leave them to eat and enjoy and to be diverted by longings. soon they will know.
(இம்மையில் தம் விருப்பம் போல்) புசித்துக் கொண்டும், சுகம் அனுபவித்துக் கொண்டும் இருக்க அவர்களை விட்டு விடுவீராக அவர்களுடைய வீணான ஆசைகள் (மறுமையிலிருந்தும்) அவர்களைப் பராக்காக்கி விட்டன (இதன் பலனைப் பின்னர்) அவர்கள் நன்கறிந்து கொள்வார்கள்.

(நபியே!) அன்றியும், அவர்கள் எ(வ் விஷயத்)தில் தர்க்கித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்களோ அதை நீர் தெளிவாக்குவதற்காகவே உம் மீது இவ்வேதத்தை இறக்கினோம்; இன்னும், ஈமான் கொண்டுள்ள மக்களுக்கு (இது) நேரான வழியாகவும், ரஹ்மத்தாகவும் (அருளாகவும்) இருக்கிறது.

and to be good to my mother, and he has not made me self-willed and wretched.
"என் தாயாருக்கு நன்றி செய்பவனாக (என்னை ஏவியிருக்கின்றான்;) நற்பேறு கெட்ட பெருமைக்காரனாக என்னை அவன் ஆக்கவில்லை.

but we wanted to be gracious to those abased in the land, and to make them leaders and inheritors,
ஆயினும் (மிஸ்று) பூமியில் பலஹீனப் படுத்தப்பட்டோருக்கு நாம் உபகாரம் செய்யவும், அவர்களைத் தலைவர்களாக்கிவிடவும் அவர்களை (நாட்டுக்கு) வாரிசகளாக்கவும் நாடினோம்.

and to be of those who believe, and urge upon one another to persevere, and urge upon each other to be kind.
பின்னர், ஈமான் கொண்டு, பொறுமையைக் கொண்டு ஒருவருக்கொருவர் உபதேசித்தும், கிருபையைக் கொண்டு ஒருவருக் கொருவர் உபதேசித்தும் வந்தவர்களில் இருப்பதுவும் (கணவாயைக் கடத்தல்) ஆகும்.

(they were told): "flee not, but return to your comforts and to your dwellings. you are likely to be questioned."
"விரைந்து ஓடாதீர்கள், நீங்கள் அனுபவித்த சுக போகங்களுக்கும், உங்கள் வீடுகளுக்கும் திரும்பி வாருங்கள்; (அவை பற்றி) நீங்கள் கேள்வி கேட்கப்படுவதற்காக" (என்று அவர்களுக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது).

allah does not forbid you to be kind and to act justly to those who have neither made war on your religion nor expelled you from your homes. allah loves the just.
மார்க்க (விஷய)த்தில் உங்களிடம் போரிடாமலும், உங்கள் இல்லங்களிலிருந்து உங்களை வெளியேற்றாமலும் இருந்தார்களே அவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் நன்மை செய்வதையும், அவர்களுக்கு நீங்கள் நீதி செய்வதையும் அல்லாஹ் விலக்க வில்லை - நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீதி செய்பவர்களை நேசிக்கிறான்.

he is the only god and it is only he who deserves to be given thanks in this world and in the life to come. judgment is in his hands and to him you will all return.
மேலும்; அவனே அல்லாஹ்! அவனை அன்றி (வேறு) நாயன் இல்லை. இம்மையிலும், மறுமையிலும் எல்லாப் புகழும் அவனுக்கே உரியது தீர்ப்புக் கூறும் அதிகாரமும் அவனுக்கே உரியது ஆதலின் அவனிடத்திலேயே நீங்கள் திரும்பிக் கொண்டு வரப்படுவீர்கள்.

say, "i am commanded to serve the lord of this town, which he has made inviolable and to whom everything belongs; i am commanded to be one of those devoted to him;
"இந்த ஊரை எவன் கண்ணியப் படுத்தியுள்ளானோ அந்த இறைவனை வணங்குமாறு நான் கட்டளையிடப் பட்டுள்ளேன். எல்லாப் பொருட்களும் அவனுக்கே உரியன அன்றியும் அவனுக்கே முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டவானக இருக்கும்படியும் நாhன் ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்" (என்று நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக).

