በእርሱ ላይ በገቡና « ሰለም » ባሉ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ « ሰላም ያልታወቃችሁ ሕዝቦች ናችሁ ፤ » አላቸው ፡ ፡

« ወደ ፈርዖንም ኺዱ ፡ ፡ በሉትም ፡ - እኛ የዓለማት ጌታ መልክተኞች ነን ፡ ፡

so when they came to solomon , he said , " do you provide me with wealth ? but what allah has given me is better than what he has given you .
( መልክተኛው ) ሱለይማንንም በመጣው ጊዜ አለ « በገንዘብ ትረዱኛላችሁን አላህም የሰጠኝ ከሰጣችሁ የበለጠ ነው ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም እናንተ በገጸ በረከታችሁ ትደሰታላችሁ ፡ ፡ »

thereat they came to themselves and said [ to one another ] , ‘ indeed it is you who are the wrongdoers ! ’
ወደ ነፍሶቻቸውም ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ « እናንተ ( በመጠየቃችሁ ) በዳዮቹ እናንተው ናችሁም » ተባባሉ ፡ ፡

then we sent after him messengers to their peoples , and they came to them with clear proofs . but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before .
ከዚያም ከእርሱ በኋላ መልክተኞችን ወደየሕዝቦቻቸው ላክን ፡ ፡ በግልጽ ማስረጃዎችም መጧቸው ፡ ፡ ( ከመላካቸው ) በፊት በእርሱ ባስተባበሉበትም ነገር ፤ የሚያምኑ አልሆኑም ፡ ፡ እንደዚሁ በወሰን አላፊዎች ልቦች ላይ እናትማለን ፡ ፡

' and they ( came to ) think as ye thought , that allah would not raise up any one ( to judgment ) .
‹ እነርሱም አላህ አንድንም አይቀሰቅስም ማለትን እንደጠረጠራችሁ ጠረጠሩ ፡ ፡ ›

that was because they disbelieved their messengers when they came to them with clear signs , and so allah seized them . surely , he is strong , and stern in retribution .
ይህ ( መያዝ ) እነርሱ መልክተኞቻቸው በተዓምራቶች ይመጡባቸው ስለነበሩና ስለ ካዱ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ያዛቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ ኀያል ቅጣተ ብርቱ ነውና ፡ ፡

and you do not take revenge on us except because we have believed in the communications of our lord when they came to us ! our lord : pour out upon us patience and cause us to die in submission .
« የጌታችንም ተዓምራቶች በመጡልን ጊዜ ከማመናችን በቀር ከእኛ አትጠላም ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! በእኛ ላይ ትዕግስትን አፍስስ ፡ ፡ ሙስሊሞች ኾነን ግደለን ፡ ፡ »

and from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as appiiforum, and the three taverns: whom when paul saw, he thanked god, and took courage.
ከዚያም ወንድሞች ስለ እኛ ሰምተው እስከ አፍዩስ ፋሩስና ሦስት ማደሪያ እስከሚባለው ሊቀበሉን ወጡ፥ ጳውሎስም ባያቸው ጊዜ እግዚአብሔርን አመሰገነ ልቡም ተጽናና።

if they give the lie to you now , those that went before them also gave the lie to their messengers when they came to them with clear proofs , with scriptures , and with the illuminating book .
ቢያስተባብሉህም እነዚያ ከበፊታቸው የነበሩት በእርግጥ አስተባብለዋል ፡ ፡ መልክተኞቻቸው በግልጽ ማስረጃዎችን ፣ በጽሑፎችም ፣ አብራሪ በኾነ መጽሐፍም መጥተዋቸዋል ፡ ፡

so they went on until when they came to the people of a town , they asked them for food , but they refused to entertain them as guests . then they found in it a wall which was on the point of falling , so he put it into a right state .
ኼዱም ፡ ፡ ወደ አንዲት ከተማ ሰዎች በመጡም ጊዜ ነዋሪዎቿን ምግብን ጠየቁ ፡ ፡ ከማስተናገዳቸውም እምቢ አሉ ፡ ፡ በእርሷም ውስጥ ለመውደቅ የተቃረበን ግድግዳ አገኙ ፡ ፡ ( ኸድር ) አቆመውም ፡ ፡ ( ሙሳም ) « በሻህ ኖሮ በእርሱ ላይ ዋጋን በተቀበልክ ነበር » አለው ፡ ፡

and you do not resent us except because we believed in the signs of our lord when they came to us . our lord , pour upon us patience and let us die as muslims [ in submission to you ] . "
« የጌታችንም ተዓምራቶች በመጡልን ጊዜ ከማመናችን በቀር ከእኛ አትጠላም ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! በእኛ ላይ ትዕግስትን አፍስስ ፡ ፡ ሙስሊሞች ኾነን ግደለን ፡ ፡ »
