အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တသလျက်နေပါ၏။

but ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the holy ghost,
ချစ်သူတို့၊ သင်တို့သည် မိမိတို့အလွန်သန့်ရှင်းသော ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအပေါ်မှာ မိမိတို့ကို တည်ဆောက် လျက်၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်အားဖြင့် ဆုတောင်း ပဌာနပြုလျက်၊

hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.
လမ်းခရီးတော်၌ အကျွန်ုပ်သွားစဉ်တွင် ခြေ မချော်စေခြင်းငှါ ထောက်မတော်မူပါ။

for i lift up my hand to heaven, and say, i live for ever.
ငါသည် အစဉ်အမြဲအသက်ရှင်ပေ၏ဟု ငါ့လက် ကို ကောင်းကင်သို့ချီ၍ ကျိန်ဆို၏။

he hath fenced up my way that i cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in my paths.
ငါမသွားနိုင်အောင် ငါ့ရှေ့မှာအဆီးအကာပြု၍၊ ငါသွားရာလမ်း၌ မှောင်မိုက်ကိုထားတော်မူပြီ။

rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, o lord, do i lift up my soul.
အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်ကို အကျွန်ုပ် တသပါသည်ဖြစ်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏ကျွန်သည် ဝမ်းမြောက် မည်အကြောင်း ပြုတော်မူပါ။

for the arrows of the almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of god do set themselves in array against me.
အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ပစ်တော်မူသော မြှားတို့သည် ငါ၌စွဲ၍၊ အဆိပ်အတောက်ဖြင့် ငါ့ဝိညာဉ်ကိုမွန်းစေ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်ပြတော်မူသော ကြောက်မက်ဘွယ်အရာတို့သည် ငါ့ရှေ့မှာ စီလျက်ရှိကြ၏။

when the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
ငါ့ကိုအငြိုးထားသော ရန်သူလူဆိုးတို့သည်၊ ငါ့အသားကို ကိုက်စားမည်ဟု လာကြသောအခါ၊ ခြေ တိုက်မိ၍ လဲကြ၏။

and it came to pass, as i lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.
ကျွန်ုပ်သည် ကျယ်သောအသံနှင့် အော်ဟစ် သောအခါ၊ သူသည် မိမိအဝတ်ကို စွန့်၍ ပြင်သို့ ထွက်ပြေးပါသည်ဟူသော စကားဖြင့် ကြားပြောလေ၏။

go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.
သို့သောကြောင့် ယခုသွား၍လုပ်ကြ။ ကောက်ရိုးကိုမပေးရ။ သို့သော်လည်း အုတ်ကိုပေးမြဲပေးရမည်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and it came to pass, when he heard that i lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.
ကျယ်ကျယ်အော်ဟစ်သံကို ကြားလျှင်၊ သူသည် မိမိအဝတ်ကိုစွန့်၍ ပြင်သို့ထွက်ပြေးသည်ဟုဆိုပြီးလျှင်၊

ထိုသူတို့သည် ငါစီရင်သောနေ့ရက်၌ ငါပိုင် ထိုက်သော ဘဏ္ဍာတော်ဖြစ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ အက၏အမှုကို ဆောင်သောသားကို အဘနှမြောသကဲ့သို့ ထိုသူတို့ကို ငါနှမြောမည်ဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေအရှင် ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။

and abner said again to asahel, turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should i smite thee to the ground? how then should i hold up my face to joab thy brother?