and be not like unto those who came forth from their homes vaunting and to be seen of men and hindering others from the way of allah; and allah is the ecompasser of that which they work.
பெருமைக்காகவும், மனிதர்களுக்குக் காண்பிப்பதற்காகவும் தங்கள் வீடுகளிலிருந்துக் கிளம்பி (முஸ்லிம்களுக்கெதிராக பத்ரில்) மக்களை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையை விட்டுத் தடுத்தார்களே அவர்களைப் போன்று நீங்கள் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள் - அவர்கள் செய்வதை அல்லாஹ் சூழ்ந்து அறிந்தவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

and appointed them to be leaders guiding by our command, and we revealed to them the doing of good deeds, and to perform the prayer, and to pay the alms, and us they served.
இன்னும் நம் கட்டளையைக் கொண்டு (மக்களுக்கு) நேர்வழி காட்டும் இமாம்களாக - தலைவர்களாக - நாம் அவர்களை ஆக்கினோம்; மேலும், நன்மையுடைய செயல்களைக் புரியுமாறும், தொழுகையைக் கடைப்பிடிக்குமாறும், ஜகாத்தை கொடுத்து வருமாறும், நாம் அவர்களுக்கு வஹீ மூலம் அறிவித்தோம் - அவர்கள் நம்மையே வணங்குபவர்களாக இருந்தனர்.

and do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of allah. and allah is encompassing of what they do.
பெருமைக்காகவும், மனிதர்களுக்குக் காண்பிப்பதற்காகவும் தங்கள் வீடுகளிலிருந்துக் கிளம்பி (முஸ்லிம்களுக்கெதிராக பத்ரில்) மக்களை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையை விட்டுத் தடுத்தார்களே அவர்களைப் போன்று நீங்கள் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள் - அவர்கள் செய்வதை அல்லாஹ் சூழ்ந்து அறிந்தவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

(muhammad), say, "the holy spirit has brought the quran from your lord to you in all truth to strengthen the faith of the believers and to be a guide and glad news for the muslims".
(நபியே!) "ஈமான் கொண்டோரை உறுதிப்படுத்துவதற்காகவும், (இறைவனுக்கு முற்றிலும் வழிப்பட்டோராகிய) முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு நேர்வழி காட்டியாகவும் நன்மாராயமாகவும் உம்முடைய இறைவனிடமிருந்து உண்மையைக் கொண்டு ரூஹுல் குதுஸ் (என்னும் ஜிப்ரயீல்) இதை இறக்கி வைத்தார்" என்று (அவர்களிடம்) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

and be not like those who started from their homes insolently and to be seen of men, and to hinder (men) from the path of allah: for allah compasseth round about all that they do.
பெருமைக்காகவும், மனிதர்களுக்குக் காண்பிப்பதற்காகவும் தங்கள் வீடுகளிலிருந்துக் கிளம்பி (முஸ்லிம்களுக்கெதிராக பத்ரில்) மக்களை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய பாதையை விட்டுத் தடுத்தார்களே அவர்களைப் போன்று நீங்கள் ஆகிவிடாதீர்கள் - அவர்கள் செய்வதை அல்லாஹ் சூழ்ந்து அறிந்தவனாக இருக்கிறான்.

[say], ‘i have been commanded to worship the lord of this city who has made it inviolable and to whom all things belong, and i have been commanded to be among those who submit [to allah],
"இந்த ஊரை எவன் கண்ணியப் படுத்தியுள்ளானோ அந்த இறைவனை வணங்குமாறு நான் கட்டளையிடப் பட்டுள்ளேன். எல்லாப் பொருட்களும் அவனுக்கே உரியன அன்றியும் அவனுக்கே முற்றிலும் வழிபட்டவானக இருக்கும்படியும் நாhன் ஏவப்பட்டுள்ளேன்" (என்று நபியே! நீர் கூறுவீராக).

as a judge, i would work to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal system. i would strive to be a role model for young people, especially those from underrepresented communities, and to show them that they too can make a difference in the world. i would also work to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal system, using technology and other tools to streamline processes and make justice more accessible to all. in short, i believe that becoming a judge is not just about wearing a robe and making decisions - it's about using my position to make a positive difference in the world. and that's what i hope to do. thank you.
