and you did not veil yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness against you, but you thought that allah did not know most of what you did.
Аз ин ки гӯшу чашмҳо ва пӯстҳоятон ба зиёни шумо шоҳидӣ диҳанд, чизе ниҳон намедоштед, балки мепиндоштед, ки Худо бар бисёре аз корҳое, ки мекунед, огоҳ нест.

but he was not long in coming, and said, "i have learnt something you did not know. i have come to you from sheba with reliable news.
Дер карданаш ба дароз накашид. Биёмаду гуфт «Ба чизе даст ёфтаам, ки ту даст наёфта будӣ ва аз Сабо бароят хабаре дуруст овардаам.

then he turned away from them, and said, “o my people, i have delivered to you the message of my lord, and i have advised you, but you do not like those who give advice.”
Солеҳ аз онон рӯй баргардонид ва гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, рисолати Парвардигорамро ба шумо расонидам ва шуморо панд додам, вале шумо некхоҳонро дӯст надоред!»

you did not expect that the book would be delivered to you; but it was a mercy from your lord.
Агар раҳмати Парвардигорат набуд, умеди онро надоштӣ, ки ин китоб бар ту дода шавад.

and those who are given knowledge and faith will say: certainly you tarried according to the ordinance of allah till the day of resurrection, so this is the day of resurrection, but you did not know.
Онон, ки донишу имон дода шудаанд, гӯянд: Шумо мувофиқи китоби Худо то рӯзи қиёмат дар гӯр орамидаед ва ин рӯзи қиёмат аст ва шумо намедонистаед».

and you did not expect that the book would be inspired to you, but it is a mercy from your lord, therefore be not a backer-up of the unbelievers.
Агар раҳмати Парвардигорат набуд, умеди онро надоштӣ, ки ин китоб бар ту дода шавад. Пас набояд пуштибони кофирон бошӣ!

but those endowed with knowledge and faith will say, “you remained in god’s book until the day of resurrection. this is the day of resurrection, but you did not know.”
Онон, ки донишу имон дода шудаанд, гӯянд: Шумо мувофиқи китоби Худо то рӯзи қиёмат дар гӯр орамидаед ва ин рӯзи қиёмат аст ва шумо намедонистаед».

and said those who received knowledge and faith, “you have indeed stayed in the decree of allah until the day of restoration; so this is the day of restoration, but you did not know.”
Онон, ки донишу имон дода шудаанд, гӯянд: Шумо мувофиқи китоби Худо то рӯзи қиёмат дар гӯр орамидаед ва ин рӯзи қиёмат аст ва шумо намедонистаед».

but for the mercy of god and his grace you would certainly have been misled by a section of them; yet they could not mislead you but themselves alone, and could do you no harm, for god has revealed to you the book and the law, and taught you what you did not know. great have been the blessings of god on you.
Агар фазлу раҳмати Худо шомили ҳоли ту набуд, гурӯҳе аз кофирон қасди он доштанд, ки туро гумроҳ кунанд, вале онон ҷуз худро гумроҳ накунанд ва хеҷ зиёне ба ту нарасонанд. Ва Худо бар ту китобу ҳикмат нозил кард ва чизҳое ба ту омӯхт, ки аз ин пеш намедонистӣ ва лутфи Худо бар ту бузург аст!.

when the reckoning is over satan will say: "the promise that was made to you by god was indeed a true promise; but i went back on the promise i had made, for i had no power over you except to call you; and you responded to my call. so blame me not, but blame yourselves.
Чун кор ба поён ояд, шайтон гӯяд: «Худо ба шумо ваъда дод ва ваъдаи Ӯ дуруст буд ва ман низ ба шумо ваъда додам, вале ваъдаи худ хилоф кардам. Ва бароятон ҳеҷ далелу бурҳоне наёвардам, фақат ки даъвататон кардам, шумо низ даъвати ман иҷобат кардед, пас маро маломат макунед, худро маломат кунед.

but those who had been endowed with knowledge and faith shall say: “according to allah's record you have stayed till the day of resurrection. now, this is the day of resurrection. but you did not know.”
Онон, ки донишу имон дода шудаанд, гӯянд: Шумо мувофиқи китоби Худо то рӯзи қиёмат дар гӯр орамидаед ва ин рӯзи қиёмат аст ва шумо намедонистаед».

since you did not have to exhaust your horses and camels or (even fight), god granted to his messenger their property. god gives authority to his messenger over whomever he wants. god has power over all things.
Ва он чӣ Худо аз дороияшон ба паёмбари худ ғанимат дод, шумо бо асп ё шутуре бар он натохта будед, балки Худо паёмбаронашро бар ҳар кӣ бихоҳад, ғолиб, месозад ва Худо бар ҳар чизе қодир, аст!

(allah) will say: "like this, our ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this day, you will be neglected (in the hell-fire, away from allah's mercy)."
