እኛ ባንተ ላይ ከባድ ቃልን እንጥላለንና ፡ ፡

we shall soon entrust to you a message heavy ( with solemnity ) .
እኛ ባንተ ላይ ከባድ ቃልን እንጥላለንና ፡ ፡

thus we narrate to you reports of times gone by ; and we have given you a message from our presence .
እንደዚሁ በእርግጥ ካለፉት ወሬዎች ባንተ ላይ እንተርካለን ፡ ፡ ከእኛም ዘንድ ቁረኣንን በእርግጥ ሰጠንህ ፡ ፡

go your ways: behold, i send you forth as lambs among wolves.
ሂዱ፤ እነሆ፥ እንደ በጎች በተኵላዎች መካከል እልካችኋለሁ።

from it we created you and into it we shall send you back and from it will we raise you a second time .
ከእርሷ ( ከምድር ) ፈጠርናችሁ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ እንመልሳችኋለን ፡ ፡ ከእርሷም በሌላ ጊዜ እናወጣችኋለን ፡ ፡

he said : " i am just a message-bearer of your lord , i have come to grant you a most pure boy . "
« እኔ ንጹሕን ልጅ ለአንቺ ልሰጥሽ የጌታሽ መልክተኛ ነኝ » አላት ፡ ፡

behold, i send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
እነሆ፥ እኔ እንደ በጎች በተኵላዎች መካከል እልካችኋለሁ፤ ስለዚህ እንደ እባብ ልባሞች እንደ ርግብም የዋሆች ሁኑ።

do you feel secure that he will not send you back into it another time and unleash against you a shattering gale and drown you because of your unfaith ? then you will not find for yourselves any redresser against us .
ወይስ ሌላ ጊዜ ወደ እርሱ ( ወደ ባሕር ) የሚመልሳችሁ ወዲያውም በእናንተ ላይ ብርቱን ነፋስ የሚልክ በክሕደታችሁም ምክንያት የሚያሰጥማችሁ መኾኑን ከዚያም በኛ ላይ በእርሱ ተከታይን ( ረዳትን ) ለእናንተ የማታገኙ መኾናችሁን አትፈሩምን

or do ye feel secure that he will not send you back a second time to sea and send against you a heavy gale to drown you because of your ingratitude , so that ye find no helper . therein against us ?
ወይስ ሌላ ጊዜ ወደ እርሱ ( ወደ ባሕር ) የሚመልሳችሁ ወዲያውም በእናንተ ላይ ብርቱን ነፋስ የሚልክ በክሕደታችሁም ምክንያት የሚያሰጥማችሁ መኾኑን ከዚያም በኛ ላይ በእርሱ ተከታይን ( ረዳትን ) ለእናንተ የማታገኙ መኾናችሁን አትፈሩምን

" do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your lord , through a man of your own people , to warn you , - so that ye may fear allah and haply receive his mercy ? "
« አላህን ልትፈሩና ይታዘንላችሁም ዘንድ ከእናንተው ( ጎሳ ) በኾነ ሰው ላይ እንዲያስጠነቅቃችሁ ከጌታችሁ ግሳጼ ቢመጣላችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

or , do you feel secure that he will not send you back into it a second time , and send against you a violent tempest and drown you because of disbelief ? then you shall find no prosecutor ( to help ) you against us .
ወይስ ሌላ ጊዜ ወደ እርሱ ( ወደ ባሕር ) የሚመልሳችሁ ወዲያውም በእናንተ ላይ ብርቱን ነፋስ የሚልክ በክሕደታችሁም ምክንያት የሚያሰጥማችሁ መኾኑን ከዚያም በኛ ላይ በእርሱ ተከታይን ( ረዳትን ) ለእናንተ የማታገኙ መኾናችሁን አትፈሩምን

" do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your lord through a man of your own people , to warn you ? call in remembrance that he made you inheritors after the people of noah , and gave you a stature tall among the nations . call in remembrance the benefits ( ye have received ) from allah : that so ye may prosper . "
« ከጌታችሁ የኾነ ግሣጼ ከእናንተው ውስጥ ባንድ ሰው ላይ ያስጠነቀቃችሁ ዘንድ ቢመጣባችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን ከኑሕም ሕዝቦች በኋላ ምትኮች ባደረጋችሁና በፍጠረትም ግዙፍነትን በጨመረላችሁ ጊዜ አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ የሻችሁትንም ታገኙ ዘንድ የአላህን ጸጋዎች አስታውሱ ፡ ፡ »
