Худо гуфт: «Ду худоро мапарастед ва фақат Ӯст Худои якто.

i desire not to do behind your backs that which i ask you not to do.
Агар шуморо манъ мекунам, барои он нест, ки худ суде бибарам.

and how should i fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with allah that for which he has not sent down to you any authority?
Чаро аз он чизе, ки шарики Худояш сохтаед, битарсам, дар ҳоле ки шумо чизҳоеро, ки ҳеҷ далеле дар бораи онҳо нозил накардааст, мепарастед ва биме ба дил роҳ намедиҳед?

and how should i fear that which ye have associated, while ye fear not to have associated with allah that for which he hath sent down unto you no warranty?
Чаро аз он чизе, ки шарики Худояш сохтаед, битарсам, дар ҳоле ки шумо чизҳоеро, ки ҳеҷ далеле дар бораи онҳо нозил накардааст, мепарастед ва биме ба дил роҳ намедиҳед?

and i say not to you, "i am an angel"; i only follow what is revealed to me.
Ва намегӯям, ки фариштае ҳастам. Танҳо ба чизе пайравӣ мекунам, ки бар ман ваҳй шудааст».

"how should i fear (the beings) ye associate with allah, when ye fear not to give partners to allah without any warrant having been given to you?
Чаро аз он чизе, ки шарики Худояш сохтаед, битарсам, дар ҳоле ки шумо чизҳоеро, ки ҳеҷ далеле дар бораи онҳо нозил накардааст, мепарастед ва биме ба дил роҳ намедиҳед?

i have no desire to do, out of opposition to you, what i am asking you not to do.
Агар шуморо манъ мекунам, барои он нест, ки худ суде бибарам.

why should i fear those whom you have associated (with allah in his divinity) when you do not fear associating others with allah in his divinity - something for which he has sent down to you no authority.
Чаро аз он чизе, ки шарики Худояш сохтаед, битарсам, дар ҳоле ки шумо чизҳоеро, ки ҳеҷ далеле дар бораи онҳо нозил накардааст, мепарастед ва биме ба дил роҳ намедиҳед?

and how should i fear those whom you associate in worship with allah (though they can neither benefit nor harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with allah things for which he has not sent down to you any authority.
Чаро аз он чизе, ки шарики Худояш сохтаед, битарсам, дар ҳоле ки шумо чизҳоеро, ки ҳеҷ далеле дар бораи онҳо нозил накардааст, мепарастед ва биме ба дил роҳ намедиҳед?

if they come to you (seeking your judgment to settle their differences), you may settle their disputes or keep aloof from them. should you choose not to bother with them, it will not harm you in the least.
Пас агар назди ту омаданд, миёнашон ҳукм кун ё аз онҳо рӯйгардон шав ва агар рӯйгардон шавӣ, ҳеҷ ба ту зиёне нарасонанд.

and how should i fear what you have set up (with him), while you do not fear that you have set up with allah that for which he has not sent down to you any authority; which then of the two parties is surer of security, if you know?
Чаро аз он чизе, ки шарики Худояш сохтаед, битарсам, дар ҳоле ки шумо чизҳоеро, ки ҳеҷ далеле дар бораи онҳо нозил накардааст, мепарастед ва биме ба дил роҳ намедиҳед? Агар медонед, бигӯед, ки кадом як аз ин ду гурӯҳ ба эминӣ сазовортаранд?»

(say): "then should i seek (the source of) law elsewhere than god, when it is he who has revealed this book to you, which distinctly explains (everything)?"
Оё қозии дигаре ҷуз Худо талаб кунам ва ҳол ок ки Ӯст, ки ин китоби равшанро бар шумо нозил кардааст?

(muhammad), say, "should i seek any judge other than god? it is he who has revealed this book (quran) to you with all its intricate details."
Оё қозии дигаре ҷуз Худо талаб кунам ва ҳол ок ки Ӯст, ки ин китоби равшанро бар шумо нозил кардааст?

so he turned away from them, saying, "my people, i delivered my lord's messages to you and gave you sincere advice, so why should i grieve for people who refused to believe?"
Пас аз онҳо руйгардон шуд ва гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, албатта паёмҳои Парвардигорамро ба шумо расонидам ва пандатон додам. Чӣ гуна бар мардуме кофир андӯҳгин шавам?»

tell them, "i ask no recompense for my preaching to you, except the fact that whoever wants should choose the way of god."
Бигӯ: «Ман аз шумо ҳеҷ музде наметалабам лекин ҳарки хоҳад, ба суй Парвардигораш роҳе биёбад».

he said, ‘o my people! tell me, should i stand on a manifest proof from my lord, and he has granted me his own mercy—though it should be invisible to you—shall we force it upon you while you are averse to it?
Гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, чӣ мегӯед, агар аз Парвардигорам ҳуҷҷате ба ҳамроҳ дошта бошам ва Ӯ маро раҳмати хеш арзонӣ карда бошад ва шумо аз дидани он нотавон бошед, оё дар ҳоле, ки худ намехоҳед, шуморо ба зӯрӣ ба қабули Ӯ водорем?

he said: "i intend to wed one of these two daughters of mine to you, on condition that you serve me for eight years, but if you complete ten years, it will be (a favour) from you. but i intend not to place you under a difficulty.
Гуфт: «Мехоҳам яке аз ин ду духтарамро зани ту кунам, ба шарти он, ки ҳашт сол мардикори ман бошӣ. Ва агар даҳ солро пурра кунӣ, худ хидматест ва ман намехоҳам, ки туро ба машаққат афканам.

"and to you there came joseph in times gone by, with clear signs, but ye ceased not to doubt of the (mission) for which he had come: at length, when he died, ye said: 'no messenger will allah send after him.' thus doth allah leave to stray such as transgress and live in doubt,-
Юсуф пеш аз ин бо далоили равшан бар шумо мабъус (фиристода) шуд ва шумо аз он чӣ оварда буд, ҳамчунон дар шак мебудед. Чун Юсуф бимурд, гуфтед: «Худо пас аз ӯ дигар паёмбаре нахоҳад фиристод!»
