would any of you like to eat the disgusting dead flesh of your brother ? have fear of god ; god accepts repentance and is all-merciful .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

believers , abstain from most suspicion , some suspicion is a sin . neither spy nor backbite one another would any of you like to eat the flesh of his deadbrother ?
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

they said : ' salih , before this you were a source of hope to us . what , would you now forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped ?
« ሷሊህ ሆይ ! ከዚህ በፊት በእኛ ውስጥ ( መሪ ልትሆን ) በእርግጥ የምትከጅል ነበርክ ፡ ፡ አባቶቻችን የሚገዙትን ከመገዛት ትከለክለናለህን እኛም ወደርሱ ከምትጠራን ነገር በእርግጥ አወላዋይ በሆነ መጠራጠር ውስጥ ነን » አሉ ፡ ፡

o believers , eschew much suspicion ; some suspicion is a sin . and do not spy , neither backbite one another ; would any of you like to eat the flesh of his brother dead ?
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

he was of the jinn , so he transgressed the commandment of his lord . what ! would you then take him and his offspring for friends rather than me , and they are your enemies ?
ለመላእክትም ለአደም ስገዱ ባልናቸው ጊዜ ( የኾነውን አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ ወዲያውም ሰገዱ ፤ ኢብሊስ ብቻ ሲቀር ፡ ፡ ከጋኔን ( ጎሳ ) ነበር ፡ ፡ ከጌታውም ትእዛዝ ወጣ ፡ ፡ እርሱንና ዘሮቹን እነርሱ ለእናንተ ጠላቶች ሲኾኑ ከእኔ ላይ ረዳቶች አድርጋችሁ ትይዛላችሁን ለበዳዮች ልዋጭነቱ ከፋ !

say : ' what would you think if allah should make the day unceasing over you till the day of resurrection , what god , other than allah , shall bring you the night to sleep in . will you not see '
አያችሁን « አላህ በእናንተ ላይ ቀንን እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን ድረስ ዘውታሪ ቢያደርገው ከአላህ ሌላ በውስጡ የምታርፉበትን ሌሊት የሚያመጣላችሁ አምላክ ማን ነው ( ንገሩኝ ) አታስተውሉምን » በላቸው ፡ ፡

avoid suspicion as much ( as possible ) : for suspicion in some cases is a sin : and spy not on each other behind their backs . would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother ?
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

avoid excessive assumptions ; indeed assumption sometimes becomes a sin , and do not seek faults , and do not slander one another ; would any one among you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother ? so you will hate that !
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

but when he came to solomon he said , ' what , would you succour me with wealth , and what god gave me is better than what he has given you ? nay , but instead you rejoice in your gift !
( መልክተኛው ) ሱለይማንንም በመጣው ጊዜ አለ « በገንዘብ ትረዱኛላችሁን አላህም የሰጠኝ ከሰጣችሁ የበለጠ ነው ፡ ፡ ይልቁንም እናንተ በገጸ በረከታችሁ ትደሰታላችሁ ፡ ፡ »

o you who believe ! avoid most of suspicion , for surely suspicion in some cases is a sin , and do not spy nor let some of you backbite others . does one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother ?
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከጥርጣሬ ብዙውን ራቁ ፤ ከጥርጣሬ ከፊሉ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡ ነውርንም አትከታተሉ ፡ ፡ ከፊላችሁም ከፊሉን አይማ ፡ ፡ አንደኛችሁ የወንድሙን ስጋ የሞተ ኾኖ ሊበላው ይወዳልን ? ( መብላቱን ) ጠላችሁትም ፤ ( ሐሜቱንም ጥሉት ) ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ አላህ ጸጸትን ተቀባይ አዛኝ ነውና ፡ ፡

would any of you like to have a garden of palm trees and vines , with streams running in it , with all kinds of fruit for him therein , and old age were to strike him while he has weakly offspring ; whereupon a fiery hurricane were to hit it , whereat it lies burnt ? thus does allah clarify his signs for you so that you may reflect .
( ከእናንተ ) አንዳችሁ ለርሱ ከዘምባባና ከወይኖች በስርዋ ወንዞች የሚፈሱባት አትክልት ልትኖረው ፣ በውስጧም ለርሱ ከየፍሬው ሁሉ ሊኖረው እርጅናም ሊነካውና ለርሱ ደካማዎች ዝርያዎች ያሉት ሲኾን በውስጡ እሳት ያለበት ውርጭ ሊያገኛትና ልትቃጠል ይወዳልን እንደዚሁ አላህ አንቀጾችን ለእናንተ ያብራራል ፤ ልታስተነትኑ ይከጀላልና ፡ ፡

and we send the winds fertilizing ( to fill heavily the clouds with water ) , then caused the water ( rain ) to descend from the sky , and we gave it to you to drink , and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [ i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like ] .
ነፋሶችንም ( ደመናን ) ተሸካሚዎች አድርገን ላክን ፡ ፡ ከሰማይም ( ከደመና ) ዝናብን አወረድን ፡ ፡ እርሱንም አጠጣናችሁ ፡ ፡ እናንተም ለእርሱ አድላቢዎች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡
