"மேலும் அவனே என்னை மரிக்கச் செய்கிறான்; பிறகு அவனே என்னை உயிர்ப்பிப்பான்."

he giveth life and causeth to die, and unto him ye shall be returned.
அவனே உயிர் கொடுக்கின்றான்; இன்னும், (அவனே) மரிக்கச் செய்கின்றான் - பின்னர் அவனிடமே (மறுமையில்) திரும்பக் கொண்டு செல்லப்படவீர்கள்.

save unto an apostle chosen. and then he causeth to go before him and behind him a guard.

there is no god but he. he quickeneth and causeth to die: your lord and lord of your forefathers.
அவனையன்றி (வேறு) நாயன் இல்லை. அவன் உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறான்; அவனே மரிக்கச் செய்கிறான்; அவனே உங்கள் இறைவனாகவும் முன் சென்ற உங்கள் மூதாதையரின் இறைவனாகவும் இருக்கின்றான்.

or he causeth them to perish on account of that which they have earned - and he forgiveth much -
அல்லது அவர்கள் சம்பாதித்த காரணத்தினால் அவற்றை அவன் மூழ்கடிக்கச் செய்து விடுவான்; மேலும் அவன் பெரும்பாலானவற்றை மன்னித்தருளுகிறான்.

allah causeth the revolution of the day and the night. lo! herein is indeed a lesson for those who see.
இரவையும் பகலையும் அல்லாஹ்வே மாறி மாறி வரச் செய்கிறான்; நிச்சயமாக சிந்தனையுடையவர்களுக்கு இதில் (தக்க) படிப்பினை இருக்கிறது.

and he it is who quickeneth and causeth to die, and his is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect?
அவனே உயிர் கொடுக்கிறான்; இன்னும் அவனே மரணிக்கச் செய்கிறான்; மற்றும், இரவும் பகலும் மாறி மாறி வருவதும் அவனுக்குரியதே! (இவற்றை) நீங்கள் விளங்கிக் கொள்ளமாட்டீர்களா?

his is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; he giveth life and he causeth to die; and he is over everything potent.
வானங்களுடையவும், பூமியுடையவும் ஆட்சி அவனுக்கே உடையது, அவனே உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறான், மரிக்கும் படியும் செய்கிறான் - மேலும் அவன் அனைத்துப் பொருட்களின் மீதும் பேராற்றலுடையவன்.

if he willeth he causeth the wind to cease so that they keep still on the back thereof; verily therein are signs for every patient, grateful person.

lo! allah causeth those who believe and do good works to enter gardens underneath which rivers flow. lo! allah doth what he intendeth.
நிச்சயமாக, அல்லாஹ் ஈமான் கொண்டு (ஸாலிஹான) - நற்செயல் செய்பவர்களை சவனபதிகளில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்கிறான்; அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கும் - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ், தான் நாடுவதைச் செய்கிறான்.

even as we have sent unto you a messenger from among you, who reciteth unto you our revelations and causeth you to grow, and teacheth you the scripture and wisdom, and teacheth you that which ye knew not.
இதே போன்று, நாம் உங்களிடையே உங்களிலிருந்து ஒரு தூதரை, நம் வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு எடுத்து ஓதுவதற்காகவும்; உங்களைத் தூய்மைப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும்; உங்களுக்கு வேதத்தையும், ஞானத்தையும் கற்றுக்கொடுப்பதற்காகவும்; இன்னும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாமல் இருந்தவற்றை, உங்களுக்குக் கற்றுக் கொடுப்பதற்காகவும் அனுப்பியுள்ளோம்.

and when hurt toucheth mankind they cry unto their lord, turning penitently unto him; then when he causeth them to taste of his mercy, lo! a part of them with their lord associate others.
மனிதர்களுக்கு (பசி, நோய், வறுமை, பஞ்சம் போன்ற ஏதேனும்) சங்கடம் ஏற்பட்டால் அவர்கள் தங்கள் இறைவனிடம் முகம் திருப்பி, (அதை நீக்கியருள) அவனிடம் பிரார்த்தனை செய்கிறார்கள்; பிறகு அவன் அவர்களுக்கு தன்னிடமிருந்து ரஹ்மத்தை சுவைக்கச் செய்தால், அவர்களில் ஒரு பிரிவினர் தம் இறைவனுக்கு இறை வைக்கின்றனர்.

and had allah willed, he would have made them one community; but he causeth whomsoever he will to enter into his mercy. and the wrong doers! for them there shall be no patron or helper.
அல்லாஹ் நாடியிருந்தால், நிச்சயமாக அவர்கள் (யாவரையும்) அவன் ஒரே உம்மத்தாக - சமுதாயமாக ஆக்கியிருப்பான்; எனினும் அவன் தான் நாடியவர்களைத் தன்னுடைய ரஹ்மத்தில் - கிருபையில் - நுழைவிப்பான்; அநியாயக்காரர்களுக்குப் பாதுகாவலர்களோ, உதவிபுரிபவர்களோ இல்லை.

allah is he who created the heavens and the earth, and causeth water to descend from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you, and maketh the ships to be of service unto you, that they may run upon the sea at his command, and hath made of service unto you the rivers;
அல்லாஹ் எத்தகையவன் என்றால் அவன் தான் வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்து வானத்திலிருந்து மழையையும் பொழியச் செய்து அதைக் கொண்டு கனிவர்க்கங்களையும் உங்களுக்கு - ஆகாரமாக வெளிப்படுத்தித் தன் கட்டளையினால் கடலில் செல்லுமாறு கப்பலை உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்திக் கொடுத்தும், ஆறுகளையும் உங்களுக்கு வசப்படுத்தித்தந்தான்.
