በዝርዮቹም ውስጥ ይመለሱ ዘንድ ( ባንድ አምላክ ማመንን ) ቀሪ ቃል አደረጋት ፡ ፡

ከዚያም ዘሮቹን ከተንጣለለ ፣ ከደካማ ውሃ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡

and ibrahim kept this declaration among his progeny , in order that they may desist .
በዝርዮቹም ውስጥ ይመለሱ ዘንድ ( ባንድ አምላክ ማመንን ) ቀሪ ቃል አደረጋት ፡ ፡

o progeny of those whom we bare with nuh : verily he was a bondman grateful .
እናንተ ከኑሕ ጋር ( በመርከቢቱ ) የጫናቸው ዘሮች ሆይ ! ( አላህን ተገዙ ) እርሱ በብዙ አመስጋኝ ባሪያ ነበርና ፡ ፡

and , his progeny , them we made the survivors ( i.e. shem , ham and japheth ) .
ዘሮቹንም እነርሱን ብቻ ቀሪዎች አደረግን ፤

and know ye that your possessions and your progeny are but a trial ; and that it is allah with whom lies your highest reward .
ገንዘቦቻችሁና ልጆቻችሁም ፈተና ብቻ መኾናቸውንና አላህም እሱ ዘንድ ታላቅ ምንዳ ያለው መኾኑን እወቁ ፡ ፡

and also some of their fathers and their progeny and their brethren , we chose them , and we guided them to a straight path .
ከአባቶቻቸውም ፣ ከዘሮቻቸውም ፣ ከወንድሞቻቸውም ( መራን ) ፡ ፡ መረጥናቸውም ፤ ወደ ቀጥታውም መንገድ መራናቸው ፡ ፡

and those who believe and whose progeny follow them in belief . we shall cause their progeny to join them , and we shall not diminish unto them aught of their own work .
እነዚያም ያመኑትና ዝርያቸውም በእምነት የተከተለቻቸው ዝርያቸውን በእነርሱ እናስጠጋለን ፡ ፡ ከሥራቸውም ምንም አናጎድልባቸውም ፡ ፡ ሰው ሁሉ በሠራው ሥራ ተያዢ ነው ፡ ፡

( on that day ) neither the riches nor the progeny of those who disbelieve will aught avail them with allah . they will be fuel for fire .
እነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ገንዘቦቻቸውና ልጆቻቸው ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም አያስጥሉዋቸውም ፡ ፡ እነዚያም እነርሱ የእሳት ማገዶዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

( to them ) and to their fathers , and progeny and brethren : we chose them , and we guided them to a straight way .
ከአባቶቻቸውም ፣ ከዘሮቻቸውም ፣ ከወንድሞቻቸውም ( መራን ) ፡ ፡ መረጥናቸውም ፤ ወደ ቀጥታውም መንገድ መራናቸው ፡ ፡

lo ! the riches and the progeny of those who disbelieve will not avail them aught against allah ; and such are rightful owners of the fire . they will abide therein .
እነዚያ የካዱት ሰዎች ገንዘቦቻቸውና ልጆቻቸው ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) እነርሱን ምንንም አያድኑዋቸውም ፡ ፡ እነዚያም የእሳት ጓዶች ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱ በእርስዋ ውስጥ ዘውታሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡

and make us submit , o lord , to your will , and our progeny a people submissive to you . teach us the way of worship and forgive our trespasses , for you are compassionate and merciful ;
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! ላነተ ታዛዦችም አድርገን ፡ ፡ ከዘሮቻችንም ላንተ ታዛዦች ሕዝቦችን ( አድርግ ) ፡ ፡ ሕግጋታችንንም አሳየን ፤ ( አሳውቀን ) ፡ ፡ በኛም ላይ ተመለስን ፤ አንተ ጸጸትን ተቀባዩ ሩኅሩኅ አንተ ብቻ ነህና ፡ ፡ »

and let them beware who , should they leave behind them a weakly progeny , would be afraid on their account ; let them , wherefore , fear allah , and says a proper saying .
እነዚያም ከኋላቸው ደካሞችን ዝርያዎች ቢተው ኖሮ በእነርሱ ላይ የሚፈሩ ( በየቲሞች ላይ ) ይጠንቀቁ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ይፍሩ ፡ ፡ ( ለተናዛዡ ) ትክክለኛንም ቃል ይናገሩ ፡ ፡

" our lord ! make of us muslims , bowing to thy ( will ) , and of our progeny a people muslim , bowing to thy ( will ) ; and show us our place for the celebration of ( due ) rites ; and turn unto us ( in mercy ) ; for thou art the oft-returning , most merciful .
« ጌታችን ሆይ ! ላነተ ታዛዦችም አድርገን ፡ ፡ ከዘሮቻችንም ላንተ ታዛዦች ሕዝቦችን ( አድርግ ) ፡ ፡ ሕግጋታችንንም አሳየን ፤ ( አሳውቀን ) ፡ ፡ በኛም ላይ ተመለስን ፤ አንተ ጸጸትን ተቀባዩ ሩኅሩኅ አንተ ብቻ ነህና ፡ ፡ »
