وہ وہی ہے جو زندہ کرتا ہے اور مارتا ہے وہ جب کسی کام کا فیصلہ کر لیتا ہے تو اس سے کہتا ہے کہ ہو جا تو وہ ہو جاتا ہے۔

beholdest thou not that allah sendeth down water from the heaven and the earth becometh green? verily allah is subtile, aware.
کیا آپ نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ آسمان سے پانی برساتا ہے، پس زمین سرسبز ہو جاتی ہے۔ بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ مہربان اور باخبر ہے

and if we let him taste favour after harm hath touched him, he saith: the ills have departed from me; verily he becometh elated, boastful.
اور اگر اُس مصیبت کے بعد جو اُس پر آئی تھی ہم اسے نعمت کا مزا چکھاتے ہیں تو کہتا ہے میرے تو سارے دلدر پار ہو گئے، پھر وہ پھولا نہیں سماتا اور اکڑنے لگتا ہے
