কাজেই হয়ত বা তাদের পেছনে ঘুরে ঘুরে তোমার নিজেকে তুমি দুঃখে কাতর করে তুলবে যেহেতু তারা এই নতুন বাণীতে বিশ ্ বাস করছে না ।

have they not observed the government of the heavens and the earth , and all the things that god created , and that their time may have drawn near ? which message , besides this , will they believe in ?
তারা কি তাকায় না মহাকাশমন ্ ডল ও পৃথিবীর সাম ্ রাজ ্ যের প ্ রতি আর যা-কিছু আল ্ লাহ ্ সৃষ ্ টি করেছেন , আর হতে পারে তাদের নির ্ ধারিত কাল ঘনিয়ে এসেছে ? এর পরে আর কোন পর ্ যালোচনার দ ্ বারা তারা তবে বিশ ্ বাস করবে ?

the messengers came to them with clear signs , but they put their hands to their mouths saying , " we deny the message you have been sent with . we have grave doubts about what you are inviting us to do . "
তোমাদের কাছে কি তোমাদের পূর ্ ববর ্ তী কওমে নূহ , আদ ও সামুদের এবং তাদের পরবর ্ তীদের খবর পৌছেনি ? তাদের বিষয়ে আল ্ লাহ ছাড়া আর কেউ জানে না । তাদের কাছে তাদের পয়গম ্ বর প ্ রমানাদি নিয়ে আগমন করেন । অতঃপর তারা নিজেদের হাত নিজেদের মুখে রেখে দিয়েছে এবং বলেছে , যা কিছু সহ তোমাদেরকে প ্ রেরণ করা হয়েছে , আমরা তা মানি না এবং যে পথের দিকে তোমরা আমাদেরকে দাওয়াত দাও , সে সম ্ পর ্ কে আমাদের মনে সন ্ দেহ আছে , যা আমাদেরকে উৎকন ্ ঠায় ফেলে রেখেছে ।

each messenger said , " what if i should bring you better guidance than what you found your forefathers had ? " they replied , " we reject any message you have been sent with ! "
তিনি বলেছিলেন -- ''কী! যদিও আমি তোমাদের কাছে তার চাইতেও ভালো পথনির্দেশ নিয়ে এসেছি যার উপরে তোমরা তোমাদের পিতৃপুরুষদের পেয়েছিলে?’’ তারা বললে, ''তোমাদের যা দিয়ে পাঠানো হয়েছে আমরা তাতে নিশ্চয়ই অবিশ্বাসী।
