but in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctines the commandments of men.

not giving heed to jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
ⲚⲤⲈϮ ⲚϨⲐⲎⲞⲨ ⲀⲚ ⲚϨⲀⲚϢϤⲰ ⲘⲘⲈⲦⲒⲞⲨⲆⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲨⲪⲰⲚϨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲀⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲐⲘⲎⲒ.

by this we know that we love the children of god, when we love god, and keep his commandments.
ϦⲈⲚ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲦⲈⲚⲈⲢⲀⲄⲀⲠⲀⲚ ⲚⲚⲒϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲈϢⲰⲠ ⲀⲚϢⲀⲚⲘⲈⲚⲢⲈ ⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ

and they were both righteous before god, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the lord blameless.

here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of god, and the faith of jesus.

until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the holy ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
ϢⲀ ⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲀϤϨⲞⲚϨⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒⲀⲠⲞⲤⲦⲞⲖⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲞⲦⲠⲞⲨ ⲀⲨⲞⲖϤ ⲈⲦⲪⲈ.

and jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments is, hear, o israel; the lord our god is one lord:
ⲀϤⲈⲢⲞⲨⲰ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ϪⲈ ϮϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲦⲈ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲤⲖ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲠⲈⲔⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲀⲒ ⲠⲈ.

and he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. and hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the spirit which he hath given us.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲀⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲚⲈϤⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ϤϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲐⲞϤ ϨⲰϤ ϤϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲀⲒ ⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ϤϢⲞⲠ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲠⲚⲈⲨⲘⲀⲈⲦⲀϤⲦⲎⲒϤ ⲚⲀⲚ.

and this is love, that we walk after his commandments. this is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲦⲈ ϮⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲚⲈϤⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲦⲈ ϮⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲒⲤϪⲈⲚ ϨⲎ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ

having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
ⲪⲚⲞⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲆⲞⲄⲘⲀ ⲀϤⲔⲞⲢϤϤ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈϤⲤⲰⲚⲦ ⲘⲠⲒⲂ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲚϦⲎⲦϤ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲰⲦ ⲘⲂⲈⲢⲒ ⲈϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲒⲢⲎⲚⲎ.

thou knowest the commandments, do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, defraud not, honour thy father and mother.
ⲚⲒⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲔⲤⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϦⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲚⲰⲒⲔ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϬⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲈⲢⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϪ ⲘⲠⲈⲢϤⲰϪⲒ ⲀⲢⲒⲦⲒⲘⲀⲚ ⲘⲠⲈⲔⲒⲰⲦ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲦⲈⲔⲘⲀⲨ.

he that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my father, and i will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈ ⲚⲀⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲚⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈⲐⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ⲪⲎ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲐⲘⲈⲒ ⲘⲘⲞⲒ ⲈϤⲈⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦϤ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲀⲒⲰⲦ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲈⲒⲈⲘⲈⲚⲢⲒⲦϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲒⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚϨⲦ ⲈⲢⲞϤ.

that thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our lord jesus christ:
ⲈⲐⲢⲈⲔⲀⲢⲈϨ ⲈⲦⲀⲒⲈⲚⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲈⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲀϬ ⲚⲒ ⲈⲔⲞⲒ ⲚⲀⲦⲢⲒⲔⲒ ϢⲀ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲪⲞⲨⲞⲚϨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲘⲠⲈⲚϬⲞⲒⲤ ⲒⲎⲤⲞⲨⲤ ⲠⲬⲢⲒⲤⲦⲞⲤ.
