those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression,
ފަހެ، އެއިން ބޭރުގައިވާ ކަމަކަށް އެދިއްޖެމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، އެއުރެންނީ (ހުއްދަވެގެންވާ سرحد) ފަހަނަޅައިދާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and that our foolish one has been saying about allah an excessive transgression.
އަދި ތިމަންމެންގެ ތެރެއިން جاهل ކަންބޮޑު މީހާ، اللَّه އާމެދު حق ން އެއްކިބާވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަސްބުނާކަމުގައިވިއެވެ.

thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,
ثمود ބާގައިމީހުން، އެއުރެންގެ އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުން (އެއުރެންގެ ނަބިއްޔާ) ދޮގުކުރޫއެވެ.

should we withdraw the admonition from you because you are a people far gone in transgression?
ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (كافر ކަމުގައި) ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިފައިވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވީތީވެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާމެދު ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ قرآن ގެ وعظ ބާވައިނުލައްވައި ދޫކޮށްލައްވަންވީހެއްޔެވެ؟

they said, "lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us".
އެ ދެބޭކަލުން ދެންނެވިއެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޯއެވެ! އޭނާ އަޅަމެންގެ މައްޗަށް (عقوبات ދިނުމަށް) އަވަސްވެގަނެ، ނުވަތަ އަނިޔާވެރިވެ، ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައި ހިނގައިދާނެކަމަށް، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އަޅަމެން ބިރުގަނެތެވެ.

and that he it is who destroyed the people of noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression.
އަދި އޭގެކުރިން نوح ގެފާނުގެ قوم ގެމީހުން ހަލާކުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންވީ އަނިޔާވެރިކަންބޮޑު، އަދި އުރެދުންބޮޑު ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?”
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެންގެ ބުއްދިތައް އެގޮތަށް ބުނުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް އަމުރުކުރަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެއުރެންނީ ވިސްނުމަކާނުލައި ދެކޮޅުހަދާ ބަޔަކީހެއްޔެވެ؟

but whosoever does that in transgression and wrongfully we shall roast him in the fire. that is an easy matter for allah.
ދެކޮޅުވެރިކަމާއި، އަނިޔާވެރިކަމުގެ ގޮތުން އެކަންތައް ކުރާމީހާ (ދަންނާށެވެ!) ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެމީހަކު ނަރަކަޔަށް ވައްދަވާހުށީމެވެ. އަދި، އެކަންތައް އެއީ، اللَّه އަށް ދާދި ފަސޭހަކަމެއް ކަމުގައިވެއެވެ.

and as for the boy, his parents were believers, and we feared that he would overburden them by transgression and disbelief.
އަދި އެ ފިރިހެންކުއްޖާއާމެދު ދަންނާށެވެ! ފަހެ، އޭނާގެ މައިންބަފައިންވީ (ހެޔޮލަފާ) مؤمن ން ކަމުގައެވެ. ފަހެ، އެ ދެމީހުން އުރެދި كافر ވާ ދަރަޖައަށް އެދެމީހުންނަށް އެ ކުއްޖާ އުނދަގޫކޮށް، އަނިޔާދީފާނެކަމަށް ތިމަންކަލޭގެފާނު ބިރުގަތީއެވެ.

and even if we gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
އެއުރެންނަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ލައްވައި، އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިގައިވާ ދަތިކަން ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ފިއްލެވިނަމަވެސް، އެއުރެންގެ މަގުފުރެދުމުގައި ދެވޭނުދެވޭތަނެއް ނޭނގޭގޮތުގައި، އެއުރެން ދެމިތިބީހެވެ.

[but] allah mocks them and prolongs them in their transgression [while] they wander blindly.
اللَّه، އެއުރެން ކުޅަ ފުރައްސާރައިގެ ޖަޒާ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވާހުށްޓެވެ. އަދި ދެފުށުއެޅޭ حال ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ އުރެދުމުގައި އުޅުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް މުއްދަތު ދިގުކުރައްވާނެތެވެ.

and thou shalt see many of them hastening toward sin and transgression and their devouring of the forbidden. vile indeed is that which they have been doing!
އަދި އޭގެތެރެއިން ގިނަމީހުން ފާފަވެރިވުމާއި، ދެކޮޅުވެރިވުމާއި، حرام މުދާ ކެއުމަށް އަވަސްވެގަންނަތަން، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދެކެވަޑައިގަންނަވާނޫއެވެ. އެއުރެން ކޮށްއުޅުނު عمل ތަކުގެ ނުބައިކަމާއެވެ!

