thou knewest not what the scripture was , nor what the faith . but we have made it a light whereby we guide whom we will of our bondmen .
እንደዚሁም ወደ አንተ ከትእዛዛችን ሲኾን መንፈስን ( ቁርኣንን ) አወረድን ፡ ፡ መጽሐፉም እምነቱም ምን እንደኾነ የምታውቅ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ( መንፈሱን ) ከባሮቻችን የምንሻውን ሰው በእርሱ የምንመራበት ብርሃን አደረግነው ፡ ፡ አንተም ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ትመራለህ ፡ ፡

god pardon thee ! why gavest thou them leave , till it was clear to thee which of them spoke the truth , and thou knewest the liars ?
አላህ ከአንተ ይቅር አለ ፡ ፡ እነዚያ እውነተኛዎቹ ላንተ እስከሚገለጹልህና ውሸታሞቹንም እስከምታውቅ ድረስ ለነርሱ ( እንዲቀሩ ) ለምን ፈቀድክላቸው

and shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
አንቺንም በአንቺም ውስጥ የሚኖሩትን ልጆችሽን ወደ ታች ይጥላሉ፥ በአንቺ ውስጥም ድንጋይ በድንጋይ ላይ አይተዉም፥ የመጐብኘትሽን ዘመን አላወቅሽምና።

thou knewest not what the book was , nor belief ; but we made it a light , whereby we guide whom we will of our servants . and thou , surely thou shalt guide unto a straight path --
እንደዚሁም ወደ አንተ ከትእዛዛችን ሲኾን መንፈስን ( ቁርኣንን ) አወረድን ፡ ፡ መጽሐፉም እምነቱም ምን እንደኾነ የምታውቅ አልነበርክም ፡ ፡ ግን ( መንፈሱን ) ከባሮቻችን የምንሻውን ሰው በእርሱ የምንመራበት ብርሃን አደረግነው ፡ ፡ አንተም ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ትመራለህ ፡ ፡

and thus have we , by our command , sent inspiration to thee : thou knewest not ( before ) what was revelation , and what was faith ; but we have made the ( qur 'an ) a light , wherewith we guide such of our servants as we will ; and verily thou dost guide ( men ) to the straight way , -
