जब उनके पास उनके आगे से और पीछे से पैग़म्बर आए कि ख़ुदा के सिवा किसी की इबादत न करो तो कहने लगे कि अगर हमारा परवरदिगार चाहता तो फ़रिश्ते नाज़िल करता और जो देकर तुम लोग भेजे गए हो हम तो उसे नहीं मानते

and what allah gave as booty to his messenger from them , for which you made no expedition with either cavalry or camelry . but allah gives power to his messengers over whomsoever he wills . and allah is able to do all things .
और अल्लाह ने उनसे लेकर अपने रसूल की ओर जो कुछ पलटाया , उसके लिए न तो तुमने घोड़े दौड़ाए और न ऊँट । किन्तु अल्लाह अपने रसूलों को जिसपर चाहता है प्रभुत्व प्रदान कर देता है । अल्लाह को तो हर चीज़ की सामर्थ्य प्राप्ति है

and there are those who put up a mosque by way of mischief and infidelity - to disunite the believers - and in preparation for one who warred against allah and his messenger aforetime . they will indeed swear that their intention is nothing but good ; but allah doth declare that they are certainly liars .
और जिन्होने नुकसान पहुंचाने और कुफ़्र करने वाले और मोमिनीन के दरमियान तफरक़ा डालते और उस शख़्स की घात में बैठने के वास्ते मस्जिद बनाकर खड़ी की है जो ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल से पहले लड़ चुका है ज़रूर क़समें खाएगें कि हमने भलाई के सिवा कुछ और इरादा ही नहीं किया और ख़ुदा ख़ुद गवाही देता है

and that which allah gave as spoil unto his messenger from them , ye urged not any horse or riding - camel for the sake thereof , but allah giveth his messenger lordship over whom he will . allah is able to do all things .
जो माल ख़ुदा ने अपने रसूल को उन लोगों से बे लड़े दिलवा दिया उसमें तुम्हार हक़ नहीं क्योंकि तुमने उसके लिए कुछ दौड़ धूप तो की ही नहीं , न घोड़ों से न ऊँटों से , मगर ख़ुदा अपने पैग़म्बरों को जिस पर चाहता है ग़लबा अता फरमाता है और ख़ुदा हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है

so they defeated them by permission of allah , and david killed goliath , and allah gave him the kingship and prophethood and taught him from that which he willed . and if it were not for allah checking people by means of others , the earth would have been corrupted , but allah is full of bounty to the worlds .
फिर तो उन लोगों ने ख़ुदा के हुक्म से दुशमनों को शिकस्त दी और दाऊद ने जालूत को क़त्ल किया और ख़ुदा ने उनको सल्तनत व तदबीर तम्द्दुन अता की और इल्म व हुनर जो चाहा उन्हें गोया घोल के पिला दिया और अगर ख़ुदा बाज़ लोगों के ज़रिए से बाज़ का दफाए न करता तो तमाम रुए ज़मीन पर फ़साद फैल जाता मगर ख़ुदा तो सारे जहाँन के लोगों पर फज़ल व रहम करता है

and there are those who have taken a mosque to cause harm , disbelief , and to divide the believers , and as a place of ambush for those who fought allah and his messenger before . they swear : ' we desired nothing but good ' , but allah bears witness that they are liars .
और जिन्होने नुकसान पहुंचाने और कुफ़्र करने वाले और मोमिनीन के दरमियान तफरक़ा डालते और उस शख़्स की घात में बैठने के वास्ते मस्जिद बनाकर खड़ी की है जो ख़ुदा और उसके रसूल से पहले लड़ चुका है ज़रूर क़समें खाएगें कि हमने भलाई के सिवा कुछ और इरादा ही नहीं किया और ख़ुदा ख़ुद गवाही देता है
