is it not plain to those who inherit the earth after its inhabitants that if we willed we could smite them for their sins and set a seal upon their hearts, so that they do not hear.
பூமியில் (வாழ்ந்து போனவர்களுக்குப் பின்னால்), அதனை வாரிசாகப் பெற்ற இவர்களையும், நாம் நாடினால், இவர்களுடைய பாவங்களின் காரணத்தால் (அவ்வாறே) தண்டிப்போம் என்பது இவர்களுக்கு தெளிவாகவில்லையா? நாம் இவர்களுடைய இதயங்களின் மீது முத்திரையிட்டு விட்டோம்; எனவே இவர்கள் (நற்போதனைகளுக்குச்) செவிசாய்க்க மாட்டார்கள்.

is it not clear to those who inherit the earth after its (former) residents that if we please we would afflict them on account of their faults and set a seal on their hearts so they would not hear.

is it not an indication to those who inherit the land after its people (who thus reaped the consequence of evil-doing) that, if we will, we can smite them for their sins and print upon their hearts so that they hear not?

and if we had made it a non-arabic qur'an, they would have said, "why are its verses not explained in detail [in our language]? is it a foreign [recitation] and an arab [messenger]?" say, "it is, for those who believe, a guidance and cure." and those who do not believe - in their ears is deafness, and it is upon them blindness. those are being called from a distant place.

"இது ஈமான் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு ஒரு வழிகாட்டியும், (அரு) மருந்துமாகும்" என்று கூறுவீராக! ஆனால் ஈமான் கொள்ளாதவர்களுக்கு, அவர்களுடைய காதுகளில் செவிட்டுத்தன்மை இருக்கிறது இன்னும், அவர் (கண்)களில் குருட்டுதனமும் இருக்கிறது எனவே அவர்கள் வெகு தொலைவான இடத்திலிருந்து அழைக்கப்படுபவர்கள் (போல் இருக்கின்றனர்).
