neither darknesses and light,
(அவ்வாறே) இருளம் ஒளியும் (சமமாகா).

nor are the darknesses and the light,
(அவ்வாறே) இருளம் ஒளியும் (சமமாகா).

all praise unto allah, who created the heavens and the earth and made the darknesses and the light, yet those who disbelieve equalise others with their lord.
எல்லாப் புகழும் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கே உரியது. அவனே வானங்களையும், பூமியையும் படைத்தான்;, இருள்களையும், ஒளியையும் அவனே உண்டாக்கினான்;, அப்படியிருந்தும் நிராகரிப்பவர்கள் தம் இறைவனுக்கு(ப் பிற பொருட்களைச்) சமமாக்குகின்றனர்.

and it is he who hath appointed for you the stars that ye may be guided thereby in the darknesses of the land and the sea. surely we have expounded the signs unto a people who know.
அவனே உங்களுக்காக நட்சத்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கினான்; அவற்றைக் கொண்டு நீங்கள் கரையிலும், கடலிலும் உள்ள இருள்களில் நீங்கள் வழியறிந்து செல்கிறீர்கள் - அறியக்கூடிய மக்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக (நம்) வசனங்களை இவ்வாறு விவரிக்கிறோம்.

by which allah guides those who pursue his pleasure to the ways of peace and brings them out from darknesses into the light, by his permission, and guides them to a straight path.
அல்லாஹ் இதைக் கொண்டு அவனது திருப்பொருத்தத்தைப் பின்பற்றக் கூடிய அனைவரையும் பாதுகாப்புள்ள நேர் வழிகளில் செலுத்துகிறான்;. இன்னும் அவர்களை இருள்களிலிருந்து வெளியேற்றி, தன் நாட்டப்படி ஒளியின் பக்கம் செலுத்துகிறான்;. மேலும் அவர்களை நேரான வழியில் செலுத்துகிறான்.

is not he best who guideth you in the darknesses of the land and the sea, and who sendeth the winds as heralds before his mercy is there any god along with allah? exalted be allah from all that they associate!
கரையிலும் கடலிலுமுள்ள இருள்களில் உங்களை நேரான வழியில் செலுத்துபவன் யார்? மேலும், தன்னுடைய 'ரஹ்மத்' என்னும் அருள் மாரிக்கு முன்னே நன்மாராயம் (கூறுவன) ஆக காற்றுகளை அனுப்பி வைப்பவன் யார்? அல்லாஹ்வுடன் (வேறு) நாயன் இருக்கின்றானா? - அவர்கள் இணை வைப்பவற்றைவிட அல்லாஹ் மிகவும் உயர்வானவன்.

and assuredly we sent musa with our signs saying: bring thy people forth from the darknesses unto the light, and remind them of the annals of allah. verily therein are signs for everyone patient, and thankful.
நிச்சயமாக, நாம் மூஸாவை நம்முடைய அத்தாட்சிகளை கொண்டு அனுப்பிவைத்து, "நீர் உம்முடைய சமூகத்தினரை இருள்களிலிருந்து, வெளியேற்றிப் பிரகாசத்தின் பால் கொண்டு வாரும், அல்லாஹ்வின் அருட்கொடைகளை அவர்களுக்கு நினைவூட்டுவீராக" என்று கட்டளையிட்டோம்; நிச்சமயாக இதில் பொறுமையுடையோர், நன்றி செலுத்துவோர் எல்லோருக்கும் படிப்பினைகள் இருக்கின்றன.

[he sent] a messenger [muhammad] reciting to you the distinct verses of allah that he may bring out those who believe and do righteous deeds from darknesses into the light. and whoever believes in allah and does righteousness - he will admit him into gardens beneath which rivers flow to abide therein forever. allah will have perfected for him a provision.
அன்றியும், ஒரு தூதரையும் அவன் (அனுப்பி வைத்தான்); அவர் அல்லாஹ்வுடைய தெளிவான வசனங்களை உங்களுக்கு ஓதிக் காண்பிக்கிறார், ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமல்கள் செய்பவர்களை இருள்களிலிருந்து, ஒளியின் பக்கம் கொண்டு வருவதற்காக, மேலும் எவர் அல்லாஹ்வின் மீது ஈமான் கொண்டு ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல) அமல் செய்கின்றாரோ அவரை அல்லாஹ் சுவனச் சோலைகளில் பிரவேசிக்கச் செய்கிறான் - அவற்றின் கீழே ஆறுகள் ஓடிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன. அவற்றில் அவர்கள் என்றென்றும் இருப்பார்கள், அல்லாஹ் அவர்களுக்குத் திடமாக உணவை அழகாக்கினான்.
