އޭ ނަބިއްޔާއެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަނބިއަނބިކަނބަލުންނާއި، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިދަރިކަނބަލުންނާއި، مؤمن ންގެ އަންހެނުން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފޭރާންތަކުން ނިވައިވެތިބުމަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އެކަނބަލުން އެނގިގެން ވުމަށާއި، އެކަނބަލުންނަށް އުނދަގޫ ނުލިބުމަށް އެގޮތް މާގާތްކަން ބޮޑެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައި ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

and when the book was sent to them by god verifying what had been revealed to them already even though before it they used to pray for victory over the unbelievers and even though they recognised it when it came to them, they renounced it. the curse of god be on those who deny!
އަދި އެއުރެންނާ އެކުގައިވާ ފޮތްތައް (އެބަހީ: توراة އާއި إنجيل) ގަބޫލުކޮށް ތެދުކުރާގޮތުގައި اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން އެއުރެންނާހަމަޔަށް ފޮތެއް (އެބަހީ: قرآن) އައިހިނދު (އެފޮތް އެއުރެން ދޮގުކުރޫއެވެ.) އޭގެ ކުރިން، އެއުރެން، كافر ވެގަތް މީސްތަކުންގެ މައްޗަށް نصر އެދޭކަމުގައި ވޫއެވެ. ދެން އެއުރެންނަށް އެނގިފައިވާ حق ގޮތް އެއުރެންނާހަމަޔަށް އައިހިނދު އެއަށް އެއުރެން كافر ވޫއެވެ. ފަހެ، كافر ންގެ މައްޗަށް اللَّه ގެ لعنة ހުށްޓެވެ.

tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). that will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed.
އޭ ނަބިއްޔާއެވެ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ އަނބިއަނބިކަނބަލުންނާއި، ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ދަރިދަރިކަނބަލުންނާއި، مؤمن ންގެ އަންހެނުން، އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފޭރާންތަކުން ނިވައިވެތިބުމަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ! އެކަނބަލުން އެނގިގެން ވުމަށާއި، އެކަނބަލުންނަށް އުނދަގޫ ނުލިބުމަށް އެގޮތް މާގާތްކަން ބޮޑެވެ. اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ، رحيم ވަންތަ ރަސްކަލާނގެ ކަމުގައި ވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ.

and there is no sin on you if you propose marriage to women while they are hidden from your view, or hide it in your hearts; allah knows that you will now remember them, but do not make secret pacts with women except by decent words recognised by islamic law; and do not consummate the marriage until the written command reaches its completion; know well that allah knows what is in your hearts, therefore fear him; and know well that allah is oft forgiving, most forbearing.
އަދި، (رجعى عدة ފިޔަވައި އެހެން عدة ގައިވާ) އަންހެނުންކުރެން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ކާވެނިކުރަން އެދޭކަމުގެ މައްޗަށް ދޭހަވާ ނުވަތަ إشارة ކުރާ ބަހެއް ބުނުމާމެދު، ނުވަތަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ހިތުތެރޭގައި (ކާވެނިކުރުމުގެ قصد) ފޮރުވާފައި ބޭއްވުމާމެދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަކަށް ފާފައެއްނެތެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން އެކަނބަލުން ކުރެން (صريح ކޮށް) ކާވެނިކުރުމަށް އެދޭނޭކަން اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވެއެވެ. އެހެނެއްކަމަކު، شرعى ހަމައިގެ މަތިންވާ ބަހެއް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ބުނުން ފިޔަވައި، އެކަނބަލުންނަށް ކާވެނިކުރުމާމެދު وعد ވެ ނުހަދާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، އެކަނބަލުންގެ عدّة ހަމަވެއްޖައުމަށްދާނދެން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (އެކަނބަލުންނާ) ކާވެނި عقد ނުކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ نفس ތަކުގައިވާ ކަންތައް ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ދެނެވޮޑިގެންވާކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ! ވީމާ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، އެކަލާނގެއަށް ބިރުވެތިވެ ރައްކާތެރިވާށެވެ! އަދި، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އީ، ގިނަގިނައިން ފާފަފުއްސަވާ حليم ވަންތަ، ރަސްކަލާނގެކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!
