ရွာဇနပုဒ်များသောပြည်၊ မြို့ရိုးမရှိ၊ တံခါး ကျင်နှင့်တံခါးမရှိ၊ စိုးရိမ်စရာအကြောင်းအလျှင်းမရှိ၊ ငြိမ်ဝပ်သောပြည်သားတို့ရှိရာသို့ ငါချီသွား၍၊

and i said, this is my infirmity: but i will remember the years of the right hand of the most high.
ထိုသို့ဆိုသော် ငါသည် ကိုယ်မိုက်ကြောင်းကို ဝန်ခံရ၏။ ဤအမှုကား၊ အမြင့်ဆုံးသော ဘုရား၏ လက်ျာလက်တော်နှင့် ပြုပြင်တော်မူခြင်းပေတည်း။

i will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: i will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
သင့်ရှေ့မှာ ငါသွား၍ မြင့်သောအရပ်ကို ညီစေ မည်။ ကြေးဝါတံခါးတို့ကို ချိုး၍၊ သံကန့်လန့်တို့ကို အပိုင်းပိုင်းဖြတ်မည်။

and all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, for i will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. thus his father wept for him.
သားသမီးအပေါင်းတို့သည်၊ အဘကို နှစ်သိမ့် စေခြင်းငှါ ကြိုးစားသော်လည်း၊ သူသည် နှစ်သိမ့်စေသော စကားကို နားမထောင်ဘဲ၊ ငါ့သားရှိရာ မရဏာနိုင်ငံသို့ စိတ်မသာညည်းတွားလျက် ဆင်းသက်တော့မည်ဟု ဆိုလေ၏။ ထိုသို့ယောသပ်အဘသည် သားကြောင့် ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းလျက် နေလေ၏။

and answered them after the advice of the young men, saying, my father made your yoke heavy, but i will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but i will chastise you with scorpions.
ခမည်းတော်သည် သင်တို့အပေါ်မှာ လေးသော ထမ်းဘိုးကိုတင်လေပြီ။ ငါသည်လည်း ထပ်၍တင်ဦးမည်။ ငါ့ခမည်းတော်သည် သင်တို့ကို ကြိမ်လုံးနှင့် ရိုက်လေပြီ။ ငါသည်လည်း ကင်းမြီးကောက်နှင့် ရိုက်ဦးမည်ဟု ကြမ်းတမ်းစွာ ပြန်ပြောတော်မူ၏။

and it came to pass on the morrow, that moses said unto the people, ye have sinned a great sin: and now i will go up unto the lord; peradventure i shall make an atonement for your sin.

and balaam said unto balak, stand by thy burnt offering, and i will go: peradventure the lord will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me i will tell thee. and he went to an high place.
ဗာလမ်ကလည်း၊ မင်းကြီးပူဇော်သော မီးရှို့ရာ ယဇ်နားမှာရပ်လော့။ ငါသည် အခြားတပါးသို့ သွားပါ မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါ့ကို ကြိုဆိုခြင်းငှါ ကြွလာ ကောင်းကြွလာတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ့အား ပြတော်မူသမျှကို မင်းကြီးအား ငါကြားပြောပါမည်ဟု ဗာလက်မင်းအား ဆိုပြီးမှ ကုန်းတခုပေါ်သို့ တက်သွား၏။
