ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެކަލޭގެފާނު ހަލާކުކޮށްލުމަށް މަކަރުވެރި ރޭވުމެއް ރޭވޫއެވެ. އަދި ދެރަވެ ނިކަމެތިވި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެން ލެއްވީމެވެ.

their eyes are humbled and they are covered with humiliation. such is the day that they were promised.
(އެއުރެން ތިބޭހުށީ) އެއުރެންގެ ލޯތައް ތިރިވެގެންވާ حال، އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ނިކަމެތިކަން ވެރިވެފައެވެ. އެއީ، އެއުރެންނަށް وعد ކުރައްވާކަމުގައިވީ ދުވަހެވެ.

the punishment being doubled for him on the day of resurrection. in it he will abide in humiliation forever,
އެމީހަކަށް قيامة ދުވަހުން عذاب ގިނަގުނަކުރައްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އިހާނެތިކަން ލިބިގެންވާ حال އެ عذاب ގެ ތެރޭގައި، އެމީހަކު ދެމިހުންނާނެތެވެ.

god made them suffer humiliation in this life. would that they knew that the torment for them in the next life will be even greater.
ފަހެ، اللَّه އެއުރެންނަށް ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައި ދެރަކަމާއި، ނިކަމެތިކަމުގެ ރަހަ ދެއްކެވިއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة ގެ عذاب މާބޮޑެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް އެކަން އެނގޭނޭނަމައެވެ.

the punishment shall be increased for him on the day of resurrection, and he will remain in it forever, with humiliation.
އެމީހަކަށް قيامة ދުވަހުން عذاب ގިނަގުނަކުރައްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި އިހާނެތިކަން ލިބިގެންވާ حال އެ عذاب ގެ ތެރޭގައި، އެމީހަކު ދެމިހުންނާނެތެވެ.

do they not know that whoever opposes god and his messenger shall abide forever in the fire of hell? that is the supreme humiliation.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ މީހާ، ފަހެ، އެތާނގައި ދެމިހުންނަ ގޮތުގައި، އެމީހާއަށް ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާން ހުރިކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނިކަމެތިކަމަކީ އެއީއެވެ.

he hides from the people because of the bad news given to him. shall he keep it in humiliation, or bury it in the dust?
އެމީހާއަށް ދެވުނު خبر ގެ ނުބައިކަމުން، މީސްތަކުންގެ ކިބައިން އޭނާ ނިވައިވެގަނެތެވެ. ނިކަމެތިކަންމަތީގައި، އޭނާ އެ ކުއްޖާ ގެންގުޅޭނީ ބާވައެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ ފަސްގަނޑުގެ ތެރެޔަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ ކޮށްޕައިލާނީ ބާވައެވެ؟ ދަންނާށެވެ! އެއުރެންކުރާ حكم ހާދަހާ ނުބައިވެގެންވެއެވެ.

do they not know that for displeasing god and his messenger, one would be admitted to hell wherein he would live forever. this indeed is a great humiliation.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ މީހާ، ފަހެ، އެތާނގައި ދެމިހުންނަ ގޮތުގައި، އެމީހާއަށް ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާން ހުރިކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނިކަމެތިކަމަކީ އެއީއެވެ.

and as for thamud, we gave them guidance, but they preferred blindness to the guidance, so the bolt of the doom of humiliation overtook them because of what they used to earn.
އަދި ثمود ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ ބަދަލުގައި، ކަނުކަން (އެބަހީ: މަގު ފުރެދުން) اختيار ކުރޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހޯދައިއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ގެ ހޮނުގުގުރި އެއުރެންގައި ހިފިއެވެ.

do they not know that for one who opposes allah and his noble messenger, is the fire of hell, to remain in it forever? this is the greatest humiliation.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް ދެކޮޅުވެރިވާ މީހާ، ފަހެ، އެތާނގައި ދެމިހުންނަ ގޮތުގައި، އެމީހާއަށް ނަރަކައިގެ އަލިފާން ހުރިކަން އެއުރެން ނުދަންނަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟ ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނިކަމެތިކަމަކީ އެއީއެވެ.

as for the thamud we offered them our guidance, but they preferred blindness to guidance. so the lightning-bolt of the punishment of humiliation seized them on account of their misdeeds.
އަދި ثمود ބާގައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ތެދުމަގު ދެއްކެވީމެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެން ތެދުމަގު ލިބުމުގެ ބަދަލުގައި، ކަނުކަން (އެބަހީ: މަގު ފުރެދުން) اختيار ކުރޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ހޯދައިއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ސަބަބުން، އިހާނަތްތެރި عذاب ގެ ހޮނުގުގުރި އެއުރެންގައި ހިފިއެވެ.

