(އެއުރެންވަނީ، ލޯލިތަކުގެ ބުޑުތައް ފޫވައްޓައިފަނިވި) ހޫނު ވައިގެތެރޭގައެވެ. އަދި ކެކިކެކިހުންނަ ހޫނުފެނުގެ ތެރޭގައެވެ.

with us are shackles, and a fierce fire.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި ކަސްތަޅުތަކާއި ނަރަކަވެއެވެ.

and he is fierce in his love of wealth.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުންް، އެ އިންސާނާއީ، މުދަލަށް ލޯބިކުރުންގަދަ މީހެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

i have warned you about the fierce blazing fire
ފަހެ، އަނދައަނދާހުރި ނަރަކައިގެ ވާހަކައިން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް إنذار ކުރެއްވީމެވެ.

ހަމަ ހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެ ނަރަކައީ އަނދައަނދާހުރި އަލިފާނެވެ.

އަދި عاد ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ގަދަފަދަ ފިނިވަޔަކުން އެއުރެން ހަލާކު ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

and as for a'ad, they were destroyed by a fierce roaring wind,
އަދި عاد ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ގަދަފަދަ ފިނިވަޔަކުން އެއުރެން ހަލާކު ކުރެއްވިއެވެ.

"besides allah, and lead them to the way to the (fierce) fire!
(ملائكة ންނަށް އަންގަވާނެތެވެ.) އަނިޔާވެރިވީ މީހުންނާއި، އެއުރެންގެ (އެފަދަ) އަނބިންނާއި، އަދި اللَّه ފިޔަވައި އެއުރެން އަޅުކަންކޮށްއުޅުނު ތަކެތި އެއްކުރައްވާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ނަރަކައިގެ މަގަށް މަގުދައްކަވާށެވެ!

(they will be) in the midst of a fierce blast of fire and in boiling water,
(އެއުރެންވަނީ، ލޯލިތަކުގެ ބުޑުތައް ފޫވައްޓައިފަނިވި) ހޫނު ވައިގެތެރޭގައެވެ. އަދި ކެކިކެކިހުންނަ ހޫނުފެނުގެ ތެރޭގައެވެ.

does the human being not consider that we created him from a seed? yet he becomes a fierce adversary.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މަނިތިއްކަކުން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިންސާނާ ހެއްދެވިކަން، އެ އިންސާނާއަށް ނޭނގެނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ފަހެ، އެހާރުން އޭނާވަނީ ފާޅުވެ ބަޔާންވެގެންވާ ދެކޮޅުވެރިޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

"(which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce blaze.
(އެއިން) ހިޔަލެއްވެސް ނުދެތެވެ. އަދި ހުޅުގަނޑުގެ ހޫނުން ސަލާމަތްކޮށެއްވެސް ނުމެދޭމެއެވެ.

over it are angels, fierce and powerful. they never disobey god in anything he commands them, and they carry out whatever they are commanded.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ أهل ވެރިން، ނަރަކައިން ސަލާމަތްކުރާށެވެ! އެ ނަރަކައިގެ ދަރަކީ، މީހުންނާއި ހިލައެވެ. އެ ނަރަކައިގެ މައްޗަށް (ބަނޑޭރިންކަމުގައި) ހަރުކަށި، އަދި ގަދަފަދަ ملائكة ންވެއެވެ. اللَّه، އެބޭކަލުންނަށް ކުރައްވާ أمر އަކަށް އެބޭކަލުން ނުއުރެދޭނެތެވެ. އަދި އެބޭކަލުންނަށް أمر ކުރައްވާކަންތައް އެބޭކަލުން ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

whereupon we sent upon them a fierce wind on inauspicious days that we might make them taste a degrading chastisement in the life of this world. and surely the chastisement of the hereafter is even more degrading.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ސުންޕާދުވަސްތަކެއްގައި، ގަދަ އަޑާއި، ގަދަ ފިނީގެ ވަޔެއް ފޮނުއްވީމެވެ. ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައި ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްކެވުމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب ގެ ނިކަމެތިކަން މާބޮޑެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކަށް نصر އެއް ނުލިބޭނެތެވެ.

and when our messengers came to lot, he was troubled on their account and distressed for them, and he said, 'this is a fierce day.'
އަދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رسول ން (އެބަހީ: ملائكة ން) لوط ގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ވަޑައިގަތްހިނދު (قوم ގެމީހުންގެ فاسد ކަމުގެ ސަބަބުން، އެބޭކަލުންނަށް ދެރަގޮތެއް ވެދާނެތީ) އެބޭކަލުންނާމެދު ދެރަފުޅުވެ ހިތާމަކުރެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި އެބޭކަލުންނާމެދު ހިތްޕުޅު ދަތިވިއެވެ. އަދި ވިދާޅުވިއެވެ. މިއީ ވަރަށް ހިތާމަވެރި ދުވަހެކެވެ.

believers, guard yourselves and your kindred against a fire whose fuel is human beings and stones, a fire held in the charge of fierce and stern angels who never disobey what he has commanded them, and always do what they are bidden.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކާއި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ أهل ވެރިން، ނަރަކައިން ސަލާމަތްކުރާށެވެ! އެ ނަރަކައިގެ ދަރަކީ، މީހުންނާއި ހިލައެވެ. އެ ނަރަކައިގެ މައްޗަށް (ބަނޑޭރިންކަމުގައި) ހަރުކަށި، އަދި ގަދަފަދަ ملائكة ންވެއެވެ. اللَّه، އެބޭކަލުންނަށް ކުރައްވާ أمر އަކަށް އެބޭކަލުން ނުއުރެދޭނެތެވެ. އަދި އެބޭކަލުންނަށް أمر ކުރައްވާކަންތައް އެބޭކަލުން ކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

(i swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks
ނޭވާގެ އަޑު އިއްވަމުން، ހަރުކޮށް ދުވާ އަސްތައް ގަންދެއްވަމެވެ.
