so that you would maintain justice .
በሚዛን ( ስትመዝኑ ) እንዳትበድሉ ፡ ፡

and they who carefully maintain their prayers -
እነዚያም እነሱ በስግደቶቻቸው ላይ የሚጠባበቁ የኸኑት ( አገኙ ) ፡ ፡

give just weight and do not skimp the scales .
መመዘንንም በትክክል መዝኑ ፡ ፡ ተመዛኙንም አታጉድሉ ፡ ፡

but he whose weight is light in the scale ,
ሚዛኖቹም የቀለሉበት ሰውማ ፤

or if he commands others to maintain piety ! ?
ወይም ( ፈጣሪውን ) በመፍራት ቢያዝ ፤

and establish the measures justly , nor decrease the due weight .
መመዘንንም በትክክል መዝኑ ፡ ፡ ተመዛኙንም አታጉድሉ ፡ ፡

and ( the clouds ) that bear heavy weight of water ;
ከባድ ( ዝናምን ) ተሸካሚዎች በኾኑትም ( ደመናዎች ) ፡ ፡

and he who has done an atom 's weight of evil shall see it .
የብናኝ ክብደት ያክልም ክፉን የሠራ ሰው ያገኘዋል ፡ ፡

and when they have to give by measure or weight to men , give less than due .
ለእነርሱም ( ለሰዎቹ ) በሰፈሩ ወይም በመዘኑላቸው ጊዜ የሚያጎድሉ ( ለኾኑት ) ፡ ፡

" maintain just measure in your business and do not cause loss to others .
« ስፍርን ሙሉ ፡ ፡ ከአጉዳዮቹም አትኹኑ ፡ ፡

የብናኝ ክብደት ያክልም ክፉን የሠራ ሰው ያገኘዋል ፡ ፡

ትክክለኛውም ሚዛን የዚያን ቀን ነው ፡ ፡ ሚዛኖቻቸው የከበዱላቸው ሰዎችም እነዚያ እነርሱ የፈለጉትን ያገኙ ናቸው ፡ ፡

is then my family of more weight with you than allah ? and you have cast him away behind your backs .
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ጎሳዎቼ በእናንተ ላይ ከአላህ ይልቅ የከበሩ ናቸውን ( አላህን ) ከኋላችሁ ወደ ጀርባ አድርጋችሁም ያዛችሁት ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በምትሠሩት ሁሉ ከባቢ ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡

who believe in the unseen , maintain the prayer , and spend out of what we have provided for them ;
ለነዚያ በሩቁ ነገር የሚያምኑ ሶላትንም ደንቡን ጠብቀው የሚሰግዱ ከሰጠናቸውም ሲሳይ የሚቸሩ ለኾኑት ፤

and give not short measure and weight . verily i see you in prosperity , and verily i fear for you the torment of a day encompassing
ወደ መድየንም ወንድማቸውን ሹዐይብን ( ላክን ) ፡ ፡ አላቸው « ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ሌላ ለናንተ አምላክ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም አታጉድሉ ፤ እኔ በጸጋ ላይ ሆናችሁ አያችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ እኔም በእናንተ ላይ የከባቢን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራለሁ ፡ ፡

and maintain the prayer , and give the zakat , and bow along with those who bow [ in prayer ] .
ሶላትንም ደንቡን ጠብቃችሁ ስገዱ ፡ ፡ ዘካንም ( ግዴታ ምጽዋትን ) ስጡ ፡ ፡ ( ለጌታችሁ ) ከአጎንባሾች ጋርም አጎንብሱ ፡ ፡

for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
የማይታየውን እንጂ የሚታየውን ባንመለከት፥ ቀላል የሆነ የጊዜው መከራችን የክብርን የዘላለም ብዛት ከሁሉ መጠን ይልቅ ያደርግልናልና፤ የሚታየው የጊዜው ነውና፥ የማይታየው ግን የዘላለም ነው።

and do not come near the property of the orphan , except with the best intentions , until he reaches maturity . and give full weight and full measure , equitably .
« የየቲምንም ገንዘብ ብርታቱን ( አካለ መጠን ) እስኪደርስ ድረስ በዚያች እርሷ መልካም በኾነች ኹኔታ እንጅ አትቅረቡ ፡ ፡ ስፍርንና ሚዛንንም በትክክሉ ሙሉ ፡ ፡ ነፍስን ችሎታዋን እንጂ አናስገድድም ፡ ፡ በተናገራችሁም ጊዜ በዘመዶቻችሁ ላይ ቢኾንም እንኳ ( እውነትን በመናገር ) አስተካክሉ ፡ ፡ በአላህም ቃል ኪዳን ሙሉ ፡ ፡ እነሆ ትገሰጹ ዘንድ በርሱ አዘዛችሁ ፡ ፡ »