bending his neck, that he may lead astray from the way of allah; his shall be humiliation in the world, and we shall make him taste on the day of judgment the torment of burning.
اللَّه ގެ މަގުން (މީސްތަކުން) އެއްކިބާކުރުމަށްޓަކައި (ބޮޑާކަމާއެކު) އޭނާގެ ކަނދުރާ އަނބުރައިލާ حال ގައެވެ. އެމީހަކަށް ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި ނިކަމެތިކަމާއި، ދެރަކަންހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި قيامة ދުވަހުން ނަރަކައިގެ عذاب ގެ ރަހަ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެމީހަކަށް ދައްކަވާ ހުށީމެވެ.

envoy, go back to those who sent you and we shall certainly come upon them with hosts whom they will be unable to resist. we shall drive them out from there, and they will suffer humiliation and disgrace."
ތިޔަ ހަދިޔާއާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް އެނބުރިދާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނަށް ދެކޮޅުހެދުމަށް ކުޅަދާނަވެގެންނުވާފަދަ لشكر އަކާއިގެން އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަހުރެމެން ދާހުށީމުއެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން ދެރަވެ، ނިކަމެތިވެގެންވާ حال ގައި، އެރަށުން އެއުރެން ބޭރުކުރާހުށީމުއެވެ.

and whosesoever temptation allah willeth, thou shalt not avail him against allah in aught. these are they whose hearts allah would not cleanse; theirs is humiliation in this world and theirs shall be in the hereafter a mighty torment.
އޭ رسول އާއެވެ! އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް إيمان ނުވެ، އެއުރެންގެ އަނގައިން ތިމަންމެން إيمان ވެއްޖައީމުއޭ ބުނި މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިންނާއި، يهودى ން ކަމުގައިވި މީހުންގެ ތެރެއިން كافر ވުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނަ މީހުންނާމެދު، ކަލޭގެފާނު ހިތާމަ ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ! އެއުރެންނަކީ، ދޮގުތައް ގިނަގިނައިން އަޑުއަހާ މީހުންނެވެ. (އަދި) ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަރިހަށް ނާންނަ އެހެންބަޔެއްގެ ބަސް، ގިނަގިނައިން އަޑުއަހާ މީހުންނެވެ. (توراة ގެ) كلمة ތައް އެ ހުންނަންވީ ތަންތަނުން އެއުރެން ބަދަލުކުރެތެވެ. އެއުރެން ބުނެތެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް މި كلمة ތައް (އެބަހީ: ބަދަލުކުރި كلمة ތައް) ލިބިއްޖެނަމަ، އޭގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހިފަހައްޓާށެވެ! އެ كلمة ތައް ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނަށް ނުލިބުނުނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! اللَّه އެ މީހަކު މަގުފުރެއްދެވުމަށް އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން އެމީހަކަށްޓަކައި އެއްވެސް ކަމެއް ކަލޭގެފާނަކަށްި މިލްކުވެގެނެއް ނުވާނެއެވެ. އެއުރެންނަކީ، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތައް طاهر ކުރެއްވުމަށް اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވާފައިނުވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އެއުރެންނަށް ދުނިޔޭގައި ހުރީ ނިކަމެތިކަމެވެ. އަދި آخرة ގައި އެއުރެންނަށް ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ عذاب ހުށްޓެވެ.

abasement is made to cleave to them wherever they are found, except under a covenant with allah and a covenant with men, and they have become deserving of wrath from allah, and humiliation is made to cleave to them; this is because they disbelieved in the communications of allah and slew the prophets unjustly; this is because they disobeyed and exceeded the limits.
އެއުރެންވީ، ކޮންމެތަނެއްގައިވެސްް، އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ދެރަކަމާއި، ނިކަމެތިކަން ލައްވާފައިވެއެވެ. اللَّه ގެ عهد އަކުން ނުވަތަ މީސްތަކުންގެ عهد އަކުން (ރައްކާތެރިކަން ލިބިގެންފުމުން) މެނުވީއެވެ. އަދި، اللَّه ގެ ކޯފާއާއިގެން އެއުރެން އެނބުރި އަޔެވެ. އަދި، مسكين ކަން އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ލައްވާފައިވިއެވެ. އެއީ، އެއުރެން اللَّه ގެ آية ތަކަށް كافر ވެ އަދި، حق އަކާ ނުލައި، ނަބިއްޔުން قتل ކޮށް އުޅުނުކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އެއީ، އެއުރެން އުރެދުނުކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި، އުރެދުމުގައި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ވީކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
