upon a day he will call them and ask: "where are they you imagined were my compeers?"
இன்னும் (அல்லாஹ்) அவர்களை அழைக்கும் நாளில்; "எனக்கு இணையானவர்கள் என்று நீங்கள் எண்ணியிருந்தீர்களே அவர்கள் எங்கே?" என்று கேட்பான்.

on the day when god will call them and ask them, "what answer did you give to (our) messengers?"
மேலும், (அல்லாஹ் விசாரணைக்காக) அவர்களைக் கூப்பிடும் நாளில், (உங்களை நேர்வழிக்கு அழைத்த நம்) தூதர்களுக்கு என்ன பதில் கொடுத்தீர்கள்?" என்றும் கேட்பான்.

lo! those on whom ye call beside allah are slaves like unto you. call on them now, and let them answer you, if ye are truthful!
நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி எவர்களை நீங்கள் அழைக்கின்றீர்களோ, அவர்களும் உங்களைப் போன்ற அடிமைகளே நீங்கள் உண்மையாளர்களாக இருந்தால் நீங்கள் அவர்களை அழைத்துப் பாருங்கள் - அவர்கள் உங்களுக்கு பதில் அளிக்கட்டும்!

so glorify the praises of your lord, and ask for his forgiveness. verily, he is the one who accepts the repentance and forgives.
உம்முடைய இறைவனின் புகழைக் கொண்டு (துதித்து) தஸ்பீஹு செய்வீராக, மேலும் அவனிடம் பிழை பொறுக்கத் தேடுவீராக - நிச்சயமாக அவன் "தவ்பாவை" (பாவமன்னிப்புக் கோருதலை) ஏற்றுக் கொள்பவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

therefore, know that there is no god except allah and ask for forgiveness of your sins and for the believers, men and women. allah knows your going to and fro, and your lodging.
ஆகவே, நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்வைத் தவிர (வேறு) நாயன் இல்லை என்று நீர் அறிந்து கொள்வீராக இன்னும் உம்முடைய பாவத்திற்காகவும், முஃமின்களாகன ஆண்களுக்காகவும், பெண்களுக்காகவும் (பாவ) மன்னிப்புத் தேடுவீராக - அன்றியும் உங்களுடைய நடமாட்டத்தலத்தையும் உங்கள் தங்குமிடங்களையும் அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிகிறான்.

then pass on at a quick pace from the place whence it is usual for the multitude so to do, and ask for allah's forgiveness. for allah is oft-forgiving, most merciful.
பிறகு, நீங்கள் மற்ற மனிதர்கள் திரும்புகின்ற (முஸ்தலிஃபா என்னும்) இடத்திலிருந்து நீங்களும் திரும்பிச் செல்லுங்கள்; (அங்கு அதாவது மினாவில்) அல்லாஹ்விடம் மன்னிப்புப் கேளுங்கள்;. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் மிக்க மன்னிப்போனாகவும், மிக்க கருணையுடையோனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

say: 'i am only a mortal, like you are. to me it has been revealed that your god is one god; so go straight with him, and ask for his forgiveness; and woe to the idolaters
"நான் உங்களைப் போன்ற ஒரு மனிதன்தான் - ஆனால் எனக்கு வஹீ அறிவிக்கப்படுகிறது நிச்சயமாக உங்களுடைய நாயன் ஒருவனேதான், ஆகவே அவனையே நோக்கி நீங்கள் உறுதியாக நிற்பீர்களாக இன்னும், அவனிடம் நீங்கள் மன்னிப்புக் கேளுங்கள் - அன்றியும் (அவனுக்கு) இணை வைப்போருக்குக் கேடுதான்" என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்.

"you have come before us all alone," (god will say), "as when you were created first, leaving behind all that we had bestowed on you. we do not see your intercessors with you who, you imagined, had partnership with you. shattered lie your ties with them now, and gone are the claims you made."
அன்றியும் (மறுமையில் அல்லாஹ் இவர்களை நோக்கி), "நாம் உங்களை முதல் முறையாகப் படைத்தோமே அதுபோன்று நீங்கள் (எதுவுமில்லாமல்) தனியே எம்மிடம் வந்துவிட்டீர்கள்; இன்னும்; நாம் உங்களுக்கு அளித்தவற்றையெல்லாம் உங்கள் முதுகுகளுக்குப் பின்னால் விட்டு விட்டீர்கள்; எவர்களை நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய கூட்டாளிகள் என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களோ, உங்களுக்குப் பரிந்து பேசுவார்கள் (என்று எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்களோ) அவர்களை நாம் உங்களுடனிருப்பதைக் காணவில்லை, உங்களுக்கிடையே இருந்த தொடர்பும் அறுந்து விட்டது, உங்களுடைய நம்பிக்கைகள் எல்லாம் தவறிவிட்டன" (என்று கூறுவான்).
