and who preserve their trusts and their covenant
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެއުރެންގެ أمانة ތަކަށާއި އެއުރެންގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and those who keep their pledges and their covenant,
އަދި، އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ أمانة ތަކަށާއި، އެއުރެންގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers.
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެއުރެންގެ أمانة ތަކަށާއި އެއުރެންގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

(those) who keep their trusts and their covenant,
އަދި، އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ أمانة ތަކަށާއި، އެއުރެންގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and those who are faithful to their trusts and their covenant
އަދި، އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ أمانة ތަކަށާއި، އެއުރެންގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and those who are keepers of their trusts and their covenant,
އަދި އެއުރެންނީ އެއުރެންގެ أمانة ތަކަށާއި އެއުރެންގެ عهد ތަކަށް ރައްކާތެރިވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

those who fulfil the covenant of allah, and violate not the bond.
އެއުރެންނަކީ، اللَّه އަށް ވެފައިވާ وعد ފުއްދާ، އަދި ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد އުވައިނުލާ މީހުންނެވެ.

those who fulfil the promise of allah and do not break the covenant,
އެއުރެންނަކީ، اللَّه އަށް ވެފައިވާ وعد ފުއްދާ، އަދި ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد އުވައިނުލާ މީހުންނެވެ.

they who are true to their bond with god and never break their covenant;
އެއުރެންނަކީ، اللَّه އަށް ވެފައިވާ وعد ފުއްދާ، އަދި ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد އުވައިނުލާ މީހުންނެވެ.

nay, but whoso fulfils his covenant and fears god, god loves the godfearing.
އެހެންނަކުންނޫނެވެ! އެމީހެއްގެ عهد އެމީހަކު ފުރިހަމަޔަށް އަދާކޮށް، تقوى ވެރިވެއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، تقوى ވެރިންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެންވެެތެވެ.

an acquittal, from god and his messenger, unto the idolaters with whom you made covenant:
(މިއީ) مشرك ންގެ ތެރެއިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން معاهدة އެއްކޮށް އެ معاهدة އުވާލާފައިވާ ބަޔަކުގެ ކިބައިން اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާ ބަރީއަވެގެންވާކަމުގެ އެންގެވުމެކެވެ.

and purchase not a small gain at the cost of allah's covenant. verily!
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، اللَّه ގެ عهد އަށް ކުޑަ އަގެއް ނުގަންނާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނަކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައިވާ އެއްޗެއް އެއީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެންމެ ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ އެއްޗެކެވެ.

has he known the unseen or has he taken a covenant from the most beneficent (allah)?
އޭނާއަށް غيب އެނގުނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ رحمن ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން عهد އެއް ހިފީހެއްޔެވެ؟

do you have a covenant with us which allows you to do whatever you want until the day of judgment?
ނުވަތަ قيامة ދުވަހާ ޖެހެންދެން ކަށަވަރުވެ، ދެމިއޮންނަ عهد ތަކެއް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ވަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން حكم ކުރާ ގޮތްތައްހުރީ، ހަމަ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށެވެ.

and how could you take it while you have gone in unto each other and they have taken from you a solemn covenant?
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެތަކެތި އަތުލަނީ ކޮންފަދަޔަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެއްބަޔަކުވަނީ އަނެއްބަޔަކާއެކު އެއްދާންކޮށްފައެވެ. އަދި، އެކަނބަލުންވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން ގަދަވެގެންވާ عهد ހިފާފައެވެ.

and how could ye take it when ye have gone in unto each other, and they have taken from you a solemn covenant?
ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެތަކެތި އަތުލަނީ ކޮންފަދަޔަކުން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން އެއްބަޔަކުވަނީ އަނެއްބަޔަކާއެކު އެއްދާންކޮށްފައެވެ. އަދި، އެކަނބަލުންވަނީ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން ގަދަވެގެންވާ عهد ހިފާފައެވެ.

but allah loves only those who fulfil their covenant and fear allah. truly allah loves the god-fearing.
އެހެންނަކުންނޫނެވެ! އެމީހެއްގެ عهد އެމީހަކު ފުރިހަމަޔަށް އަދާކޮށް، تقوى ވެރިވެއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، تقوى ވެރިންދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެންވެެތެވެ.

did i not take a covenant from you that you shall not worship the devil? undoubtedly, he is your open enemy.”
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شيطان އާއަށް އަޅުކަން ނުކުރުމަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އަމުރުނުކުރައްވަން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އޭނާޔަކީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށްހުރި، ފާޅުވެގެންވާ عداوة ތެރިޔެކެވެ.

and we did not find in most of them any (faithfulness to) covenant, and we found most of them to be certainly transgressors.
އަދި އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުން، އެއްވެސް عهد އެއްގައި (ހިފަހައްޓައިގެން) ވާތީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެކެވޮޑިއެއް ނުގަންނަވަމެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންކުރެ ގިނަމީހުންނީ، فاسق ން ކަމުގައިވާތީ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެކެވޮޑިގެންވަމެވެ.

'children of israel, remember my favor i have bestowed upon you. fulfill my covenant, and i will fulfill your covenant with you.
އޭ إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި نعمة ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ عهد ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ފުއްދާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: توراة ގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އަންގަވާފައިވާ އެންގެވުންތަކަށް ކިޔަމަންވެ، އެގޮތުގެމަތިން عمل ކުރާށެވެ!) އޭރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ عهد ފުއްދަވާހުށީމެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ކިޔަމަންގަތް އަޅުންނަށް ދެއްވާނެކަމަށް އަންގަވާފައިވާ ހެޔޮ ޖަޒާ ދެއްވާހުށީމެވެ.) އަދި ހަމައެކަނި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބިރުވެތިވާށެވެ!
