so hold allah in awe as much as you can , and listen and obey , and be charitable . this is for your own good .
አላህንም የቻላችሁትን የክል ፍሩት ፤ ትዕዛዙን ስሙም ፤ ታዘዙም ፤ ለግሱም ፤ ለነፍሶቻችሁ መልካምን ( ይሰጣችኋልና ) ፤ የነፍሱንም ንፍገት የሚጠበቅ ሰው እነዚያ እነሱ ፍላጎታቸውን የሚያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

do your duty to allah and fear him . seek the means of approach to him , and strive hard in his cause as much as you can .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡ ወደርሱም መቃረቢያን ( መልካም ሥራን ) ፈልጉ ፡ ፡ ትድኑ ዘንድም በእርሱ መንገድ ታገሉ ፡ ፡

have you not seen those who consider themselves pure ? it is indeed god who purifies whoever he pleases and none shall be wronged by as much as a hair 's breadth .
ወደእነዚያ ነፍሶቻቸውን ወደ ሚያጠሩት ( የሚያወድሱት ) አላየህምን አይደለም ፤ አላህ የሚፈልገውን ያጠራል ፡ ፡ የተምር ፍሬ ክር ያህልም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

he said , “ my lord , in as much as you have favored me , i will never be a supporter of the criminals . ”
« ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በእኔ ላይ በመለገስህ ይሁንብኝ ( ከስህተቴ እጸጸታለሁ ) ፤ ለአመጸኞችም ፈጽሞ ረዳት አልሆንም አለ ፡ ፡

so fear god as much as you can , and listen and obey , and spend in charity for your own good . he who is saved from his own avarice will be successful .
አላህንም የቻላችሁትን የክል ፍሩት ፤ ትዕዛዙን ስሙም ፤ ታዘዙም ፤ ለግሱም ፤ ለነፍሶቻችሁ መልካምን ( ይሰጣችኋልና ) ፤ የነፍሱንም ንፍገት የሚጠበቅ ሰው እነዚያ እነሱ ፍላጎታቸውን የሚያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

avoid suspicion as much ( as possible ) : for suspicion in some cases is a sin : and spy not on each other behind their backs . would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother ?
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

had the unbelievers had twice as much as the wealth of the whole earth in order to ransom themselves from the torment in the life hereafter , still their ransom would not have been accepted . for them there will be a painful torment .
እነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች በምድር ላይ ያለው ሁሉ ከእርሱም ጋር ብጤው ከትንሣኤ ቀን ቅጣት በእርሱ ሊበዡበት ለእነርሱ በኖራቸው ኖሮ ከእነሱ ተቀባይን ባላገኙ ነበር ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም አሳማሚ ቅጣት አላቸው ፡ ፡

god does not wrong anyone by as much as a grain 's weight . if there be a good deed , he will repay twofold , and will bestow out of his own bounty an immense reward .
አላህ የብናኝን ክብደት ያህል አይበድልም ፡ ፡ መልካም ሥራ ብትኾንም ይደራርባታል ፡ ፡ ከእርሱም ዘንድ ታላቅን ምንዳ ይሰጣል ፡ ፡

if i have a clear sign from my lord and he has provided me with good provision , i do not desire to go behind you , taking for myself that which i forbid you . i seek but to reform as much as i can , my help comes only from allah .
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ንገሩኝ ፤ ከጌታዬ በሆነ አስረጅ ላይ ብሆንና ከእርሱም የሆነን መልካም ሲሳይ ቢሰጠኝ ( በቅጥፈት ልቀላቅለው ይገባልን ) ከእርሱ ወደ ከለከልኳችሁም ነገር ልለያችሁ አልሻም ፡ ፡ በተቻለኝ ያክል ማበጀትን እንጂ አልሻም ( ለደግ ሥራ ) መገጠሜም በአላህ እንጂ በሌላ አይደለም ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ላይ ተመካሁ ፡ ፡ ወደእርሱም እመለሳለሁ ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

have they any share in the dominion ( of allah ) ? had that been so , they would never have granted people even as much as the speck on a date-stone .
በእውነቱ ለእነሱ ከንግሥናው ፋንታ አላቸውን ያን ጊዜ ለሰዎች በተምር ፍሬ ላይ ያለችውን ነጥብ ያህል አይሰጡም ነበር ፡ ፡

have you not seen those who boast of their righteousness , even though it is allah who grants righteousness to whomsoever he wills ? they are not wronged even as much as the husk of a date-stone ( if they do not receive righteousness ) .
ወደእነዚያ ነፍሶቻቸውን ወደ ሚያጠሩት ( የሚያወድሱት ) አላየህምን አይደለም ፤ አላህ የሚፈልገውን ያጠራል ፡ ፡ የተምር ፍሬ ክር ያህልም አይበደሉም ፡ ፡

and whoever does righteous deeds , whether male or female , while being a believer - those will enter paradise and will not be wronged , [ even as much as ] the speck on a date seed .
