அவனே உங்களைத் தரையிலும், கடலிலும் பயணம் செய்யவைக்கிறான்; (சில சமயம்) நீங்கள் கப்பலில் இருக்கும்போது - சாதகமான நல்ல காற்றினால் (கப்பலிலுள்ள) அவர்களைக் கப்பல்கள் (சமந்து) செல்லும்போது அவர்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறார்கள்; பின்னர் புயல் காற்று வீசி எல்லாப்பக்கங்களிலிருந்தும் அலைகள் மோதும் போது, நிச்சயமாக (அலைகளால்) சூழப்பட்டோம் (தப்ப வழியில்லையே)" என்று எண்ணுகிறார்கள்; அச்சமயத்தில் தூய உள்ளத்துடன், "நீ எங்களை இதிலிருந்து காப்பாற்றி விட்டால், மெய்யாகவே நாங்கள் உனக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துபவர்களாக இருப்போம்" என்று அல்லாஹ்விடம் பிரார்த்திக்கின்றார்கள்.
