then how can you fear , if you disbelieve , a day that will make the children white- haired ?
ብትክዱ ልጆችን ሸበቶዎች የሚያደርገውን ቀን ( ቅጣት ) እንዴት ትጠበቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

that you send it ( not ) back-- if you are truthful ?
እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ነፍሲቱን ወደ አካሉ ) ለምን አትመልሷትም ፡ ፡

can you not bring him back ? ( answer ) if you are truthful
እውነተኞች እንደ ኾናችሁ ( ነፍሲቱን ወደ አካሉ ) ለምን አትመልሷትም ፡ ፡

if you are in doubt of what we have revealed to our votary , then bring a surah like this , and call any witness , apart from god , you like , if you are truthful .
በባሪያችንም ላይ ካወረድነው በመጠራጠር ውስጥ ብትኾኑ ከብጤው አንዲትን ምዕራፍ አምጡ ፡ ፡ እውነተኞችም እንደኾናችሁ ከአላህ ሌላ መስካሪዎቻችሁን ጥሩ ፡ ፡

beyond that , no other women are permissible for you , nor can you exchange them for other wives , even if you admire their beauty , except those you already have . god is watchful over all things .
ከእነዚህ በኋላ እጅህ ከጨበጠቻቸው ( ባሮች ) በስተቀር ሴቶች ለአንተ አይፈቀዱልህም ፡ ፡ ከሚስቶችም መልካቸው ቢደንቅህም እንኳ በእነርሱ ልታላውጥ ( አይፈቀደልህም ) ፡ ፡ አላህም በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነው ፡ ፡

and even if you bring to those who have been given the book every sign they would not follow your qiblah , nor can you be a follower of their qiblah , neither are they the followers of each other 's qiblah , and if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you , then you shall most surely be among the unjust .
እነዚያንም መጽሐፍን የተሰጡትን በአስረጅ ሁሉ ብትመጣቸው ቂብላህን አይከተሉም ፡ ፡ አንተም ቂብላቸውን ተከታይ አይደለህም ፡ ፡ ከፊላቸውም የከፊሉን ቂብላ ተከታይ አይደሉም ፡ ፡ ከዕውቀትም ( ከራዕይ ) ከመጣልህ በኋላ ዝንባሌያቸውን ብትከተል አንተ ያን ጊዜ ከበዳዮች ነህ ፡ ፡

then how can you avoid the punishment , if you disbelieve , on a day that will make the children grey-headed ( i.e. the day of resurrection ) ?
ብትክዱ ልጆችን ሸበቶዎች የሚያደርገውን ቀን ( ቅጣት ) እንዴት ትጠበቃላችሁ ፡ ፡

and if you fear that you will not be just towards orphan girls , marry the women whom you like – two at a time , or three or four ; then if you fear that you cannot keep two women equally then marry only one or the bondwomen you own ; this is closer to your not doing injustice .
በየቲሞችም ( ማግባት ) አለማስተካከላችሁን ብትፈሩ ( ዝሙትንና ከተወሰነላችሁ በላይ ማግባትንም ፍሩ ) ፡ ፡ ከሴቶች ለእናንተ የተዋበላችሁን ሁለት ሁለት ሦስት ሦስትም አራት አራትም አግቡ ፡ ፡ አለማስተካከልንም ብትፈሩ አንዲትን ብቻ ወይም እጆቻችሁ ንብረት ያደረጉትን ያዙ ፡ ፡ ይህ ወደ አለመበደል በጣም የቀረበ ነው ፡ ፡

do not befriend my and your enemy – you reveal secrets to them out of friendship whereas they disbelieve in the truth which has come to you ! it is they who remove the noble messenger and you from your homes , upon your believing in allah , your lord ; if you have come out to fight for my cause , and to gain my pleasure , then do not befriend them ; you send them secret messages of friendship – and i well know all what you hide and all what you disclose ; and whoever among you does it , has indeed strayed away from the right path .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ጠላቶቼንና ጠላቶቻችሁን ወዳጆች አድርገችሁ አትያዙ ፡ ፡ ከእውነቱ የመጣላችሁን ሃይማኖት በእርግጥ የካዱ ሲኾኑ ውዴታን ወደእነርሱ ታደርሳላችሁ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውንና እናንተን በአላህ በጌታችሁ ስላመናችሁ ( ከመካ ) ያወጣሉ ፡ ፡ በመንገዴ ለመታገልና ውዴታዬን ለመፈለግ የወጣችሁ እንደኾናችሁ ( ወዳጆች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ እኔ የምትደብቁትንና የምትገልጹትን ሁሉ የማውቅ ስኾን ወደእነርሱ በፍቅር ትመሳጠራላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ( ይህንን ) የሚሠራ ሰው ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ በእርግጥ ተሳሳተ ፡ ፡
