އަދި، އެއުރެން كافر ވުމުގެ ސަބަބުންނާއި، އަދި އެއުރެން مريم ގެފާނުގެ މައްޗަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ بهتان ދޮގެއް ބުނުމުގެ ސަބަބުންމެއެވެ.

whoever is faithless shall face the consequences of his faithlessness, and those who act righteously only prepare for their own souls,
كافر ވި މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ كافر ކަން އޮންނާނީ، އޭނާގެ މައްޗަށެވެ. އަދި صالح عمل ކުޅަމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ نفس ތަކަށްޓަކައި އެއުރެން މަގު ހޯދައެވެ.

do not befriend your fathers and brothers if they prefer faithlessness to faith. those of you who befriend them—it is they who are the wrongdoers.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައިންބަފައިންނާއި، އެއްބަނޑުއެއްބަފާ މީހުން (ވިޔަސް) އެއުރެން إيمان ކަމަށްވުރެ ބޮޑަށް، كافر ކަމަށް ލޯބިކުރާނަމަ، އެއީ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އެހީތެރި، އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައި ނުހިފާށެވެ! އަދި އެއުރެންނަކީ، އެހީތެރި އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން ބަލާމީހުން (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ، ހަމަ، އަނިޔާވެރިންނެވެ.

as for those who are faithless, let their faithlessness not grieve you. to us will be their return, and we will inform them about what they have done.
އަދި كافر ވިމީހާ، އޭނާގެ كافر ކަމުން ކަލޭގެފާނު ހިތާމަވެރިކުރުވިޔަ ނުދެއްވާށެވެ! އެއުރެން އެނބުރި رجوع ވާހުށީ، ހަމަ ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ. ފަހެ، އޭރުން އެއުރެން ކުރި عمل ތަކުގެ خبر ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް އަންގަވާހުށީމެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ހިތްތަކުގައިވާހާ ކަމެއް މޮޅަށް ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

if they break their pledge after giving their word and revile your faith, fight these specimens of faithlessness, for surely their oaths have no sanctity: they may haply desist.
އަދި އެއުރެން عهد ކުރުމަށްފަހު، އެއުރެންގެ ހުވާތައް އުވާލައި، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދީނަށް عيب ބަސް ބުނެއުޅެނީނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން كافر ކަމުގެ ބޮޑުންނާ ހަނގުރާމަކުރާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ހުވަޔަކީ، އެއުރެންނަށް އެއްވެސް އެއްޗެއްނޫނެވެ. (ހަނގުރާމަ ކުރަންވީ) އެއުރެން އެކަންތައް ހުއްޓާލާތޯއެވެ.

should he comply with you in many matters, you would surely suffer. but allah has endeared faith to you and made it appealing in your hearts, and he has made hateful to you faithlessness, transgression and disobedience.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ތެރޭގައި اللَّه ގެ رسول އާ ހުންނެވިކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ކަންތައްތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން ގިނަކަންތަކުގައި އެކަލޭގެފާނު ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކިޔަމަންވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ގެއްލުން ލިބިއްޖައީހެވެ. އަދި އެހެނެއްކަމަކު اللَّه، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން إيمان ކަމަށް ލޯބިޖައްސަވައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައި އެ إيمان ކަން ޒީނަތްތެރިކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި كافر ކަމާއި، فاسق ކަމާއި، އުރެދުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުރުހުންތެރިކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ، ހަމަ ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and remember we took your covenant and we raised above you (the towering height) of mount (sinai): (saying): "hold firmly to what we have given you, and hearken (to the law)": they said:" we hear, and we disobey:" and they had to drink into their hearts (of the taint) of the calf because of their faithlessness. say: "vile indeed are the behests of your faith if ye have any faith!"
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ކިބައިން ކަށަވަރުވެގެންވާ عهد ހިއްޕަވައި، އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް طور ފަރުބަދަ އުފުއްލެވިހިނދު ހަނދުމަކުރާށެވެ! (އެހިނދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް އެންގެވީމެވެ.) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެއްވި އެއްޗެއްގައި، (އެބަހީ: ފޮތުގައި) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ގަދަޔަށް ހިފަހައްޓާށެވެ! އަދި (ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ކުރެވޭ أمر ތައް) ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އަހާށެވެ! އެއުރެން ދެންނެވޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެން (ތިޔަ ބަސްފުޅު) އަހައި (ތިޔަ أمر ފުޅަށް) ނުކިޔަމަންތެރިވެ އުރެދިއްޖައީމުއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންގެ كافر ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، ގެރިއަށް އަޅުކަންކުރުމުގެ ލޯބި އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައިވަނީ ވަރުގަދައަކަށް ހިފައިފައެވެ. ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! (ތިޔަބުނާހެން) ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނީ، إيمان ވާ ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި ވަނީނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ إيمان ކަން، އެކަމަކަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް أمر ކުރާ ކަމެއްގެ ނުބައިކަން ބޮޑުކަމާއެވެ!
