অথবা তাদের কৃতকর ্ মের জন ্ যে সেগুলোকে ধ ্ বংস করে দেন এবং অনেককে ক ্ ষমাও করে দেন ।

unto allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth . he forgiveth whom he will , and punisheth whom he will .
আর মহাকাশমন ্ ডলে যা-কিছু আছে ও যা-কিছু আছে পৃথিবীতে সে-সবই আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র । তিনি যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করবেন পরিত ্ রাণ করবেন এবং যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করবেন শাস ্ তিও দেবেন । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ পরিত ্ রাণকারী , অফুরন ্ ত ফলদাতা ।

and allah 's is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth . he forgiveth whom he will , and punisheth whom he will .
আর মহাকাশমন ্ ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সার ্ বভৌমত ্ ব আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র । তিনি যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করেন পরিত ্ রাণ করেন এবং শাস ্ তি দেন যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করেন । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ পরম ক ্ ষমাশীল , অফুরন ্ ত ফলদাতা ।

knowest thou not that unto allah belongeth the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth ? he punisheth whom he will , and forgiveth whom he will .
তুমি কি জান না যে আল ্ লাহর নিমিত ্ তেই নভোমন ্ ডল ও ভূমন ্ ডলের আধিপত ্ য । তিনি যাকে ইচ ্ ছা শাস ্ তি দেন এবং যাকে ইচ ্ ছা ক ্ ষমা করেন । আল ্ লাহ সবকিছুর উপর ক ্ ষমতাবান ।

allah 's is whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth . he forgiveth whomsoever he listeth , and tormenteth whomsoever he listeth .
আর মহাকাশমন ্ ডলে যা-কিছু আছে ও যা-কিছু আছে পৃথিবীতে সে-সবই আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র । তিনি যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করবেন পরিত ্ রাণ করবেন এবং যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করবেন শাস ্ তিও দেবেন । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ পরিত ্ রাণকারী , অফুরন ্ ত ফলদাতা ।

and verily whoso is patient and forgiveth - lo ! that , verily , is ( of ) the steadfast heart of things .
অবশ ্ যই যে সবর করে ও ক ্ ষমা করে নিশ ্ চয় এটা সাহসিকতার কাজ ।

and allah 's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth . he forgiveth whomsoever he will and tormenteth whomsoever he will ; and allah is ever forgiving , merciful .
আর মহাকাশমন ্ ডলী ও পৃথিবীর সার ্ বভৌমত ্ ব আল ্ লাহ ্ ‌ র । তিনি যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করেন পরিত ্ রাণ করেন এবং শাস ্ তি দেন যাকে ইচ ্ ছা করেন । আর আল ্ লাহ ্ পরম ক ্ ষমাশীল , অফুরন ্ ত ফলদাতা ।

allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with him ; but he forgiveth anything else , to whom he pleaseth ; to set up partners with allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed .
নিঃসন ্ দেহে আল ্ লাহ তাকে ক ্ ষমা করেন না , যে লোক তাঁর সাথে শরীক করে । তিনি ক ্ ষমা করেন এর নিম ্ ন পর ্ যায়ের পাপ , যার জন ্ য তিনি ইচ ্ ছা করেন । আর যে লোক অংশীদার সাব ্ যস ্ ত করল আল ্ লাহর সাথে , সে যেন অপবাদ আরোপ করল ।

he forgiveth whomsoever he will and tormenteth whomsoever he will . and allah 's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and that which is in- between the twain , and unto him in the return .
আর ইহুদী ও খ ্ রীষ ্ টানরা বলে -- ''আমরা আল্লাহ্‌র সন্তান ও তাঁর প্রিয়পাত্র।’’ তুমি বলো -- ''তবে কেন তোমাদের অপরাধের জন্য তিনি তোমাদের শাস্তি দেন? না, যাদের তিনি সৃষ্টি করেছেন তোমরা তাদের মধ্যেকার মানুষ। তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছে করেন পরিত্রাণ করেন এবং যাকে ইচ্ছে করেন শাস্তি দেন।’’ আর আল্লাহ্‌রই মহাকাশমন্ডল ও পৃথিবীর সাম্রাজ্য এবং এই দুইয়ের মধ্যে যা আছে, আর তাঁরই দিকে প্রত্যাবর্তন।

allah forgiveth not ( the sin of ) joining other gods with him ; but he forgiveth whom he pleaseth other sins than this : one who joins other gods with allah , hath strayed far , far away ( from the right ) .
