and not a sign cometh unto them of the signs of their lord but that therefore they have been backsliders.
(بێ باوه‌ڕان) هیچ به‌ڵگه‌و موعجیزه‌یه‌کی په‌روه‌ردگاریان بۆ نایه‌ت پشتی تێنه‌که‌ن و ڕووی لێ وه‌رنه‌گێڕن.

هیچ ئایه‌ت و به‌ڵگه و نیشانه‌یه‌کیان له ئایه‌ت و به‌ڵگه‌کانی په‌روه‌ردگاریان بۆ نایه‌ت که پشتی تێ نه‌که‌ن و ڕووی لێ وه‌رنه‌گێڕن.

and there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the compassionate but they are wont to be there from backsliders.
هیچ یاد خستنه‌وه و ئامۆژگاریه‌کی گۆیا له خوای میهره‌بانه‌وه بۆیان نه‌هاتووه‌، پشتیان تێ نه‌کردبێت و سه‌رپێچیان لێ نه‌کردبێت.

hast thou not observed those vouchsafed a portion of the book called to the book of allah that it may judge between them? then a party of them turn away and they are backsliders
ئایا نابینی ئه‌و که‌سانه‌ی به‌شێک له کتێبی ئاسمانیان پێدراوه کاتێک بانگ ده‌کرێن بۆ لای کتێبی خوا (ته‌ورات) تا فه‌رمانڕه‌وایی بکات له نێوانیاندا، پاشان ده‌سته‌یه‌کیان پشت هه‌ڵده‌که‌ن و له کاتێکدا ئه‌وان سه‌رپێچیکه‌رن.

and had allah known in them any good he would surely have made them hearken; and even if he made them hear, they would surely turn away as backsliders.
خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر خوا خێری تیادا به‌دی بکردنایه‌، ئه‌وه وای لێده‌کردن که حه‌ق و ڕاستی ببیستن، خۆ ئه‌گه‌ر حه‌قیشیان پێ ببیستنایه (که ئاماده‌نین بۆ وه‌رگرتنی) ئه‌وه هه‌ر پشت له به‌رنامه‌ی خوا ده‌که‌ن له‌کاتێکدا ئه‌وان هه‌میشه نه‌یارن.

we created not the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain save with truth, and for a term stated. and those who disbelieve are from that whereof they are warned backsliders.
ئێمه ئاسمانه‌کان و زه‌وی و ئه‌م هه‌موو شتانه‌ی نێوانمان دروست نه‌کردووه‌، ته‌نها له‌سه‌ر بنچینه‌ی حه‌ق و ڕاستی نه‌بێت، بۆ کاتێکی دیاریکراویش، که‌چی بێ باوه‌ڕان پشت هه‌ڵده‌که‌ن له‌و ئاگاداری و بێدارکردنه‌وه‌یه‌

and (remember) when we took a covenant from the children of israel, (saying): worship none but allah (alone) and be dutiful and good to parents, and to kindred, and to orphans and al-masakin (the poor), [tafsir at-tabari, vol. 10, page 158 (verse 9:60)] and speak good to people [i.e. enjoin righteousness and forbid evil, and say the truth about muhammad peace be upon him], and perform as-salat (iqamat-as-salat), and give zakat. then you slid back, except a few of you, while you are backsliders. (tafsir al-qurtubi, vol. 2, page 392).
یادی ئه‌و نیعمه‌ته بكه‌نه‌وه كاتێك په‌یمانمان وه‌رگرت له‌نه‌وه‌ی ئیسرائیل كه‌جگه له‌خوا كه‌سی تر نه‌په‌رستن و له‌گه‌ڵ دایك و باوكدا چاكه‌كار بن، هه‌روه‌ها له‌گه‌ڵ خزمان و هه‌تیوان و هه‌ژارانیشداو گوفتاری چاك و جوان ڕوو به خه‌ڵكی بڵێن، هه‌روه‌ها نوێژه‌كانتان به‌چاكی ئه‌نجام بده‌ن و زه‌كاتیش بده‌ن، پاشان ئێوه (له‌جیاتی گوێڕایه‌ڵی) پشتتان تێكرد، جگه له‌كه‌مێكتان نه‌بێت، له‌كاتێكدا زۆربه‌تان (له‌و هه‌موو ئامۆژگارییه به‌سوودانه‌) ڕوو وه‌رده‌چه‌رخێنن و پشتی تێده‌كه‌ن.
