और उसके खाने की यह विधि है; कि कमर बान्धे, पांव में जूती पहिने, और हाथ में लाठी लिए हुए उसे फुर्ती से खाना; वह तो यहोवा का पर्ब्ब होगा।

o prophet ! say to those of the captives who are in your hands : if allah knows anything good in your hearts , he will give to you better than that which has been taken away from you and will forgive you , and allah is forgiving , merciful .
ऐ रसूल जो कैदी तुम्हारे कब्जे में है उनसे कह दो कि अगर तुम्हारे दिलों में नेकी देखेगा तो जो तुम से छीन लिया गया है उससे कहीं बेहतर तुम्हें अता फरमाएगा और तुम्हें बख्श भी देगा और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

do they say , ‘he has fabricated a lie against allah’ ? if so , should allah wish he would set a seal on your heart , and allah will efface the falsehood and confirm the truth with his words . indeed he knows well what is in the breasts .
क्या ये लोग ने ख़ुदा पर झूठा बोहतान बाँधा है तो अगर होता तो ख़ुदा चाहता तो तुम्हारे दिल पर मोहर लगा देता और ख़ुदा तो झूठ को नेस्तनाबूद और अपनी बातों से हक़ को साबित करता है वह यक़ीनी दिलों के राज़ से ख़ूब वाक़िफ है

o prophet , say to whoever is in your hands of the captives , " if allah knows good in your hearts , he will give you better than what was taken from you , and he will forgive you ; and allah is forgiving and merciful . "
ऐ रसूल जो कैदी तुम्हारे कब्जे में है उनसे कह दो कि अगर तुम्हारे दिलों में नेकी देखेगा तो जो तुम से छीन लिया गया है उससे कहीं बेहतर तुम्हें अता फरमाएगा और तुम्हें बख्श भी देगा और ख़ुदा तो बड़ा बख्शने वाला मेहरबान है

but you thought that the messenger and the believers would never return to their families , ever , and that was made pleasing in your hearts . and you assumed an assumption of evil and became a people ruined . "
" नहीं , बल्कि तुमने यह समझा कि रसूल और ईमानवाले अपने घरवालों की ओर लौटकर कभी न आएँगे और यह तुम्हारे दिलों को अच्छा लगा । तुमने तो बहुत बुरे गुमान किए और तुम्हीं लोग हुए तबाही में पड़नेवाले । "
