ޒަމާން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

and when he thinks it is the time of departure
އަދި އެއީ ވަކިވުން ކަމުގައި يقين ކޮށްފި ހިނދެވެ.

and he bethinketh that it is the time of parting.
އަދި އެއީ ވަކިވުން ކަމުގައި يقين ކޮށްފި ހިނދެވެ.

by the time (of the advent of islam),
ޒަމާން ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.

shall be gathered to the appointed time of a known day.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިސްވެދިޔަ މީހުންނާއި، ފަހުން އަންނާނޭ މީހުންނީ، އެނގިގެންވާ ދުވަހެއްގެ ކަނޑައަޅުއްވާފައިވާ ވަގުތަކަށް އެއްކުރައްވާނޭ ބަޔަކުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

are going to be assembled on the appointed time of a day known.
ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އިސްވެދިޔަ މީހުންނާއި، ފަހުން އަންނާނޭ މީހުންނީ، އެނގިގެންވާ ދުވަހެއްގެ ކަނޑައަޅުއްވާފައިވާ ވަގުތަކަށް އެއްކުރައްވާނޭ ބަޔަކުކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and he will conclude that it was (the time) of parting;
އަދި އެއީ ވަކިވުން ކަމުގައި يقين ކޮށްފި ހިނދެވެ.

and the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
އަދި އެއީ ވަކިވުން ކަމުގައި يقين ކޮށްފި ހިނދެވެ.

or the feeding in times of famine
ނުވަތަ ބަނޑުހައިހޫނުކަން ފެތުރިފައިވާ ދުވަހެއްގައި ކާންދިނުމެވެ.

how many a generation have we destroyed afore them, and they cried when there was not time of fleeing.
އެއުރެންގެކުރިން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކިތައްކިތައް أمّة ހަލާކުކުރެއްވިން ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ (އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب އައިހިނދު) އެހީއަށްއެދި އެއުރެން ގޮވޫއެވެ. (އެހެނެއްކަމަކު) އެ وقت އަކީ، ސަލާމަތްވާންދާނެ ތަނެއްއޮތް وقت އެއްނޫނެވެ.

for his is the praise in the heavens and the earth, -- and at nightfall and the time of noon.
އުޑުތަކާއި، ބިމުގައި އެންމެހާ تعريف އާއި ثناء މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ އެކަލާނގެއަށެވެ. އަދި އަނދިރިވަމުން އަންނަ ވަގުތުގައްޔާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މެންދުރުގެ ތެރެއަށް ވަންނަހިނދުގައި (اللَّه އަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން تسبيح ކިޔައި ނަމާދުކުރާށެވެ!)

we have destroyed many generations after the time of noah. your lord is all knowing and well aware of the sins of his servants.
نوح ގެފާނަށްފަހު، ކިތައްކިތައް جيل ގެ މީހުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަލާކުކުރައްވައި، ނެތިކުރެއްވިންހެއްޔެވެ؟ އެކަލާނގެ އަޅުތަކުންގެ ފާފަތަކުގެ خبر، މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ (އަދި) މޮޅަށް ބައްލަވާވޮޑިގެންވާ ކަލަކު ކަމުގައިވުމަށް ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ފުދެތެވެ.

and if relatives and orphans and the needy are present at the time of disbursement, give them something from it and speak to them with kindness.
(ތަރިކަ މުދާ) ބަހާތަނަށް (އެ މުދަލުން ނުވާ) ގާތްތިމާގެ މީހުންނާއި، يتيم ންނާއި، مسكين ން حاضر ވެއްޖެނަމަ، (އެ މުދާ ބެހުމުގެ ކުރިން) އެއުރެންނަށް އެއިން އެތިކޮޅެއް ދޭށެވެ! އަދި، އެއުރެންނަށް ހެޔޮބަސް ބުނާށެވެ!

[the time of] their account has approached for the people, while they are in heedlessness turning away.
މީސްތަކުންނަށް އެއުރެންގެ (عمل ތަކުގެ) ހިސާބު ބެއްލެވުމުގެ ވަގުތު ގާތްވެއްޖެއެވެ. އެއުރެން غافل ވެ (އެކަމުން) އެއްކިބާވެގެންވާ حال ގައެވެ.

and it is allah who has ordained the night as a garment for you, and the sleep as a repose of death, and the day as the time of return to life.
އެކަލާނގެއީ، ރޭގަނޑު ނިވަލެއްކަމުގައި، އަދި ނިދުމަކީ އަރާމެއްކަމުގައި ލައްވައި، އަދި ދުވާލަކީ، ދިރިއުޅުން ހޯދުމަށް އުޅޭވަގުތެއްކަމުގައި ލެއްވި ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and when we appointed a time of forty nights with musa, then you took the calf (for a god) after him and you were unjust.
އަދި موسى ގެފާނަށް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ސާޅީސް ރޭގެ ميعاد އެއް ކަނޑައެޅުއްވިހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! ދެން އެއަށްފަހު (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަނިޔާވެރިވާ حال ގައި ގެރިއަކީ إله އަކު ކަމުގައި ހަދައިގެން އުޅުނީމުއެވެ.

and if the debtor is in difficulty, give him respite till the time of ease; and your foregoing the entire debt from him is still better for you, if only you realise.
އަދި، (ދަރަނިވެރިޔާއަކީ) އަތްމަތި ދަތި މީހަކު ކަމުގައިވާނަމަ، ފަހެ، (އެމީހާއަށް) ތަނަވަސްކަމެއް ލިބެންދެން (އޭނާއަށް) مهلة ދޭ ހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެ ދަރަނީން) صدقات ކުރުން (އެބަހީ: އެ ދަރަނި މާފުކުރުން) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް (އެކަން) އެނގޭ ކަމުގައި ވާނަމައެވެ.

allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those who have not died, in their sleep. then he retains those for whom he has ordained death and releases the others until a specified time.
نفس ތައް މަރުވާހިނދު، އެ نفس ތަކުގެ ފުރާނަތަކާއި، މަރުނުވެ ނިދާވަގުތުގައި ނިދާމީހުންގެ ފުރާނަތައް ހިއްޕަވަނީ اللَّه އެވެ. ދެން މަރުވުމަށް ކަނޑައަޅުއްވައިފިމީހެއްގެ ފުރާނަ، އެކަލާނގެ ހިފަހައްޓަވަތެވެ. އަދި އެނޫންމީހުންގެ ފުރާނަ، ކަނޑައެޅިގެންވާ މުއްދަތަކަށް (ހަށިތަކަށް) ފޮނުއްވަތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެކަންތަކުގައި ފިކުރުކުރާ ބަޔަކަށް ހެކިތަކެއްވާކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and when at the time of fighting he made the disbelievers seem few to you, and you as few in their sight, in order for allah to conclude the matter that must be done; and towards allah is the return of all matters.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (ދެ لشكر) ބައްދަލުވީހިނދު، އެކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ލޯތަކަށް އެއުރެން މަދު މީސްކޮޅެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި، ދައްކަވައި އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ލޯތަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން މަދުކުރެއްވިހިނދު، ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! އެއީ އެކަލާނގެ ނިޔާކުރައްވާފައިވާ ކަމެއް ނިމިގެން ދިޔުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އެންމެހާ ކަންތައް رجوع ކުރައްވާހުށީ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.
