እኛ እንደዚሁ መልካም ሠሪዎችን ሁሉ እንመነዳለን ፡ ፡

eat and drink pleasantly because of what you did .
« ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ዋጋ የምትደሰቱ ኾናችሁ ብሉ ፣ ጠጡም ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are gardens of serenity .
እነዚያ ያመኑና መልካሞችንም የሠሩ ለእነርሱ የጸጋ ገነቶች አሏቸው ፡ ፡

so those who believed and did good deeds , for them are forgiveness , and an excellent sustenance .
እነዚያም ያመኑ መልካም ሥራዎችንም የሠሩ ለእነርሱ ምህረትና ያማረ ሲሳይ አላቸው ፡ ፡

except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward .
ግን እነዚያ ያመኑት መልካሞችንም የሠሩት ለእነርሱ ተቆራጭ ያልኾነ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡

and you commited what you did , and you are ungrateful ! "
« ያችንም የሠራሃትን ሥራህን አልሠራህምን አንተም ከውለታ ቢሶቹ ነህ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

except those who patiently endured and did good deeds ; for them is forgiveness , and a great reward .
ግን እነዚያ የታገሱ መልካም ሥራዎችንም የሠሩ እነዚያ ለእነሱ ምሕረትና ታላቅ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡

indeed for those who believed and did good deeds , is a limitless reward .
እነዚያ ያመኑትና በጎ ሥራዎችን የሠሩት ለእነርሱ የማይቆረጥ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡

every soul must taste of death , and we try you with evil and with good , for ordeal . and unto us ye will be returned .
ነፍስ ሁሉ ሞትን ቀማሽ ናት ፡ ፡ ለመፈተንም በክፉም በበጎም እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ወደኛም ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and that there is not for man except that [ good ] for which he strives
ለሰውም ሁሉ የሠራው እንጅ ሌላ የለውም ፡ ፡

except those who believe and do good ; for them is a reward that shall never be cut off .
ግን እነዚያ ያመኑና መልካሞችን የሠሩ ለእነርሱ የማይቆረጥ ምንዳ አልላቸው ፡ ፡

and those who accepted faith and did good deeds – we shall indeed include them among the virtuous .
እነዚያንም ያመኑ ፤ መልካም ሥራዎችንም የሠሩ በደጋጎቹ ውስጥ በእርግጥ እናገባቸዋለን ፡ ፡

and indeed i am most oft forgiving for him who repented and accepted faith and did good deeds , and then remained upon guidance .
እኔም ለተጸጸተ ፣ ላመነም ፣ መልካምንም ለሠራ ፣ ከዚያም ለተመራ ሰው በእርግጥ መሓሪ ነኝ ፡ ፡

those who answered allah and the messenger after the wound had afflicted them , for those of them who did good and were cautious there is a great wage .
እነዚያ መቁሰል ካገኛቸው በኋላ ለአላህና ለመልክተኛው የታዘዙት ከእነሱ ለነዚያ በጎ ለሠሩትና ለተጠነቀቁት ታላቅ ምንዳ አላቸው ፡ ፡

except those who accepted faith , and did good deeds and urged one another to the truth – and urged one another to have patience .
እነዚያ ያመኑትና መልካሞችን የሠሩት ፣ በእውነትም አደራ የተባባሉት ፣ በመታገስም አደራ የተባባሉት ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡

come to believe in god and his apostle , and struggle in the cause of god , wealth and soul . this will be good for you , if you can understand .
( እርሷም ) በአላህና በመልክተኛው ታምናላችሁ ፣ በአላህ መንገድም በገንዘቦቻችሁ በነፍሶቻችሁም ትታገላላችሁ ፣ ይህ የምታውቁ ብትኾኑ ለእናንተ የተሻለ ነው ፡ ፡

( it will be said ) : ' eat and drink with a good appetite because of that which you did '
« ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ምክንያት ተደሳቾች ኾናችሁ ብሉ ፤ ጠጡም ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

and those who answered god and the messenger after the wound had smitten them - to all those of them who did good and feared god , shall be a mighty wage ;
እነዚያ መቁሰል ካገኛቸው በኋላ ለአላህና ለመልክተኛው የታዘዙት ከእነሱ ለነዚያ በጎ ለሠሩትና ለተጠነቀቁት ታላቅ ምንዳ አላቸው ፡ ፡

( it shall be said to them ) : ' eat and drink , with a good appetite , for all that you did '
« ትሠሩት በነበራችሁት ዋጋ የምትደሰቱ ኾናችሁ ብሉ ፣ ጠጡም ፤ » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

then prayed zachariah to his lord : " o lord , bestow on me offspring , virtuous and good , for you answer all prayers . "
እዚያ ዘንድ ዘከሪያ ጌታውን ለመነ ፡ ፡ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ከአንተ ዘንድ መልካም ዘርን ለኔ ስጠኝ አንተ ጸሎትን ሰሚነህና » አለ ፡ ፡
