ހަމަހިލާ އެހެންނަކުން ނުވާނެއެވެ. އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ލޯބިކުރަނީ ދުނިޔޭގެ ކަންތަކަށެވެ.

ވަގުތުން ފުހެލެވޭގޮތަށް (ޑިލީޓް) ހަދާނެތޯ ނުވަތަ ނޫންތޯ

therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,
ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު) دين އަށް ގޮވައިލެއްވުމުގެ މަސައްކަތުން (އަވަދިވެވަޑައިގަންނަވާހިނދު، ފަހެ، ކަލޭގެފާނު) އަޅުކަން ކުރެއްވުމުގައި (ވަރުބަލިވެ ވަޑައިގަންނަވާށެވެ!

indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them a grave day.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިބައިމީހުން ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމަށް ލޯބިކުރެތެވެ. އަދި ބަރުދަންހުރި ދުވަހެއް އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތަށް ދޫކޮށްލަތެވެ.

the unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. let them not make me bring immediate punishment upon them.
ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަނިޔާވެރިވި މީސްތަކުންނަށް عذاب ގެ حصّة އެއް ހުށްޓެވެ. (އެއީ) އެއުރެންގެ އެކުވެރިން ކަމުގައިވި މީހުންނަށްހުރި عذاب އަކާ އެއްފަދަ حصّة އެކެވެ. ފަހެ، عذاب އަވަސްވުންއެދި ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށް އެއުރެން، ނޭދޭހުށިކަމެވެ!

those people [who are unmindful of god] aspire for immediate gains, and put behind them a heavy day.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، މިބައިމީހުން ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމަށް ލޯބިކުރެތެވެ. އަދި ބަރުދަންހުރި ދުވަހެއް އެއުރެންގެ ފަހަތަށް ދޫކޮށްލަތެވެ.

we give whatever we will to whoever desires immediate gains; but then we have prepared hell for him which he will enter, disgraced and rejected.
ދުނިޔޭގެ އަރާމަށް އެދޭމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާކަމެއް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވާ ހުށީމެވެ. ދެން އެމީހަކަށްޓަކައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ނަރަކަ ލެއްވީމެވެ. މަލާމާތްލިބި، رحمة ން ދުރުކުރައްވާފައިވާ حال، އެ ނަރަކައަށް އެމީހަކު ވަންނާނެތެވެ.

god is pleased with the believers for their pledging obedience to you under the tree. he knew whatever was in their hearts, thus, he granted them confidence and rewarded them with an immediate victory
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ގަސްދޮށުގައި އެއުރެން ކަލޭގެފާނަށް بيعة ހިފާހިނދު، އެ مؤمن ތަކުންނާމެދު اللَّه ރުހިވޮޑިގެންފިއެވެ. ފަހެ، އެއުރެންގެ ހިތްތަކުގައިވާ ކަންތައް އެކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެތެވެ. ފަހެ، އެކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންގެ މައްޗަށް ހިތްހަމަޖެހުން ބާވައިލައްވައި އަދި ޖަޒާއެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ގާތްވެގެންވާ فتح އެއް އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވިއެވެ.

had not the word of your lord been decreed (otherwise), the unbelievers deserved immediate punishment. the appointed time for their punishment will inevitably come.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން (އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب ލަސްކުރެއްވުމުގެ) كلمة ފުޅެއް އިސްވެގޮސްފައި ނުވާނަމަ، އަދި ކަނޑައެޅިގެންވާ މުއްދަތެއް ނުވާނަމަ (އެއުރެންނަށް ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި) عذاب ދެއްވުން لازم ވެއްޖައީހެވެ.

if anyone desires immediate benefits, we hasten to grant whatever benefits we will in the present life to whomsoever we please, but thereafter we decree for him hell wherein he shall burn, condemned and rejected.
ދުނިޔޭގެ އަރާމަށް އެދޭމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާކަމެއް، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އިރާދަކުރައްވާ މީހަކަށް އަވަސްކޮށްދެއްވާ ހުށީމެވެ. ދެން އެމީހަކަށްޓަކައި، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ނަރަކަ ލެއްވީމެވެ. މަލާމާތްލިބި، رحمة ން ދުރުކުރައްވާފައިވާ حال، އެ ނަރަކައަށް އެމީހަކު ވަންނާނެތެވެ.

but for a pre-ordained word from your lord, and a term [of respite] already fixed, immediate punishment would inevitably have taken place.
ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ން (އެއުރެންނަށް عذاب ލަސްކުރެއްވުމުގެ) كلمة ފުޅެއް އިސްވެގޮސްފައި ނުވާނަމަ، އަދި ކަނޑައެޅިގެންވާ މުއްދަތެއް ނުވާނަމަ (އެއުރެންނަށް ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި) عذاب ދެއްވުން لازم ވެއްޖައީހެވެ.

(besides forgiveness) you will receive other favors which you will love: help from god and an immediate victory (muhammad), give such glad news to the believers.
އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެއަށް ލޯބިވާނޭ އެހެން نعمة އެއް އެކަލާނގެ ދެއްވާނެތެވެ. (އެއީ) اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން ދެއްވާ نصر އަކާއި، އަދި ގާތްވެގެންވާ فتح އެކެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު مؤمن ތަކުންނަށް އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ދެއްވާށެވެ!
