therefore, brethren, we were comforted over you in all our affliction and distress by your faith:
ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ငါတို့သည် အရာရာ၌ဆင်းရဲ၍ ခက်ခဲစွာခံရသည်တွင်၊ သင်တို့၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် သက်သာခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။

(for after all these things do the gentiles seek:) for your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

ထိုမှတပါး၊ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်အကြီးများနှင့် ပြည်သူပြည်သား ရှိသမျှတို့သည်၊ တပါးအမျိုးသား ရွံရှာဘွယ်ပြုသည်အတိုင်း၊ အလွန်ပြစ်မှားကြ၏။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့၌ ထာဝရဘုရား သန့်ရှင်းစေတော်မူသော ဗိမာန်တော်ကို ညစ်ညူးစေကြ၏။

and it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our god.
ထိုသိတင်းကို ရန်သူတို့သည်ကြား၍၊ ပတ်လည် ဝန်းကျင်၌နေသော တပါးအမျိုးသားအပေါင်းတို့သည် မြို့ရိုးကို မြင်သောအခါ၊ ရှက်ကြောက်ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုအမှုသည် ငါတို့၏ ဘုရားသခင့် အခွင့်နှင့်ပြီးကြောင်းကို ရိပ်မိကြ၏။

and all the people said unto samuel, pray for thy servants unto the lord thy god, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
လူအပေါင်းတို့က၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ကျွန်တို့သည် မသေရမည်ကြောင်း၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားအား ကိုယ်တော်ကျွန်တို့အဘို့ ဆုတောင်းတော်မူပါ။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ရှင်ဘုရင်ကို တောင်း သောအားဖြင့် အထက်အပြစ်များတို့အပေါ်မှာ ထပ်၍ ဒုစရိုက်ကို ပြုမိပါပြီဟု ရှမွေလအား တောင်း ပန်ကြ၏။

but we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
