ወይስ ለእናንተ የምትፈርዱት አላችሁ በማለት ( ቃል ኪዳን የገባንላችሁ ) እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን ደራሽ የኾኑ መሓላዎች ለእናንተ በእኛ ላይ አሏችሁን ?

he said , " have you come to us to turn us out of our land by means of your magic , moses ?
« ከምድራችን በድግምትህ ልታወጣን መጣህብን ሙሳ ሆይ ! » አለ ፡ ፡

believers , take care of your own souls . the misguided cannot harm you as long as you are guided .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ነፍሶቻችሁን ( ከእሳት ) ያዙ ፤ ( ጠብቁ ) ፡ ፡ በተመራችሁ ጊዜ የተሳሳተ ሰው አይጎዳችሁም ፡ ፡ የሁላችሁም መመለሻ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል ፡ ፡

say : ' have you taken with god a covenant ? god will not fail in his covenant ; or say you things against god of which you know nothing ?
« እሳትም የተቆጠሩን ቀኖች እንጂ አትነካንም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳን ይዛችኋልን ? ( ይህ ከኾነ ) አላህም ኪዳኑን አያፈርስም ፤ በእውነቱ በአላህ ላይ የማታውቁትን ትናገራላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

if good befalls you , it grieves them , and if hardship afflicts you , they say : indeed we had taken care of our affair before ; and they turn back and are glad .
መልካም ነገር ብታገኝህ ታስከፋቸዋለች ፡ ፡ መከራም ብታገኝህ « ከዚህ በፊት በእርግጥ ጥንቃቄያችንን ይዘናል » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ተደሳቾች ኾነው ይሸሻሉ ፡ ፡

take great care of your prayers , especially of a prayer that has excellent qualities of salat and stand before allah like devoted servants .
በሶላቶች ( በተለይ ) በመካከለኛይቱም ሶላት ላይ ተጠባበቁ ፡ ፡ ታዛዦች ኾናችሁም ለአላህ ቁሙ ፡ ፡

and they say , " never will the fire touch us , except for a few days . " say , " have you taken a covenant with allah ?
« እሳትም የተቆጠሩን ቀኖች እንጂ አትነካንም » አሉ ፡ ፡ « አላህ ዘንድ ቃል ኪዳን ይዛችኋልን ? ( ይህ ከኾነ ) አላህም ኪዳኑን አያፈርስም ፤ በእውነቱ በአላህ ላይ የማታውቁትን ትናገራላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

he said , ' o my people , is my tribe stronger against you than god ? and him -- have you taken him as something to be thrust behind you ?
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ጎሳዎቼ በእናንተ ላይ ከአላህ ይልቅ የከበሩ ናቸውን ( አላህን ) ከኋላችሁ ወደ ጀርባ አድርጋችሁም ያዛችሁት ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ከባቢ ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡

have you not considered ( the work of ) your lord , how he extends the shade ? and if he had pleased he would certainly have made it stationary ; then we have made the sun an indication of it
ወደ ጌታህ ( ሥራ ) ጥላን እንዴት እንደ ዘረጋ አላየህምን በሻም ኖሮ የረጋ ባደረገው ነበር ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ፀሐይን በእርሱ ላይ ምልክት አደረግን ፡ ፡

and the inmates of paradise will call to the residents of hell : " we have found that the promise made to us by our lord was true . have you also found the promise of your lord to be true ? "
የገነትም ሰዎች የእሳትን ሰዎች « ጌታችን ቃል የገባልንን እውነት ኾኖ አገኘን ፡ ፡ ጌታችሁ የዛተባችሁንስ እውነት ኾኖ አገኛችሁትን » ሲሉ ይጣራሉ ፡ ፡ « አዎን አገኘን » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ በመካከላቸውም « የአላህ ርግማን በበደለኞች ላይ ይኹን » ሲል ለፋፊ ይለፍፋል ፡ ፡

he ( pharaoh ) said ( to moses ) : ' did we not bring you up when you were a child ? and have you not spent years of your life amongst us ?
( ፈርዖንም ) አለ « ልጅ ኾነህ በእኛ ውስጥ አላሳደግንህምን በእኛ ውስጥም ከዕድሜህ ብዙ ዓመታትን አልተቀመጥክምን

o you who believe ! take care of your souls ; he who errs cannot hurt you when you are on the right way ; to allah is your return , of all ( of you ) , so he will inform you of what you did .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ነፍሶቻችሁን ( ከእሳት ) ያዙ ፤ ( ጠብቁ ) ፡ ፡ በተመራችሁ ጊዜ የተሳሳተ ሰው አይጎዳችሁም ፡ ፡ የሁላችሁም መመለሻ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል ፡ ፡
