so o listener! which favour of your lord will you doubt?
எனவே, (மனிதனே!) உன்னுடைய இறைவனின் அருட் கொடைகளில் எதை நீ சந்தேகிக்கிறாய்?

so o men and jinns! which favour of your lord will you deny?
ஆகவே, நீங்கள் இரு சாராரும் உங்கள் (இரு சாராருடைய) இறைவனின் அருட்கொடைகளில் எதைப் பொய்யாக்குவீர்கள்?

the munificence and favour of allah; and allah is all knowing, wise.
(இது) அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்துள்ள அனுக்கிரமும், அருள்கொடையினாலுமேயாகும், மேலும் அல்லாஹ் நன்கறிந்தவன்; ஞானம் மிக்கோன்.

அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து தாங்கள் பெற்ற நிஃமத்துகள் (நற்பேறுகள்) பற்றியும், மேன்மையைப் பற்றியும் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் முஃமின்களுக்குரிய நற்கூலியை (ஒரு சிறிதும்) வீணாக்கி விடுவதில்லை. என்பதைப் பற்றியும் மகிழ்வடைந்தோராய் இருக்கின்றார்கள்.

and had it not been for the favour of my lord, i too had been of those haled forth (to doom).
"என் இறைவனுடைய அருள் இல்லாதிருந்தால், நானும் (நரகத்திற்குக்) கொண்டு வரப்பட்டவர்களில் ஒருவனாகியிருப்பேன்.

and if ye would count the favour of allah ye cannot reckon it. lo! allah is indeed forgiving, merciful.

and abundantly proclaim the favours of your lord.
மேலும், உம்முடைய இறைவனின் அருட்கொடையைப் பற்றி (பிறருக்கு) அறிவித்துக் கொண்டிருப்பீராக.

do they not see that we have made a sacred territory secure, while men are carried off by force from around them? will they still believe in the falsehood and disbelieve in the favour of allah?
அன்றியும் (மக்காவைச்) சூழவுள்ள மனிதர்கள் (பகைவர்களால்) இறஞ்சிச் செல்லப்படும் நிலையில் (இதை) நாம் பாதுகாப்பான புனிதத் தலமாக ஆக்கியிருப்பதை அவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? இன்னும், அவர்கள் பொய்யானவற்றை நம்பி, அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையை நிராகரிக்கிறார்களா?

behold they not that we have appointed an inviolable sanctuary, while men are being snatched away round about them? in falsehood then believe they, and unto the favour of allah will they be ingrate?
அன்றியும் (மக்காவைச்) சூழவுள்ள மனிதர்கள் (பகைவர்களால்) இறஞ்சிச் செல்லப்படும் நிலையில் (இதை) நாம் பாதுகாப்பான புனிதத் தலமாக ஆக்கியிருப்பதை அவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? இன்னும், அவர்கள் பொய்யானவற்றை நம்பி, அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையை நிராகரிக்கிறார்களா?

ask the children of israel how many a clear sign we had given them. but if one changes the favour of god after having received it, then remember, god is severe in revenge.
(நபியே!) இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளிடம் (யஹூதிகளிடம்) நீர் கேளும்; "நாம் எத்தனை தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளை அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பினோம்" என்று. அல்லாஹ்வின் அருள் கொடைகள் தம்மிடம் வந்த பின்னர், யார் அதை மாற்றுகிறார்களோ, (அத்தகையோருக்கு) தண்டனை கொடுப்பதில் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் கடுமையானவன்.

allah has favoured some of you with more worldly provisions than others. then those who are more favoured do not give away their provisions to their slaves lest they become equal sharers in it. do they, then, deny the favour of allah?
அல்லாஹ் உங்களில் சிலரை சிலரைவிட செல்வத்தில் மேன்மைப்படுத்தி இருக்கிறான்; இவ்வாறு மேன்மையாக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்; தங்களுடைய செல்வத்தை தங்கள் வலக்கரங்களுக்கு உட்பட்டு(த் தம் ஆதிக்கத்தில்) இருப்பவர்களிடம் கொடுத்து, அவர்களும் இவர்கள் செல்வத்தில் சமமான உரிமை உள்ளவர்கள் என்று ஆக்கிவிடுவதில்லை (அவ்வாறிருக்க) அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையையா? இவர்கள் மறுக்கின்றனர்.

god has given some of you more provision than others. those who have been given more are unwilling to pass their provision to the servants they possess so that they become their equals. will they then deny the favour of god?
அல்லாஹ் உங்களில் சிலரை சிலரைவிட செல்வத்தில் மேன்மைப்படுத்தி இருக்கிறான்; இவ்வாறு மேன்மையாக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்; தங்களுடைய செல்வத்தை தங்கள் வலக்கரங்களுக்கு உட்பட்டு(த் தம் ஆதிக்கத்தில்) இருப்பவர்களிடம் கொடுத்து, அவர்களும் இவர்கள் செல்வத்தில் சமமான உரிமை உள்ளவர்கள் என்று ஆக்கிவிடுவதில்லை (அவ்வாறிருக்க) அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையையா? இவர்கள் மறுக்கின்றனர்.

ask thou the children of isra'il, how many a manifest sign we brought unto them. and whosoever altereth the favour of allah after it hath come unto him, then verily allah is severe in chastising.
(நபியே!) இஸ்ராயீலின் சந்ததிகளிடம் (யஹூதிகளிடம்) நீர் கேளும்; "நாம் எத்தனை தெளிவான அத்தாட்சிகளை அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பினோம்" என்று. அல்லாஹ்வின் அருள் கொடைகள் தம்மிடம் வந்த பின்னர், யார் அதை மாற்றுகிறார்களோ, (அத்தகையோருக்கு) தண்டனை கொடுப்பதில் நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் கடுமையானவன்.

and call in remembrance the favour of allah unto you, and his covenant, which he ratified with you, when ye said: "we hear and we obey": and fear allah, for allah knoweth well the secrets of your hearts.
மேலும், உங்கள் மீதுள்ள அல்லாஹ்வின் அருளையும், அவன் உங்களிடம் வாக்குறுதி வாங்கிய பொழுது நீங்கள் அதை உறுதிப்படுத்தி, "நாங்கள் செவி மடுத்தோம், நாங்கள் (உனக்கு) வழிப்பட்டோம்" என்று நீங்கள் கூறியதையும் நினைவு கூறுங்கள்;. அல்லாஹ்வுக்கு அஞ்சுங்கள்; நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் (உங்கள்) இருதயங்களிலுள்ள (இரகசியங்களை) யெல்லாம் நன்கறிந்தவனாக இருக்கின்றான்.

did they not observe that we have created a refuge in the sacred land, and people around them are snatched away? so do they believe in falsehood and are ungrateful for the favours of allah?
அன்றியும் (மக்காவைச்) சூழவுள்ள மனிதர்கள் (பகைவர்களால்) இறஞ்சிச் செல்லப்படும் நிலையில் (இதை) நாம் பாதுகாப்பான புனிதத் தலமாக ஆக்கியிருப்பதை அவர்கள் பார்க்கவில்லையா? இன்னும், அவர்கள் பொய்யானவற்றை நம்பி, அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடையை நிராகரிக்கிறார்களா?
