اور (بھول نہ جائیں یہ لوگ) اُس دن کو جب کہ وہ اِن کو پکارے گا اور پوچھے گا "کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم گمان رکھتے تھے؟"

on that day he will call to them, and say, "where are those whom you claimed to be my partners?"
اور (بھول نہ جائیں یہ لوگ) اُس دن کو جب کہ وہ اِن کو پکارے گا اور پوچھے گا "کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم گمان رکھتے تھے؟"

on that day he will call to them, saying: 'where are those whom you alleged to be my associates'
اور (بھول نہ جائیں یہ لوگ) اُس دن کو جب کہ وہ اِن کو پکارے گا اور پوچھے گا "کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم گمان رکھتے تھے؟"

and on the day when he shall call them and say: where are those whom you deemed to be my associates?
(یاد رکھیں یہ لوگ) وہ دن جبکہ وہ انہیں پکارے گا پھر پوچھے گا "کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم گمان رکھتے تھے؟"

neither did i make them witnesses at the creation of the heavens and the earth, nor at their own creation. i would never take those who lead others astray to be my supporters.
اور میں نے انہیں آسمان و زمین کی پیدائش کے وقت حاضر نہیں کیا اور نہ ہی ان کی اپنی خلقت کے وقت اور میں ایسا نہیں ہوں کہ گمراہ کرنے والوں کو اپنا دست و بازو بناؤں۔

i made them not witnesses of the creation of the heavens and earth, neither of the creation of themselves; i would not ever take those who lead others astray to be my supporters.
اور میں نے انہیں آسمان و زمین کی پیدائش کے وقت حاضر نہیں کیا اور نہ ہی ان کی اپنی خلقت کے وقت اور میں ایسا نہیں ہوں کہ گمراہ کرنے والوں کو اپنا دست و بازو بناؤں۔

(let them not forget) that the day when allah will call unto them, and say: "where are those whom you imagined to be my associates?"
اور (بھول نہ جائیں یہ لوگ) اُس دن کو جب کہ وہ اِن کو پکارے گا اور پوچھے گا "کہاں ہیں میرے وہ شریک جن کا تم گمان رکھتے تھے؟"

and the day he will say: 'call on those whom you claimed to be my associates' they will invoke them, but they will receive no answer, for we shall place a gulf between them.
اور اس دن خدا کہے گا کہ میرے ان شریکوں کو بلاؤ جن کی شرکت کا تمہیں خیال تھا اور وہ پکاریں گے لیکن وہ لوگ جواب بھی نہیں دیں گے اور ہم نے تو ان کے درمیان ہلاکت کی منزل قرار دے دی ہے

and on the day when he shall say: call on those whom you considered to be my associates. so they shall call on them, but they shall not answer them, and we will cause a separation between them.
اور اس دن خدا کہے گا کہ میرے ان شریکوں کو بلاؤ جن کی شرکت کا تمہیں خیال تھا اور وہ پکاریں گے لیکن وہ لوگ جواب بھی نہیں دیں گے اور ہم نے تو ان کے درمیان ہلاکت کی منزل قرار دے دی ہے

to be my heir and to be the heir [of the blessings] of the house of jacob; and make him, o my lord, acceptable to you."
جو (آسمانی نعمت میں) میرا (بھی) وارث بنے اور یعقوب (علیہ السلام) کی اولاد (کے سلسلۂ نبوت) کا (بھی) وارث ہو، اور اے میرے رب! تو (بھی) اسے اپنی رضا کا حامل بنا لے،

the day he will say [to the polytheists], ‘call those whom you maintained to be my partners,’ they will call them, but they will not respond to them, for we shall set an abyss between them.
اور اس دن خدا کہے گا کہ میرے ان شریکوں کو بلاؤ جن کی شرکت کا تمہیں خیال تھا اور وہ پکاریں گے لیکن وہ لوگ جواب بھی نہیں دیں گے اور ہم نے تو ان کے درمیان ہلاکت کی منزل قرار دے دی ہے
