when the beautiful horses were paraded before him in the evening.
(އެއްދުވަހެއްގެ) ހަވީރުކޮޅުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އެބަހީ: سليمان ގެފާނު) ބެއްލެވުމަށް، ދުވާއިރު ހަލުވި، ހުއްޓި ތިބޭއިރު ހަމަހިމޭން އަސްތައް ހުށަހެޅުނުހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

we subjected the mountains to exalt (me) with him in the evening and at sunrise,
ހަމަކަށަަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެކަލޭގެފާނަށް ފަރުބަދަތައް خدمة ތެރި ކުރެއްވީމެވެ. އެތަކެތި، އެކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހުގައި ހަވީރާއި، ހެނދުނުގައި تسبيح ދަންނަވަތެވެ.

and remember thou the name of thy lord in the morning and in the evening.
އަދި ހެނދުނާއި، ހަވީރު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ اسم ފުޅު ހަނދުމަކުރައްވާށެވެ!

glory belongs to god all the time, in the evening and in the morning.
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރޭގަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ވަންނަހިނދުގައްޔާއި، ފަތިހުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވަންނަހިނދު، اللَّه އަށް تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކުރާށެވެ!

so indeed i call to witness the evening twilight,
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ރަތްވިލާ ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

so extol god when the evening comes and the day dawns,
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރޭގަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ވަންނަހިނދުގައްޔާއި، ފަތިހުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވަންނަހިނދު، اللَّه އަށް تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކުރާށެވެ!

how we pour down rain in abundance,
ބޯކޮށް އޮހިގެން އަންނަގޮތުގައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފެން އޮއްސެވީމެވެ.

his is the praise in the heavens and on earth, and in the evening, and when you reach midday.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައި އެންމެހާ تعريف އާއި ثناء މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. އަދި އަނދިރިވަމުން އަންނަ ވަގުތުގައްޔާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މެންދުރުގެ ތެރެއަށް ވަންނަހިނދުގައި (اللَّه އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކުރާށެވެ!)

so exalted is allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރޭގަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ވަންނަހިނދުގައްޔާއި، ފަތިހުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ވަންނަހިނދު، اللَّه އަށް تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކުރާށެވެ!

and you find beauty in them as you drive them to pasture in the morning and as you drive them back home in the evening;
އެ ތަކެތި ހަވީރު (ނިދާތަނަށް) ގެންނަ ހިނދުގައްޔާއި، ހެނދުނު (ހުއިހައްޕަން) ނެރޭހިނދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި އެ ތަކެތީގައި ރީތިކަމެއްވެއެވެ.

when there were brought to him in the evening (horses) still when standing, swift when running--
(އެއްދުވަހެއްގެ) ހަވީރުކޮޅުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނު (އެބަހީ: سليمان ގެފާނު) ބެއްލެވުމަށް، ދުވާއިރު ހަލުވި، ހުއްޓި ތިބޭއިރު ހަމަހިމޭން އަސްތައް ހުށަހެޅުނުހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ!

and glorify him both in the mornings and in the evenings.
އަދި ހެނދުނާއި، ހަވީރު އެކަލާނގެއަށް تسبيح ކިޔައި އުޅޭށެވެ!

that you may believe in god and his messenger and succour him, and reverence him, and that you may give him glory at the dawn and in the evening.
(އެއީ) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް إيمان ވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެއަށް نصر ވެރިވުމަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެއަށް މާތްކޮށްހިތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެއަށް ހެނދުނާއި، ހަވީރު ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تسبيح ދެންނެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

and remember your lord within yourself, humbly and fearfully, and quietly, in the morning and the evening, and do not be of the neglectful.
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ހިތްޕުޅުން ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދުމަކުރައްވާށެވެ! މަޑުމޮޅިވެ، ބިރުވެތިވާ حال ގައެވެ. ބަސްބުނުމުގެ ތެރެއިން އަޑުހަރުކުރުމަށްވުރެ މަޑުންނެވެ. ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރުގެ ވަގުތު ތަކުގައެވެ. އަދި غافل ވެގެންވާ މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ކަލޭގެފާނު ވެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and unto allah falleth prostrate whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, as do their shadows in the morning and the evening hours.
އަދި އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައިވާހާ ބަޔަކާއި، އެއުރެންގެ ހިޔަނިތައްވެސް، ރުހުމުގައްޔާއި، ނުރުހުމުގައި، ހެނދުނާއި ހަވީރު، اللَّه އަށް (ކިޔަމަންވެ) سجدة ކުރެތެވެ.
