ދެން ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އޭގެފަހުގައި މަރުވާނެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

then we appointed you leaders in the land after them to see how you behaved.
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ބިމުގައި خليفة އިން ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަންތައްކުރަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯ ބެއްލެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

then we made you successors in the land after them so that we may see how you act.
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ބިމުގައި خليفة އިން ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަންތައްކުރަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯ ބެއްލެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

then we made you successors on earth after them, to see how you would behave.
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ބިމުގައި خليفة އިން ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަންތައްކުރަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯ ބެއްލެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

do you see how he disbelieved and turned away?
ތިބާ خبر ދީ ބަލާށެވެ! އޭނާ ދޮގުކޮށް ފުރަގަސްދިންނަމަވެސް ހެއްޔެވެ؟

now we have appointed you as their successors in the earth to see how you act.
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ބިމުގައި خليفة އިން ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަންތައްކުރަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯ ބެއްލެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

we have made you their successors in the land so that we could see how you behaved.
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ބިމުގައި خليفة އިން ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަންތައްކުރަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯ ބެއްލެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and [then] you did your deed which you did, and you were of the ungrateful."
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު (ތިމަން ކޮށްދިން ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް) ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ حال، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެ ކުރެއްވިކަމެއް ކުރެއްވީމުއެވެ.

that i may direct you to your lord and then you hold him in awe?'”
އަދި ކަލޭގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އަހުރެން މަގު ދެއްކުމަށްވެސް މެއެވެ. އެއީ (އެކަލާނގެއަށް) ކަލޭ ބިރުވެތިވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

after them we made you their successors in the earth, so that we might see how you would do.
ދެން އެއުރެންގެ ފަހުން ބިމުގައި خليفة އިން ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލެއްވީމެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކަންތައްކުރަނީ ކޮންފަދައަކުންތޯ ބެއްލެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

god originates creation, and then will revert it, then you will go back to him.
(ނެތުމުގެތެރެއިން) خلق ތަކުން އަލަށް އުފައްދަވައި، ދެން އަލުން އެ إعادة ކުރައްވަނީ اللَّه އެވެ. ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން رجوع ކުރައްވާހުށީ އެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

you spent many years of your life among us and then you committed that deed of yours. you are very ungrateful indeed."
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު (ތިމަން ކޮށްދިން ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް) ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ حال، ކަލޭގެފާނު އެ ކުރެއްވިކަމެއް ކުރެއްވީމުއެވެ.

"were not my verses (this quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?"
(އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ آية ތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކިޔަވައިދެވޭ ކަމުގައި ނުވޭހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެ آية ތައް ދޮގުކުރާކަމުގައި ވީމުއެވެ.

do you feel secure that he who is in the heaven will not loose against you a squall of pebbles then you shall know how was my warning.
ނުވަތަ އުޑުގައިވާ ކަލާނގެ (އެބަހީ: މަތިވެރިވެގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ހިލައިގެ ވާރޭ ފޮނުއްވައިފާނޭކަމާމެދު (ބިރެއްނެތި) أمان ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إنذار ކުރެއްވުންވަނީ، ކޮންފަދައަކުންކަން ނިކަންހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގޭނެތެވެ.

for surely if they prevail against you they would stone you to death or force you back to their religion, and then you will never succeed.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ خبر އެނގިއްޖެނަމަ، ގަލުން ތަޅައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަރައިފާނެތެވެ. ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންގެ دين އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވައްދައިފާނެތެވެ. އޭރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދުވަހަކުވެސް ނުދިނޭނެތެވެ.

ނުވަތަ އުޑުގައިވާ ކަލާނގެ (އެބަހީ: މަތިވެރިވެގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ހިލައިގެ ވާރޭ ފޮނުއްވައިފާނޭކަމާމެދު (ބިރެއްނެތި) أمان ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ إنذار ކުރެއްވުންވަނީ، ކޮންފަދައަކުންކަން ނިކަންހުރެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެނގޭނެތެވެ.

and if any of your wives slips away from you to the unbelievers, and then you retaliate, give those whose wives have gone away the like of what they have expended. and fear god, in whom you believe.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަނބިންކުރެ މީހަކު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދޫކޮށް كافر ންގެ ގާތަށް ހިނގައްޖެނަމަ، ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނގުރާމަކޮށް (غنيمة ގެ މުދާ ލިބުމުން) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން، އެއުރެންގެ އަނބިން ގޮސްފައިވާ މީހުންނަށް، އެއުރެން ރަނުގެ ގޮތުގައި ހޭދަކުރިފަދަ އެއްޗެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެ غنيمة އިން) ދޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަލާނގެއަށް إيمان ވެގެންވާ (ކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައިވާ) اللَّه އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ!

do you feel secure that he who is in heaven will not cause the earth to sink beneath you and then begin to quake?
އުޑުގައިވާ ކަލާނގެ (އެބަހީ: މަތިވެރިވެގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާއިގެން ބިންގަނޑު ގަންބަވައިގެންފާނެ ކަމާމެދު (ބިރެއްނެތި) أمان ކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ތިބީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، އެހާރުން، ބިންގަނޑު ތެޅިފޮޅިގަންނާނެތެވެ.

do they not see how allah originates the creation, and then brings it back? that is an easy matter for allah.
އަދި اللَّه، خلق ތަކުން ފުރަތަމަ އުފެއްދެވިގޮތާއި ދެން އެއަށްފަހު އަލުން (ދިރުއްވައި) إعادة ކުރައްވާގޮތް އެއުރެންނަކަށް ނުފެނޭ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންތަކަކީ، اللَّه އަށް ދާދި ފަސޭހަ ކަމެކެވެ.

and do not incline towards the wrong-doers lest the fire might seize you and you will have none as your protector against allah; and then you will not be helped from anywhere.
އަދި އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީހުންގެ ފަރާތަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކުޑަކޮށްވެސް ނުލެނބޭށެވެ! ފަހެ، (އެ ހިނދުން) ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގައި ބީހިދާނެތެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ފިޔަވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެހީތެރިވާނޭ އެއްވެސް ފަރާތެއް ނެތެވެ. ދެން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަކަށް نصر އެއްވެސް ނުލިބޭނެތެވެ.
