competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
(މުދަލާއި ދަރިން (ގިނަކަމަށް އެކަކުއަނެކަކަށް فخر ވެރިވެ އުޅުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން (اللَّه ގެ މަތިން ހަނދުމަނެއްތައި (مشغول ކޮށްފިއެވެ.

and is intractable in his love of worldly goods.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުންް، އެ އިންސާނާއީ، މުދަލަށް ލޯބިކުރުންގަދަ މީހެއްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

and to us belong the hereafter and the worldly life.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، آخرة އާއި، ދުނިޔޭގެ ހުރިހާކަމެއް މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެއަށްކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ.

his property and worldly gains will be of no help to him.
ހުޅުގަނޑުގެ ވެރި ނަރަކަޔަށް، ނިކަންހުރެ އޭނާ ވަންނާނެތެވެ.

the mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you,

let not the worldly life deceive you. let not the devil deceive you about god
އޭ މީސްތަކުންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ وعد ފުޅަކީ حق ތެދެވެ. ފަހެ، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުން ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރިޔަ ނުދޭހުށިކަމެވެ! އަދި اللَّه އާމެދު شيطان އާ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ހެއްލުންތެރިކުރިޔަ ނުދޭހުށިކަމެވެ!

in fact, the unbelievers have doubts because of excessive involvement in worldly affairs.
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! އެއުރެން شك ކަމެއްގައި ކުޅެކުޅެ ތިބެތެވެ.

life is not but our worldly life - we die and live, but we will not be resurrected.
އެ ދިރިއުޅުމަކީ، ތިމަންމެންގެ ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުން ފިޔަވައި އެހެން އެއްޗެއް ނޫނެވެ. ތިމަންމެން މަރުވަމުއެވެ. އަދި ދިރިއުޅެމުއެވެ. އަދި އަލުން ދިރުއްވައި ފޮނުއްވާނޭ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންމެން ނުވަމުއެވެ.

people simply know the outward aspect of the worldly life but are utterly heedless of the hereafter.
ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުން އެއުރެންނަށް އެނގެނީ ބޭރުފުށުގެ ކަންތަކެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންވަނީ، آخرة ދުވަހާމެދު غافل ވެގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ.

but all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. and the hereafter with your lord is for the righteous.
އަދި (އެތަކެއްޗަށް) ޒީނަތްތެރިކަން ލެއްވީމުހެވެ. އެހުރިހާ ތަކެއްޗަކީ، ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުމުގެ ވަގުތީ އަރާމެއްކަމުގައިނޫނީ ނުވެެތެވެ. އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައި تقوى ވެރިންނަށް آخرة ގެ نعمة ހުށްޓެވެ.

and they say, "there is none but our worldly life, and we will not be resurrected."
އަދި އެއުރެން ބުނެފޫއެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިތިބުން މެނުވީ، އެހެން ދިރިތިބުމެއް ނެތެވެ. އަދި އަލުން ދިރުއްވައި ފޮނުއްވާނެ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައި ތިމަންމެން ނުވަމުއެވެ.

for them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the hereafter. no change is there in the words of allah.
ދުނިޔޭގެ حياة ގައްޔާއި، آخرة ގައި އެއުރެންނަށް އުފާވެރިކަމުގެ خبر ހުށްޓެވެ. اللَّه ގެ كلمة ފުޅުތަކަށް ބަދަލުވުމެއް ނާންނަހުށްޓެވެ. ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ نصيب ލިބުމަކީ ހަމަ އެއީއެވެ.

man is not wearied of praying for worldly good, and if there tcucheth him an evil, he is despondent, despairing.
ހެޔޮކަންތަކަށް دعاء ކުރުމަކަށް އިންސާނާ ފޫއްސެއް ނުވާނެތެވެ. އަދި އޭނާއަށް ނުބައިކަމެއް ޖެހިއްޖެނަމަ، ފަހެ، އުންމީދުކެނޑި، ހިތްމަރުވެފައިވާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ ވެދެތެވެ.

if you were to die or to be killed for the cause of god, certainly his forgiveness and mercy is far better than your worldly gains.
ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه ގެ މަގުގައި ތިޔަބައިމީހުން قتل ވިޔަސް، ނުވަތަ މަރުވިޔަސް، اللَّه ގެ حضرة ން ފާފަފުއްސެވުމާއި، رحمة ލެއްވުން އެއުރެން އެއްކުރާ ތަކެއްޗަށްވުރެ މާ ހެޔޮކަން ބޮޑެވެ.

and they had been guided [in worldly life] to good speech, and they were guided to the path of the praiseworthy.
އަދި (ދުނިޔެމަތީގައި) ރަނގަޅު ބަސްބުނުމަށް އެއުރެންނަށް هداية ދެއްވިއެވެ. އަދި حمد ލިބިގެންވާ މަގަށް، މަގު ދެއްކެވިއެވެ.

(muhammad), stay away from those who turn away from our guidance and who do not desire anything except the worldly life.
ފަހެ، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ހަނދާންކުރުމުން އެއްކިބާވެ، ފުރަގަސްދީ، އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދިރިއުޅުން ނޫންކަމެއް ނޭދޭމީހާ، ކަލޭގެފާނު ދޫކޮށްލައްވާށެވެ!

[they are] those whose effort is lost in worldly life, while they think that they are doing well in work."
އެއުރެންނަކީ دنيوى حياة ގައި، އެއުރެންގެ عمل ތައް باطل ވެ، ގެއްލިފައިވާ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ރަނގަޅަށް ކަންތައްކުރާކަމަށް އެއުރެން ހީކުރެތެވެ.
