፈርዖንና ወደ መማክርቱ በተዓምራታችን ላክን ፡ ፡ ኮሩም ትዕቢተኞች ሕዝቦችም ነበሩ ፡ ፡

and by breast straitens , and my tongue is not eloquent , therefore send thou to haroun ( to help me ) ;
« ልቤም ይጠብባል ፡ ፡ ምላሴም አይፈታም ፡ ፡ ስለዚህ ወደ ሃሩን ላክ ፡ ፡

and my brother , haroun , he is more eloquent of tongue than i , therefore send him with me as an aider , verifying me : surely i fear that they would reject me .
« ወንድሜም ሃሩን እርሱ ምላሱ ከእኔ የተባ ነው ፡ ፡ እውነተኛነቴንም የሚያረጋግጥልኝ ረዳት ኾኖ ከእኔ ጋር ላከው ፡ ፡ እኔ ሊያስተባብሉኝ እፈራለሁና ፡ ፡ »

and certainly haroun had said to them before : o my people ! you are only tried by it , and surely your lord is the beneficent allah , therefore follow me and obey my order .
ሃሩንም ከዚህ በፊት በእርግጥ አላቸው ፡ - « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ( ይህ ) በእርሱ የተሞከራችሁበት ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁም አልረሕማን ነው ፡ ፡ ተከተሉኝም ፡ ፡ ትዕዛዜንም ስሙ ፡ ፡ »

and the prophet said to them : surely the sign of his kingdom is , that there shall come to you the chest in which there is tranquillity from your lord and residue of the relics of what the children of musa and the children of haroun have left , the angels bearing it ; most surely there is a sign in this for those who believe .
ነቢያቸውም ለእነርሱ ፡ - « የንግሥናው ምልክት ከጌታችሁ የኾነ እርጋታ የሙሳ ቤተሰብና የሃሩን ቤተሰብ ከተውትም ቅርስ በውስጡ ያለበት መላእክት የሚሸከሙት ኾኖ ሳጥኑ ሊመጣላችሁ ነው ፡ ፡ አማኞች ብትኾኑ በዚህ ለእናንተ እርግጠኛ ምልክት አልለ » አላቸው ፡ ፡
