ለጣቂይቱ የምትከተላት ስትኾን ( ትቀሰቀሳላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

a day shall come whereon the quaking will quake ,

the day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion ,
ተርገፍጋፊይቱ ( ምድር ) በምትርገፈገፍበት ቀን ፤

o people , be conscious of your lord . the quaking of the hour is a tremendous thing .
እናንተ ሰዎች ሆይ ! ጌታችሁን ፍሩ የሰዓቲቱ እንቅጥቃጤ በጣም ከባድ ነገር ነውና ፡ ፡

and those who give what they give , their hearts quaking that they are returning to their lord --
እነዚያም የሚሰጡትን ነገር እነርሱ ወደ ጌታቸው ተመላሾች መኾናቸውን ልቦቻቸው የሚፈሩ ኾነው የሚሰጡት ፡ ፡

and moses chose seventy of his people for our place of meeting : when they were seized with violent quaking , he prayed : " o my lord ! if it had been thy will thou couldst have destroyed , long before , both them and me : wouldst thou destroy us for the deeds of the foolish ones among us ? this is no more than thy trial : by it thou causest whom thou wilt to stray , and thou leadest whom thou wilt into the right path . thou art our protector : so forgive us and give us thy mercy ; for thou art the best of those who forgive .
ሙሳም ከሕዝቦቹ ውስጥ ለቀጠሮዋችን ሰባን ሰዎች መረጠ ፡ ፡ ብርቱ የምድር እንቅጥቃጤ በያዘቻቸውም ጊዜ ሙሳ አለ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! በሻህ ኖሮ ከአሁን በፊት በአጠፋሃቸው ነበር ፡ ፡ እኔንም ( ባጠፋኸኝ ነበር ) ፡ ፡ ከእኛ ቂሎቹ በሠሩት ነገር ታጠፋናለህን እርሷ ( ፈተናይቱ ) ያንተ ፈተና እንጂ ሌላ አይደለችም ፡ ፡ በእርሷ የምትሻውን ታሳስታለህ ፡ ፡ የምትሻውንም ታቀናለህ ፡ ፡ አንተ ረዳታችን ነህና ለእኛ ምሕረት አድርግልን ፡ ፡ እዘንልንም ፡ ፡ አንተም ከመሓሪዎች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህ ፡ ፡ »
