ዩሱፍ ለአባቱ ፡ - « አባቴ ሆይ ! እኔ ዐስራ አንድ ከዋክብትን ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ( በሕልሜ ) አየሁ ፡ ፡ ለእኔ ሰጋጆች ሆነው አየኋቸው » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and i saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
በዙፋኑ ላይም በተቀመጠው በቀኝ እጁ ላይ በውስጥና በኋላ የተጻፈበት በሰባትም ማኅተም የተዘጋ መጽሐፍን አየሁ።

he replied : ' i saw what they did not see and seized a handful of dust from the foot print of the messenger and so i cast it this my soul prompted me to do '
ያላዩትን ነገር አየሁ ፡ ፡ ከመልክተኛው ( ከፈረሱ ኮቴ ) ዱካም ጭብጥ አፈርን ዘገንኩ ፡ ፡ ( በቅርጹ ላይ ) ጣልኳትም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁም ነፍሴ ሸለመችልኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

and i saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
ብርቱም መልአክ። መጽሐፉን ይዘረጋ ዘንድ ማኅተሞቹንም ይፈታ ዘንድ የሚገባው ማን ነው? ብሎ በታላቅ ድምፅ ሲያውጅ አየሁ።

when joseph said , " father , in my dream i saw eleven stars , the sun and the moon prostrating before me , "
ዩሱፍ ለአባቱ ፡ - « አባቴ ሆይ ! እኔ ዐስራ አንድ ከዋክብትን ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ( በሕልሜ ) አየሁ ፡ ፡ ለእኔ ሰጋጆች ሆነው አየኋቸው » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

at midday, o king, i saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.
ንጉሥ ሆይ፥ በመንገድ ሳለሁ እኩል ቀን ሲሆን በዙሪያዬና ከእኔ ጋር በሄዱት ዙሪያ ከፀሐይ ብሩህነት የበለጠ ብርሃን ከሰማይ ሲበራ አየሁ፤

when joseph told his father : " o my father , i saw eleven stars and the sun and the moon bowing before me in homage , "
ዩሱፍ ለአባቱ ፡ - « አባቴ ሆይ ! እኔ ዐስራ አንድ ከዋክብትን ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ( በሕልሜ ) አየሁ ፡ ፡ ለእኔ ሰጋጆች ሆነው አየኋቸው » ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

and when i saw him, i fell at his feet as dead. and he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, fear not; i am the first and the last:
ባየሁትም ጊዜ እንደ ሞተ ሰው ሆኜ ከእግሩ በታች ወደቅሁ። ቀኝ እጁንም ጫነብኝ እንዲህም አለኝ። አትፍራ፤ ፊተኛውና መጨረሻው ሕያውም እኔ ነኝ፥

and the other said : i saw myself carrying bread on my head , of which birds ate . inform us of its interpretation ; surely we see you to be of the doers of good .
ከእሱም ጋር ሁለት ጎበዞች እስር ቤቱ ገቡ ፡ ፡ አንደኛቸው « እኔ በህልሜ የወይን ጠጅን ስጠምቅ አየሁ » አለ ፡ ፡ ሌላውም ፡ - « እኔ በራሴ ላይ እንጀራን ተሸክሜ ከእሱ በራሪ ( አሞራ ) ስትበላ አየሁ ፡ ፡ ፍቹን ንገረን ፡ ፡ እኛ ከአሳማሪዎች ሆነህ እናይሃለንና » አሉት ፡ ፡

when joseph said to his father : ' father , i saw eleven planets , and the sun and the moon ; i saw them prostrating themselves before me '

የእኔ ፍቅር ፣ ይህ ቀን በጣም ልዩ እንዲሆን እፈልጋለሁ ፣ ምክንያቱም ዛሬ የልደት ቀንዎ ስለሆነ እና በእኔ ውስጥ የሚነሱትን ጥሩ ስሜቶች ሁሉ ለእርስዎ ለመንገር ልቤን ለመክፈት ስለፈለግኩ ፣ በዚህ ዓለም ውስጥ ያለኝ በጣም አስፈላጊ ሰው ሆነሻል ፣ የመሆን የእኔ ምክንያት ፣ የደስታዬ ምንጭ እና ይህን ዓለም ለመጋፈጥ የእኔ በጣም ኃይለኛ ተነሳሽነት ነዎት ፡፡ አንዳንድ ጊዜ ለእርስዎ ያለኝን ስሜት ሁሉ ለመግለጽ በቂ ቃላት የሉም ብዬ አስባለሁ ፣ ግን ይህን ደብዳቤ ሲያነቡ ከፍተኛ ፍቅር እንደሚሰማዎት ተስፋ አደርጋለሁ ፡፡