and never offer prayer for any one of them who dies and do not stand by his grave; surely they disbelieve in allah and his apostle and they shall die in transgression.
އެއުރެންގެ ތެރެއިން މަރުވި އެއްވެސް މީހެއްގެ މައްޗަށް ކަލޭގެފާނު ދުވަހަކުވެސް ކަށުނަމާދު ނުކުރައްވާށެވެ! އަދި އެމީހެއްގެ މަހާނަދޮށުގައިވެސް ކަލޭގެފާނު ހުއްޓިވަޑައިގެން ނުހުންނަވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެން اللَّه އަށާއި، އެކަލާނގެ رسول އާއަށް كافر ވޫއެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން މަރުވީ، فاسق ން ކަމުގައިވާ حال ގައެވެ.

surely there came to them narratives (of the ancient nations) that should suffice to deter (them from transgression),
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، خبر ތަކުގެ ތެރެއިން އެކަންކަމުގައި عبرة ހިމެނިގެންވާ خبر ތައް އެއުރެންގެ ގާތަށްއައެވެ.

a sacred month for a sacred month: violation of sanctity calls for fair retribution. thus you may exact retribution from whoever transgresses against you, in proportion to his transgression.
حرمة ތެރިވެގެންވާ މަހަށް حرمة ތެރިވެގެންވާ މަހެވެ. حرمة ތައް ކަނޑައިފުމަކީ، ބަދަލުހިފުން އޮންނަ ކަމެކެވެ. (އެބަހީ: حرمة ތެރިވެގެންވާ މައްސަރެއްގައި مشرك ން ހަނގުރާމަ ކުޅަފަދައިން، އެފަދަ މައްސަރެއްގައި مشرك ންނާ ހަނގުރާމަ ކުޅައުމަކީ ކުރުން އެންމެ ރަނގަޅު ކަމެކެވެ.) ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ މައްޗަށް ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެ حملة ދިން ބަޔެއްގެ މައްޗަށް އެއުރެން ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެ حملة ދިން ފަދަޔަކުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދެކޮޅުވެރިވެ حملة ދޭށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ވޮޑިގެންވަނީ تقوى ވެރިންނާ އެކުގައިކަން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދަންނާށެވެ!

not so; whoso earns evil, and is encompassed by his transgression -- those are the inhabitants of the fire; there they shall dwell forever.
އެހެންނަކުންނޫނެވެ. ފާފަކޮށް، އެމީހެއްގެކުށް އެމީހަކު ވަށާލައިފި މީހުންނީ (އެބަހީ: އެއުރެންގެ ކުށްތަކުގެ ތެރެޔަށް ގެނބިގެންފި މީހުންނީ) ނަރަކައިގެ أهل ވެރިންނެވެ. އެއުރެންނީ، އެތާނގައި ދެމިތިބޭނޭ މީހުންނެވެ.

cursed were the unbelievers of the children of israel by the tongue of david, and jesus, mary's son; that, for their rebelling and their transgression.
إسـرآءيـل ގެދަރިންގެ ތެރެއިން، كافر ވި މީހުންނަށް، داود ގެފާނާއި، مريم ގެފާނުގެ ދަރިކަލުން عيسى ގެފާނުގެ ދޫފުޅުމަތިން لعنة ލައްވާފައިވެއެވެ. އެއީ އެއުރެން އުރެދުނު ކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ. އަދި އުރެދުމުގައި ހައްދުފަހަނަޅައިދާކަމުގައި އެއުރެން ވީކަމަށްޓަކައެވެ.

believers, when you confer together in private, do not confer in support of sin and transgression and disobedience to the messenger, but confer for the promotion of virtue and righteousness. fear god, before whom you shall all be gathered.
އޭ إيمان ވެއްޖެ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ސައްލާއެއް ކުރާހިނދު ފަހެ، ފާފަވެރިކަމާއި، عداوة ތެރިކަމާއި، رسول އާއަށް ނުކިޔަމަންތެރިވުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ސައްލާނުކުރާ ހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި ހެޔޮކަންތައް ކުރުމާއި، تقوى ވެރިވުމަށް ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ސައްލާކުރާށެވެ! އަދި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! ތިޔަބައިމީހުން محشر ކުރައްވާހުށީ، ހަމައެކަލާނގެ حضرة އަށެވެ.

"now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine signs (thou wilt take) to pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression."
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނު ހެދުންކޮޅުގެ މަންސަފާއަށް އަތްޕުޅު ލައްވާށެވެ! އެއްވެސް ބަލިމަޑުކަމެއްގެ ނުބަޔަކާނުލައި، ހުދުކޮށް (ވިދަވިދާ އޮންނަގޮތުގައި) އެ އަތްޕުޅު ނުކުންނާނެތެވެ. فرعون އާއި، އޭނާގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނަށް ފޮނުއްވި ނުވަ معجزات ގެ ތެރެއިންނެވެ. ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، فاسق ބަޔަކުކަމުގައި، އެއުރެންވޫއެވެ.
