(އެއީ) އުރެދުމުގައި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ މީހުންނަށްޓަކައި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން ފާހަގަލައްވާފައިވާ ހިލައެވެ.

and why do you have an excessive love of riches?
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގަދަވެގެންވާ ލޯތްބަކުން، މުދަލަށް ލޯބިކުރަމުއެވެ.

ruin is for every great slanderer, excessive sinner.
ދޮގުހަދާ، ފާފަވެރި ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށް ހަލާކާއި ގެއްލުން ހުށްޓެވެ.

nor ever listen to any excessive oath maker, ignoble person.
އަދި ގިނަގިނައިން ހުވާކޮށްހަދާ، އިހާނަތްތެރިކަން ލިބިގެންވާ ކޮންމެ މީހަކަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!

and that our foolish one has been saying about allah an excessive transgression.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގެ ތެރެއިން جاهل ކަންބޮޑު މީހާ، اللَّه އާމެދު حق ން އެއްކިބާވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަސްބުނާކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

they will recline therein on couches and they will find neither excessive heat nor cold.
އެތާނގައި އެއުރެން ދާންތަކުގެ މަތީގައި ލެނގިލައިގެން ތިބޭ حال ގައެވެ. އެތާނގައި އަވީގެ ހޫނެއް، ނުވަތަ ގަދަފިންޏެއްވިޔަސް އެއުރެން ނުދެކޭނެތެވެ.

in fact, the unbelievers have doubts because of excessive involvement in worldly affairs.
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެން شك ކަމެއްގައި ކުޅެކުޅެ ތިބެތެވެ.

“you lust after men rather than women. you are an excessive people.”
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން شهوانى ގޮތުން، އަންހެނުން ދޫކޮށް، ފިރިހެނުންނާ ގާތްވަމުއެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ (ފާފަކުރުމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަޔަކީމުއެވެ.

allah destroys usury and increases charity; and allah does not like any ungrateful, excessive sinner.
اللَّه، رِبا އުނިކުރައްވައި، އޭގެ بركات ނެތިިކުރައްވައެވެ. އަދި، صدقات އިތުރު ކުރައްވައެވެ. (އެބަހީ: ދުނިޔޭގައި އޭގެ بركات އިތުރު ކުރައްވައި، آخرة ގައި އޭގެ ދަރުމަ ގިނަގުނަ ކުރައްވައެވެ.) އަދި، ފާފަވެރި، ކޮންމެ كافر އަކު ދެކެ، اللَّه ލޯބިވެ ވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

the excessive gathering (of increase and boasting) occupied you (from worshipping and obeying)
(މުދަލާއި ދަރިން (ގިނަކަމަށް އެކަކުއަނެކަކަށް فخر ވެރިވެ އުޅުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނެއްތައި (مشغول ކޮށްފިއެވެ.

and do not plead on behalf of those who deceive themselves; indeed allah does not like any treacherous, excessive sinner.
އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް خيانة ތެރިވާ މީހުންގެ ފަރާތުން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ޖަދަލު ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ފާފަވެރިވެ خيانة ތެރިވާ މީހަކު ދެކެ اللَّه ލޯބިވެވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

'o our lord' both said, 'we fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent'
އެ ދެބޭކަލުން ދެންނެވިއެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޯއެވެ! އޭނާ އަޅަމެންގެ މައްޗަށް (عقوبات ދިނުމަށް) އަވަސްވެގަނެ، ނުވަތަ އަނިޔާވެރިވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ހިނގައިދާނެކަމަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅަމެން ބިރުގަނެތެވެ.

eat of the good things we have provided for you, but do not be excessive therein, lest my wrath descends upon you. he upon whom my wrath descends has fallen.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ދެއްވި حلال ތަކެތިން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިއުޅޭށެވެ! އެކަމުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ނުދާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭރުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކޯފާ އަތުވެދާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ކޯފާ އަތުވެއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެމީހަކު ވެއްޓި ހަލާކުވެ ހިނގައްޖެއެވެ.

o children of adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. indeed, he likes not those who commit excess.
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، ނަމާދުކުރާ ކޮންމެ ހިނދެއްގައިމެ، ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ހިފާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިބޮއި އުޅޭށެވެ! އަދި إسراف ނުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسراف ކުރާ މީހުންދެކެ އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެ ވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

children of adam, dress well when attending the mosques, eat and drink but do not be excessive for god does not love those who are excessive (in what they do).
އޭ آدم ގެދަރިންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، ނަމާދުކުރާ ކޮންމެ ހިނދެއްގައިމެ، ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ހިފާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކައިބޮއި އުޅޭށެވެ! އަދި إسراف ނުކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، إسراف ކުރާ މީހުންދެކެ އެކަލާނގެ ލޯބިވެ ވޮޑިގެނެއް ނުވެތެވެ.

reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in paradise there is no sun and no moon).
އެތާނގައި އެއުރެން ދާންތަކުގެ މަތީގައި ލެނގިލައިގެން ތިބޭ حال ގައެވެ. އެތާނގައި އަވީގެ ހޫނެއް، ނުވަތަ ގަދަފިންޏެއްވިޔަސް އެއުރެން ނުދެކޭނެތެވެ.

and be patient with those who call to their lord in the morning and evening, desiring his face. and do not turn your eyes away from them desiring the good things of this life, nor obey he whose heart we have made neglectful of our remembrance; so that he follows his own lust, and his affair has become excessive.
އަދި އެއުރެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ وجه ފުޅު އެދިގެން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ހެނދުނާއި، ހަވީރު دعاء ކޮށް އަޅުކަންކޮށްއުޅޭ މީހުންނާއެކު، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ نفس ހިފަހައްޓަވައި، ކެތްކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން އެދިވަޑައިގެން، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ލޯފުޅު، އެއުރެން ފިޔަވައި ފަހަނަޅައި ދިޔަނުދެއްވާށެވެ! އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދުމަކުރުމުން، އެމީހެއްގެ ހިތް غافل ކުރައްވައި، އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ އަމިއްލަ އެދުމަށް تبع ވެ، އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ ކަންތައް (ނުބައިކަމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ މީހަކަށް، ކަލޭގެފާނު ކިޔަމަންވެ ވަޑައިނުގަންނަވާށެވެ!
