allah beareth witness - and also the angles and those endued with knowledge that there is no god but he, the maintainer of equity: there is no god but he, the mighty, the wise.
アッラーはかれの外に神がないことを立証なされた。天使たちも正義を守る知識を授った者もまた（それを証言する）。偉力ならびなく英明なかれの外に，神はないのである。

he it is who created you from a single soul, and he created therefrom his spouse that he might find repose in her. then when he covereth her she beareth a light burthen and fareth about there with; then when she groweth heavy the twain call upon allah their lord: if thou vouchsafest us a goodly child, we shall surely be of the thankful.
かれこそは，一個の魂（アーダム）からあなたがたを創り，互いに慰安を得るため，その妻を創られた御方であられる。かれがかの女と交わると，かの女は体内に軽い荷を負ったがそれでもかの女は（安易に）往来していた。そのうち重さが加わるようになると，かれらは両人の主，アッラーに祈って（言う）。「もしあなたが良い子をわたしたちに御授けになれば，わたしたちはきっと感謝を捧げます。」
