but for allah's favour, i should be one of those who have been mustered here.
"என் இறைவனுடைய அருள் இல்லாதிருந்தால், நானும் (நரகத்திற்குக்) கொண்டு வரப்பட்டவர்களில் ஒருவனாகியிருப்பேன்.

had it not been for the grace of my lord i too would have been there (in hell).

but for the favor of allah i should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in hell).

i should have been completed m.tech degree, but i had no interest on those period and i was a not so matured not now i am

and lest a person should say: “if only allah had guided me, i should have been one of the god-fearing”;
அல்லது "அல்லாஹ் எனக்கு நேர்வழியை அறிவித்திருந்தால், நானும் முத்தகீன் - பயபக்தியுடையவர்களின் - ஒருவனாகி இருப்பேனே!" என்று கூறாமல் இருப்பதற்காகவும்;

and we had not vouchsafed unto them books they should have been studying, nor had we sent unto them, before thee, any warner.
எனினும் (இதற்கு முன்) நாம் இவர்களுக்கு இவர்கள் ஓதக்கூடிய வேதங்கள் எதையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை உமக்கு முன்னர், நாம் இவர்களிடம் அச்சமூட்டி செய்பவரையும் அனுப்பவில்லை.

and if grace from allah come to you, he would certainly cry out, as if there had not been any friendship between you and him: would that i had been with them, then i should have attained a mighty good fortune.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.

say: i am forbidden to serve those whom you call upon besides allah. say: i do not follow your low desires. for then indeed i should have gone astray and i should not be of those who go aright.
"நீங்கள் அல்லாஹ்வையன்றி வேறு எவர்களை(க் கடவுளர்களாக) அழைக்கின்றீர்களோ அவர்களை வணங்கக் கூடாதென்று நான் நிச்சயமாக தடுக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளேன்" (என்று நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக "உங்களுடைய மன இச்சைகளை நான் பின்பற்ற மாட்டேன்; (நான் அப்படிச் செய்தால்) நான் நிச்சயமாக வழி தவறி விடுவேன்; மேலும் நான் நேர்வழி பெற்றவர்களிலும் இருக்கமாட்டேன்" என்றும் (நபியே!) நீர் கூறுவீராக.

and they say: what is the matter with this apostle that he eats food and goes about in the markets; why has not an angel been sent down to him, so that he should have been a warner with him?
மேலும் அவர்கள் கூறுகிறார்கள்; "இந்த ரஸூலுக்கு என்ன? இவர் (மற்றவர்களைப் போலவே) உணவு உண்கிறார் கடை வீதிகளில் நடக்கிறார். இவருடன் சேர்ந்து அச்சமூட்டி எச்சரிப்பதற்காக, ஒரு மலக்கு (வானவர்) அனுப்பப்பட்டிருக்க வேண்டாமா?"

and spend out of what we have given you before death comes to one of you, so that he should say: my lord! why didst thou not respite me to a near term, so that i should have given alms and been of the doers of good deeds?
உங்களில் ஒருவருக்கு மரணம் வருமுன்னரே, நாம் உங்களுக்கு அளித்த பொருளிலிருந்து, தான தர்மம் செய்து கொள்ளுங்கள், (அவ்வாறு செய்யாது மரணிக்கும் சமயம்); "என் இறைவனே! என் தவணையை எனக்கு சிறிது பிற்படுத்தக் கூடாதா? அப்படியாயின் நானும் தான தர்மம் செய்து ஸாலிஹான (நல்ல)வர்களில் ஒருவனாக ஆகிவிடுவேனே" என்று கூறுவான்.

but if, by god's grace, good fortune should be your lot, they will say, "if only i had been with them i should have achieved a great success," as if no affection had existed between you and them.
அல்லாஹ்விடமிருந்து உங்களுக்கு ஒரு பாக்கியம் கிடைக்குமானால், உங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு மிடையே நேசமே இல்லாத (அன்னியர்கள்) போல்; "நானும் அவர்களுடன் இருந்திருக்கக் கூடாதா? நானும் பெரும் பாக்கியத்தை அடைந்திருப்பேனே!" என்று நிச்சயமாகக் கூறுவார்கள்.
