አላህን ሃይማኖትን ለእርሱ ብቻ አጥሪዎች ፣ ቀጥተኞች ኾነው ሊግገዙት ፣ ሶላትንም አስተካክለው ሊሰግዱ ዘካንም ሊሰጡ እንጅ ያልታዘዙ ሲኾኑ ( ተለያዩ ) ፡ ፡ ይህም የቀጥተኛይቱ ( ሃይማኖት ) ድንጋጌ ነው ፡ ፡

are men whom neither commerce nor trafficking diverts from the remembrance of god and to perform the prayer , and to pay the alms , fearing a day when hearts and eyes shall be turned about ,
አላህን ከማውሳትና ሶላትን ከመስገድ ዘካንም ከመስጠት ንግድም ሽያጭም የማያታልላቸው ልቦችና ዓይኖች በእርሱ የሚገላበጡበትን ቀን የሚፈሩ የኾኑ ሰዎች ( ያጠሩታል ) ፡ ፡

and appointed them to be leaders guiding by our command , and we revealed to them the doing of good deeds , and to perform the prayer , and to pay the alms , and us they served .
በትዕዛዛችንም ወደ በጎ ሥራ የሚመሩ መሪዎች አደረግናቸው ፡ ፡ ወደእነሱም መልካም ሥራዎችን መሥራትን ፣ ሶላትንም መስገድን ፣ ዘካንም መስጠትን አወረድን ፡ ፡ ለእኛ ተገዢዎችም ነበሩ ፡ ፡

then when he gave them of his bounty , they became niggardly [ refused to pay the sadaqah ( zakat or voluntary charity ) ] , and turned away , averse .
ከችሮታውም በሰጣቸው ጊዜ በእርሱ ሰሰቱ ፡ ፡ እነሱ ( ኪዳናቸውን ) የተዉ ኾነውም ዞሩ ፡ ፡

and they are ordered naught else than to serve allah , keeping religion pure for him , as men by nature upright , and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due . that is true religion .
