and to be one of those who believe and urge one another to steadfastness and compassion.
ދެން إيمان ވެ، އަދި ކެތްތެރިވުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް، އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް رحم ބެހެއްޓުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް އުޅުނުމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އޭނާ ވާނެތެވެ.

and then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.
ދެން إيمان ވެ، އަދި ކެތްތެރިވުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް، އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް رحم ބެހެއްޓުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް އުޅުނުމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އޭނާ ވާނެތެވެ.

so we desired that their lord might give them in his place one better than him in purity and nearer to having compassion.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު އެދިވަޑައިގަތީ، އެ ދެމީހުންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ، އެކުއްޖާއަށްވުރެ ހެޔޮވެގެންވާ صالح، އަދި އޯގާތެރިކަންބޮޑު ކުއްޖަކު އޭނާގެ ބަދަލުގައި އެދެމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވުމަށެވެ.

and, then besides this, he be one of those who believed, and enjoined upon one another steadfastness and enjoined upon one another compassion.
ދެން إيمان ވެ، އަދި ކެތްތެރިވުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް، އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް رحم ބެހެއްޓުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް އުޅުނުމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އޭނާ ވާނެތެވެ.

and of mankind is he who would sell himself, seeking the pleasure of allah; and allah hath compassion on (his) bondmen.
އަދި اللَّه ގެ ރުހިވޮޑިގަތުން އެދި (އެކަލާނގެއަށް) ތިމާގެ نفس ދޫކޮށްލާ މީހުންވެސް މީސްތަކުންގެ ތެރެއިން ވެއެވެ. اللَّه އީ، އަޅުތަކުންނާމެދު، ނުހަނު އޯގާވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

another of his signs is that he created mates of your own kind of yourselves so that you may get peace of mind from them, and has put love and compassion between you. verily there are signs in this for those who reflect.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހަމަތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نفس ތަކުން އަނބިން ހެއްދެވިކަމީ، އެކަލާނގެ ކުޅަދުންވަންތަކަމުގެ ހެކިތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންވާ ކަމެކެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފަރާތުން ހަމަހިމޭންކަން ލިބިގަތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި ލޯތްބާއި، އޯގާވެރިކަން ލެއްވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފިކުރު ހިންގާ ބަޔަކަށް އެކަމުގައި ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and of his signs is that he created for you mates from among yourselves, so that you may find tranquility in them; and he planted love and compassion between you. in this are signs for people who reflect.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ހަމަތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نفس ތަކުން އަނބިން ހެއްދެވިކަމީ، އެކަލާނގެ ކުޅަދުންވަންތަކަމުގެ ހެކިތަކުގެ ތެރެއިންވާ ކަމެކެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފަރާތުން ހަމަހިމޭންކަން ލިބިގަތުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މެދުގައި ލޯތްބާއި، އޯގާވެރިކަން ލެއްވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފިކުރު ހިންގާ ބަޔަކަށް އެކަމުގައި ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

your lord is self-sufficient, full of compassion. if he wills, he can put you away and cause whomever he wills to succeed you just as he has produced you from the seed of another people.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، ފުދިވޮޑިގެންވާ، رحمة ގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ. އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނެތިކުރައްވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ފަހަށް، އެކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ ބަޔަކު ފޮނުއްވައިފާހުށްޓެވެ. އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެހެން قوم އެއްގެ ދަރިކޮޅުން އުފެއްދެވި ފަދައިންނެވެ.

then will he be of those who believe, and enjoin patience, (constancy, and self-restraint), and enjoin deeds of kindness and compassion.
ދެން إيمان ވެ، އަދި ކެތްތެރިވުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް، އަދި މީސްތަކުންނަށް رحم ބެހެއްޓުމަށް އެކަކު އަނެކަކަށް وصية ކޮށް އުޅުނުމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އޭނާ ވާނެތެވެ.

and make yourself submissively gentle to them with compassion, and say: o my lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when i was) little.
އަދި އޯގާވެރިވުމުގެގޮތުން، ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ ފިޔަ، ތިބާ އެ ދެމީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ތިރިކޮށްލާށެވެ! އަދި ބުނާށެވެ! އަޅުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޯއެވެ! ކުޑަކުއްޖަކު ކަމުގައި މިއަޅާވީދުވަހު، އެދެމީހުން މިއަޅާ ބަލައިބޮޑުކުރި ފަދައިން، އެ ދެމީހުންނަށް رحمة ލައްވައިފާނދޭވެ!
